Elephas gives you a lot of content to work with compared to free online tools. The new brain creation tool is great, and really allows you to emulate particular styles of writing.

Nachteile:

It is prone to repeating itself, and can often just write the same article twice with only the subject keywords swapped out. The custom brain tool mitigates this somewhat.

Power of ChatGPT in your Mac OS applications

Kommentare: Elephas combines many of the options that I was looking to solve with different online tools, and now not only it's combined into one, but it's working 'standalone' and 'inline' in my Mac applications. This is awesome.

Vorteile:

Elephas enables you to use the power of OpenAI / ChatGPT in your regular workflows / applications on Mac OS. No need to copy paste, just work inline anywhere you need it. Add the SuperBrain option and you have a powerful self-trained AI brain at your fingertips.

Nachteile:

As with any startup or new SaaS product, you run into the occasional bug or UX/UI may be improved. It just needs time, and with every update it just gets better.

ChatGPT integrated in your daily workflows

I have been using this software on a daily basis and it has become an essential tool for automating various tasks. From replying to messages, writing articles, to creating technical documentation, this software has significantly streamlined my workflow. One of the aspects that I truly appreciate about this software is the responsiveness of the developers. Whenever I encounter a bug or have a feature request, they are quick to address the issue and provide updates. Their commitment to improving the software based on user feedback is commendable and ensures a smooth user experience.

Nachteile:

I would love integrations with more messaging platforms/mail software, such as Spark or LinkedIn.

Excellent and promising application

Kommentare: Most of the time, I utilize it as a text enhancer, rephrasing and correcting; however, occasionally I employ it as an AI tool.

Vorteile:

It's a fantastic app for managing text: translations, rephrasing, fixing text, and more. I switched from another popular app and I'm extremely satisfied. In addition to this, it appears to me that it holds great potential for advancement as an AI tool.

Nachteile:

Maybe the product should focus on improving its access and functionality as an AI general tool, if that's what the developers aim for, but for now, it's already great.

Essential tool

Vorteile:

Very flexible. I use it daily for numerous tasks including work, education, and personal life.

Nachteile:

Has a slight learning curve. A lot of functionality for a little program.

This app does things that no other apps do. The ability to create super brains is excellent.

Nachteile:

Sometimes it can be difficult to set up brains but once this is done it is easy to use.

Enjoyed the potential for productivity with seamless integration on Mac.

Nachteile:

Need to have your own guardrails up as it can edit parts of your email or text without realising, relying on API less data concerns but sitll hallucinated content creeps in so a lot of oversight and corrections needed. But that's what LLMs are for you!

Awesome business tool

Kommentare: I love Elephas. It makes a lot of tedious thing easier. From brainstorming to writing. I use the Super Brain functionality often, i.e. to bounce ideas off of. The Super Brain function is awesome to keep my ebook collection useful on a daily basis.

Vorteile:

Ability to create brains, and synchronize them with IOS devices.

Nachteile:

The interface could be improved a tiny bit.

Innovative and Convenient

Kommentare: Overall, I've been very happy with it. I work in a foreign language context, and it helps me make sure that the text I produce is using appropriate collocations, etc. given the context. It is like having a native speaking assistant at my disposal at all times, and I don't even need to feed him.

Vorteile:

Elephas gives me easy access to GPT services and includes an ever-increasing array of convenient built-in tools. Furthermore, the developer is relentless in adding and refining features.

Nachteile:

Many of the best features are hidden in submenus that are hard to find, and sometimes new features are difficult to understand, even with the helpful "onboarding" videos.

One of my most used tools

Kommentare: Elephas is best thought of as a force-multiplier for productivity tasks which is a unique application of GPT3/4 which is enabled by its deep integration into macOS.

Elephas is an incredibly useful tool. It is built into macOS, making it very easy to integrate into existing workflows. It also provides a great chatbot front-end for chatgpt, making it a great way to automate tasks and streamline communication.

Nachteile:

Elephas is a great tool, but it could use some improvements. The lack of an auto-update mechanism is a bit of a letdown, and the UI could use a bit more polish.

Vorteile:

I like the continue writing, and the rewrite feature the most. I really like how it integrates seamlessly into Mac OS - and hope it stays lightweight and minimal. Hotkeys are great too!

Nachteile:

I appreciate the number of utilities, but I worry there are too many, and the focus should be on perfecting a smaller set. I also hope it doesn't become too bloated with too many menus and animations.

Killer GPT-based Software Integrated With Your Mac

Kommentare: Elephas has empowered me to work more quickly and efficiently, and to keep me moving at times when I would otherwise be stuck. It's helped me rewrite my portfolio, bio, write social media posts and create case studies, figure out a plan of action in solving complex problems, and generate ideas I wouldn't have thought of otherwise. Not to mention, it's totally streamlined my email and message replies. It's been a great compliment to my workflow in MacOS, and has just become part of how I work while staying out of the way when I don't need it. I'm not sure it can get much better than that!

Vorteile:

I love Elehpas' features. It was pretty quick to jump into the AI game, and I was an early adopter. I was surprised with every update, as they always included something that felt fresh and new—even within the broader AI landscape. Customizable writing tones, configurable datasets for the AI to work with, and preset actions were some of the features that really impressed me. Outside of that, it's insanely convenient to have AI at the ready no matter where you are in your OS.

Nachteile:

I've had no issues with Elephas from a functional standpoint. I think there are a few UI things that could be tightened up—like the Diff Viewer and maybe the chat window—but it's more than functional. Could just be a little prettier sometimes.

Growing your software

Kommentare: It’s been a good product so far. There are still improvements that need to be made, but [sensitive content hidden] is fast to iterate and continues to improve.

Vorteile:

I love using the smart write feature to reply to emails and help me write out documents. I have found it to be a great time saver.

Nachteile:

It can sometimes be buggy and will take a few attempts to get an appropriate output. Sometimes I will use smart write, and it will paste from clipboard vs creating relevant content.

I discovered this tool thanks to a friend and have become my Swiss-knife tool for content creation and AI productivity assistance. I like the fact that you can create brains, bringing your own data, and chat with it, as it was some sort of Yoda character. This is a game changer. By far the best app of its kind as of the moment.Additionally, the team is very proactive bringing up new updates and fixing small bugs.Kuddos and continue the great job.

Nachteile:

I guess it can't be avoided, but API calls to OpeanAI results being quite expensive... but I guess it's the price to pay for having a customized brain at your service.

in the age of AI and almost instant information, speed is everything and this is that boost you need

the brains that you can create from information you have already created and then interact with, is one of the most brilliant features of any AI I have come across. you can get new perspectives on information that you have already curated, only helping expand what you can do.

Nachteile:

the user interface has a fairly steep learning curve and isn't that simple to interact with, sometimes a feature like rewrite will completely change what I am talking about to a degree that removes all of the important topics I am trying to write about.

A must app to have on you Mac

A powerful assistant!

Vorteile:

I love that it’s embedded deeply into all my macOS apps. There are several powerful browser plugins but the only work in the browser. Elephas works in every app I use on my Mac!

Nachteile:

The learning curve was a bit steeper than I expected. Not necessarily the software learning curve but the learning curve to properly prompt and use AI in general. I watched several videos and tutorials to learn how to prompt more effectively and it made a huge difference. To make the most of this app, take the time to really learn how to use prompts and how to chat with AI.

Elephas Saves me time as I set up my new business.

The capability to handle more contact, deal with more emails and refine my content has been a real help for me as I set up my new company. It is intuitive and learns as it goes.

Presentation mode is light at the moment and the ability to import current presentations to make better ones would be an improvement.

Perspective of a blind student.

Kommentare: Overall, this is probably the best app to integrate GPT features into macOS. I have no real complaints about it. It's also very accessible, especially with my screen reader. I'm a computer science student, so this is very important to me.

Vorteile:

Uses native macOS features. Integrates with other apps. App is accessible for the blind.

Nachteile:

Unable to modify the system instruction to steer the model effectively.

There's a learning curve. There are so many features that it can be a bit overwhelming to know where to start. My recommendation is to pick one high-leverage use case for you and branch out from there.

Technically challenged user Very pleased with prduct

Kommentare: Intrigued by the advantages of using AI. Saw this company came highly rated and gave it a try. One morning I was having difficulty only to receive an immediate response via email to set up a zoom to fix my issues. Minutes later the [sensitive content hidden] of the company was helping me. This alone sold me on the product.

Vorteile:

Grammar check and re write. Hopefully I'll figure out a way to use the other features as I LOVE the grammar check.

Nachteile:

Cannot blame Elephas as my technical skills are lacking

Best AI tool

Vorteile:

Mind behind Elephas is brilliant. I believe this is the most feature complete product currently available in the market. Their Super Brain feature is really cool and used extensively.

Nachteile:

Elephas is only available on mac and iOS. Me being mac user is able to harness the power of Elephas but at the same time on mobile I am an Android user so there I have to see some other tool which disrupt my workflow. It doesn't become seamless.
