Logos Fund Accounting Erfahrungen

We have been very satisfied with LOGOS and have been using it for years.

Kommentare: It has been a great accounting package. Love it!

Vorteile:

The program is very stable and easy to use. Works well for fund accounting. Very customizable. The version we are using is still resident on our server and not in "the cloud" which is what I want. If Internet goes down we are still able to work. We do use their Global Backup to store backups offsite.

Nachteile:

Not really a con, but would love it if we could store reports in the format we want as a group so end of month we could just pick a group to run and print rather than having to pick each one.

I used logos for years until our company changed products

Kommentare: I was pleased with the ease of use and it's versatility.

Vorteile:

I liked that I could find the information I needed quickly and did not have to mess with too many steps.

Nachteile:

I don't recall having any trouble. The only thing would be that I did not have many features to work with because the program was dated for our office.

We're not leaving Logos. Logos is leaving us.

Kommentare: Logos Accounting met our accounting needs for many years. We especially appreciated the customization options which were available to us.

Vorteile:

Our church began using Logos Accounting in 2007. It served us well over the years, providing a decent, customizable fund accounting solution for our church; however, it will reach its end-of-life at the end of 2018, as the outdated software platform it was built upon is no longer supported.

Nachteile:

Any cons no longer matter as the software is being sunsetted. We are researching new fund accounting solutions. Goodbye, Logos!

Kommentare: If you are searching for a simplified method to manage your church administration look no further. I personally believe for churches 50 - 10,000 this is the best versatile product for the price and support you will receive. Vorteile:

1. Quickly able to learn and use. 2. Amazing implementation team. 3. Great support willing to listen and help. 4. Product development is a priority with Logos. Exciting to see the new products coming soon. 5. A great program to track Mother's Day Out or Childcare Fees. 6. Online giving and online payment for childcare has been a plus.

Nachteile:

I would personally not use any other programs at this time except for Logos.

Meets All of our Church's Needs

Kommentare: Highly recommend this software package for church use.

Vorteile:

Our church is not large, but this accounting package is robust and meets all of our needs. We have only scratched the surface of the software's functionality, and I will be spending more time in 2012 trying to take advantage of more features.

Nachteile:

Not anything major. It would be nice to be able to toggle between Logos Fund Accounting and Logos II within one login. My job includes posting contributions, so I use both pieces of software.

This is an antique accounting system that will disappear at the end of 2018

Vorteile:

Integrateded with LOGOS II CMS. Reporting is inflexible. EXCEL exports are poorly formated and hard to use.

Nachteile:

LOGOS has just announced that they will cease to support this antiquated system at the end of this year. They are providing no support for transferring historical accounting data to any new system, and will not provide access to their server-based online system after 12/31/18, which means you will have no way to do your year-end close or W-2's or 1099's

We've used this for 15+years.

Vorteile:

I think the accounting system is easy to learn and maneuver around. Good reports. Payroll is good.

Nachteile:

The system has not been updated, support response time is usually mediocre. Once they do call, they are helpful. The W2, 1099's are ridiculous. Always have to figure and end around on that. It's too bad Parish Soft doesn't value the product enough to modernize it.

Kommentare: Recommend this product, but would encourage buyers/users to attend trainings, especially if new to this type of accounting system/process.

Vorteile:

Once the system is understood and "mastered" it is easy to use. Even without purchasing the extra reports, for our small church, all the information we would need is there in the reports available with the program as purchased. Technical Support has been very helpful over the years!

Nachteile:

There is no cut/copy/paste edit option (would be helpful to just copy and paste in the already paid area). We are suppose to be able to update from the Help/About Accounting Tab and it hasn't worked it years (even after calling to see if this could be corrected).

More Pleased

Kommentare: LOGOS takes some getting used to and actual data entry into the software is extremely user friendly. The custom reporting is available and I would love to see this area developed and trainings provided more regularly to teach users the bells and whistles and or efficient use of the software.

Kommentare: I would recommend this program. I have recommended to our church and they are now using it.

This is great for fund accounting.

Nachteile:

I would like to see more ability for me to create my own reports and a way that is more user friendly than the User Financial reports.

EzCare2 Tie

Kommentare: Overall I feel the company is very professional and works hard to meet the needs of their customers.

Vorteile:

The support staff is amazing and very helpful.

Nachteile:

Sometimes does not import well with EzCare2.
