Easy to use

Kommentare: Implementation was a dream. They had a team that helped us manage the project and uploaded all our content for us. As a small team, this was important.

Vorteile:

It transposes videos, provides full text search, allows for different groups to be created, user analysis so we know if we are getting our money's worth for the tool.

Nachteile:

I wish I could edit docs in the tool. But there are few cons that we have found at this point in time.

Bloomfire - Exceptional platform

Kommentare: Overall, we needed a knowledgebase that was better for our department. Our previous KB was a bit of a mess and very difficult to search or find any basic information. Bloomfire has been an amazing change! I would choose them everyday.

Vorteile:

Key aspects: searchability, how it looks, and organization features.

Nachteile:

I feel that the reports could be enhanced. We would like to pull data easily such as documenting if/when people are logging in. Right now the process is extremely manual (you have to look at each person individually). However, customer service has been wonderful in assisting us in this. Additionally, it would be amazing to update some of the formatting options. The bulleting in particular can be very finnicky.

Vorteile:

Very intuitive and easy to use. Searchability was key for our company and it certainly delivers on that! Our customer success manager goes out of her way to ensure her clients have the information and tools they need to ensure a positive experience, from implementation to deploying and leveraging new features.

Nachteile:

The content update process seemed a little cumbersome at first but I think that has improved over time. In general, there's nothing about the platform that I don't like.

Recent Updates Diminish Value of Product Usability

Kommentare: The initial experience was extremely positive, the recent updates significantly reduce the usefulness of the product specifically where tables and embedded documents are concerned.

Vorteile:

We use the system as a knowledge base to inform our ongoing software implementations and keep our Support team up to speed on current functionality. I love that articles/posts are really easy to create and categorize. The search functionality works well which makes finding information very easy.

Nachteile:

The product allows you to embed documents and create tables into posts. Unfortunately, a recent update to the user interface reduces the size of the article to about 1/3 the width of a monitor. As a result, tables and embedded documents are extremely difficult to read as the formatting is severely impacted. I am not sure how to post screenshots. I have escalated to our site administrator who was informed by Bloomfire support that there is no way to revert the settings. Given that we use the system as a knowledge base, we use tables extensively to summarize information for quick and simple digestion. We also regularly embed word documents, PDFs, and Excel files. The new layout/format makes those embedded documents unreadable without extensive zooming or direct downloading of the articles. Prior to this change, the product met our needs and was highly functional. That is no longer the case.

Happy with Bloomfire existing Functionalities

Kommentare: it's been a year with Bloomfire and the initial migration process was pretty smooth and we are enjoying using the platform.The 2 key things that can make the platform even better are, the bulk upload option and the deeper access restriction options.

Vorteile:

The search features and the capability to have the blogs/ articles created within it.The archival system and the version controls are the best ever features..

Nachteile:

having 2 links created for the same post when it is mapped under 2 groups.

Nachteile:

Nothing really, but to get the most out of it you really need a plan for organizing the content. Their team helps with that, but it's not something you can just do and forget about - you need to constantly be thinking about how to maintain the content.

Easy to use

Kommentare: We use it to house all of the information for a product that I license. We share information across the user base, add articles and find relevant information about using the tools that we license.

Vorteile:

Very clear navigation, you know where to find what you are looking for

Nachteile:

Sometimes I have a hard time finding older articles and get mixed up with new and old material when I am looking for a specific piece of informaiton

Bloomfire - faster searches and better collaboration

Kommentare: Bloomfire makes it easy to Collaborate with other users on posts, streamlines processes, saving time on multiple projects. It has proven to be an invaluable resource for managing paperwork and staying up to date on implementations, making workflow easier and more efficient.

Vorteile:

I started using Bloomdire since last year, at first I was a bit skeptical, but I realized that it is one of those platforms that makes your work easier, especially when searching for information and making decisions, I really like the interface it is Easy to use and the search function is efficient, Bloomfire significantly simplifies the search for information in our marketing department. the platform enables quick access to the information you need with just a few clicks or searches, surpassing traditional web searches in speed and reliability.

Nachteile:

Bloomfire is a software with useful tools, but it is not easy to understand for new users, it needs to be more intuitive so that the learning process does not take a long time, another aspect that needs to be improved is to be more open to customization, so that Users can adapt them to their needs.

Kommentare: maybe because english is my second language but it took me almost 6 months to get used to how to search things and find things on it.

Vorteile:

I love the main page and how you can change it to tailored it to our needs

Nachteile:

sometimes it is hard to remember where the answer is and the search button and the tags are just too much. you really need to remember some key words for the search

Great ease in accessing important work media

Kommentare: Overall, when I can’t find someone to answer a question for me, I can refer to Bloomfire.

Vorteile:

I love that articles relating to policy changes and event announcements are easily accessible and available through one platform. Many questions my colleagues have can be answered by referring to Bloomfire app.

Nachteile:

I would like the articles to be in sections, i.e., events, policy, etc.

Bloomfire’s search functionality works infinitely better than the folder/file structure of alternatives. Search does not require an understanding of the filing structure, so all users can benefit without the need for training on filing nomenclature and structure. Bloomfire makes it easier for our 110+ fractional Chief Marketing Officers and Chief Sales Officers to learn from each other as a result.

Nachteile:

I would love to see an integration between Bloomfire and Dropbox so that documents in Dropbox could be read by the Bloomfire engine without actually having to be moved into the Bloomfire database.

User friendly, effective and adaptable!

Vorteile:

Bloomfire is exceptionally user friendly both for end users and back end admins. It is so easy to customise the platform, add your own content, manage users and maintain an archive of information. The Bloomfire team are always a joy to work with and offer quick, effective support.

Nachteile:

Some aspects can feel overly manual at times - for example we often have end users searching for content using phrases we hadn't anticipated or possibly typos. As such, the word/phrase is not connected to the post and they do not find what they are searching for. It would be great for this search to connect phrases together a little more extensively.

Great product

Kommentare: I absolutely love this product and look forward to watching the improvements and updates that come with this product.

Vorteile:

Our company uses this product as the information bible we have been building it up for years and this is used daily with all our agents and it is a very easy and effective way to get the info you need and if the info is not there that is an easy way to add it.

Nachteile:

adding links and making informational articles can run into formatting is a challenges and sometime finding information can be difficult

Kommentare: We use Bloomfire as an internal knowledge base for our customer support team. It's extremely effective in documenting best practices and updates. The social components make it easy for our team to create their own content and have it reviewed by leadership before publishing. It also makes it easy for to share and track readership over time. The comments capabilities allow us to track issues and opportunities over time, as well. We use the analytics as part of our monthly performance evaluation to ensure our team is participating and collaborating in an effort to stay abreast of whatever is changing week over week. As we've scaled up, Bloomfire has helped us maintain the feel of a start-up in how we publish and disseminate updates as a department.

Vorteile:

Social components. Ease of publishing and editing.

Would love better internal SEO analytics.

Amazing easy to use platform

Vorteile:

Bloomfire is an amazing tool! We were using Sharepoint and it was clunky for saving and sharing. Adding Bloomfire to our toolbox has really helped make our team more self sufficient and allowed people to be more resourceful when they need information.

Nachteile:

Really easy to use no suggested updates

Kommentare: I enjoy knowing that if I type things in many times, eventually someone will know what I need..

Vorteile:

I love that I can search for anything within my company and 75% of the time I can immediately find what I need.

Nachteile:

There are times when I know something is there but because I do not use the exact term it was labeled as I cannot find it immediately.

Beautiful Bloomfire

Kommentare: Our organization has been using Bloomfire for 2 years now -- for 2 in Sales and 1 for a community of learning professionals. We've seen such a great impact that we hope to expand it to another 800 users in the service community.
Bloomfire has enabled us to consolidate information into a user-friendly, mobile accessible platform for users to not only get information faster, but to connect with a larger community of peers and to SME's as well.
And being a service organization as well, I can't say enough great things about Bloomfire's desire and execution from a service perspective. They listen and are ALWAYS willing and ready to assist. They are tremendous!

Kommentare: While there's a lot I could speak to in terms of the product itself, specifically, I recently had an amazing customer support interaction with Bloomfire. I submitted a question/suggestion about something I was unaware was currently already an available feature in Bloomfire. I submitted my request, and within an hour, I had a phone call and voicemail from Chad, Director of Client Success, with an answer. Because I didn't pick up, he also sent me a follow-up email, which included a screencap video walking me through the process. I was pretty blown away by this level of fast and efficient customer support, which only makes me more of a supporter of the Bloomfire platform. Thank you for being a trusted source for in sharing information and resources!

Vorteile:

It's easy to use, reliable, and Bloomfire offers great customer support in my experience.

Nachteile:

It would be great to have the ability for more collaboration (i.e. multiple people working on edits at once on the same piece).

Great way to socialized sales content and news

Kommentare: It allowed us to have a searchable content repository of sales collateral and training as well as an announcement board for news and market research.

Vorteile:

The "timeline view" for latest content and news. It allows sales to have a quick refresh of the latest developments in the business.

Nachteile:

The search engine could use some optimization and has no easy tools to build product taxonomies which limits a bit its adoption as a sales enablement tool

Blooming your business

Kommentare: Bloomfire is very use to use and share information across the board with everyone on your team. They offer straight forward layouts and templates for your posts which you can edit at anytime from any device. So everyone can have access to the most recent information.

Vorteile:

User friendly and you can edit at any time

Nachteile:

When bloomfire goes down you are completely impaired if that the only place you store information on.

Greatest Collaboration Portal on Earth

Kommentare: As a fast growing company, a location for training, sharing of ideas, storage for videos - documentation - and etc. is crucial to providing right now access. Love Bloomfire. The ability to upload and create content is sophisticated, seamless, and can learn in 15 seconds.

Vorteile:

Allowing access over a very large group and locations. The ease of uploading content.

Nachteile:

Front page videos.

We use Bloomfire as a company intranet, it is easy to use and has great search functionality.

Kommentare: This software helped us get company info in one place and easily searchable.

Vorteile:

The search functionality is what makes this software most valuable. While it gives you the ability to organize material in many different ways, the ability to do a keyword search and find what you are looking for quickly is key.

Nachteile:

My least favorite thing about this software is the text editing capabilities. You are really limited format-wise when you are trying to create posts.

A great resource tool

Kommentare: I have had a good experience to date with the Bloomfire platform. Information is easy to create, store, and share. It is very user friendly, and Bloomfire provides good support tools.

Vorteile:

Easy to create documents, and very intuitive.

Nachteile:

When creating a post there are limitations for font and colour options. More formatting tools within a post would be beneficial.

Improve User Experience

Kommentare: I've found that within internal and external users, the interface is not friendly. The first thing you see when logging is most recent or popular assets and it doesn't allow you to quickly to go what you're looking for unless you type in search the name of the asset.
There should be a better catalog, or category within the first page, allowing the users to easily look up and find what they're looking for, vs. spending time finding keywords.
