Vorteile:

Nachteile:

Act and old and reliable friend.

Kommentare: I have looked at other CRM packages and find they offer no great benefits.

Vorteile:

It is easy to understand and use. You can add fields on any screen and it's user friendly.

Nachteile:

Integration with exchange is unreliable. Support is spotty at best.

ACT cloud for Marketing

Kommentare: ACT is a solid program and has been working for us since 1999. The cloud based version is new for our company but one we are welcoming since we want to speed up the database process. The old desktop version has become super slow and time consuming with freezes and overall slowdowns navigating through the CRM.

Vorteile:

We have been using ACT for 19+ years. To make the switch to the cloud version just seemed logical. It has the basics features that we need and was simple to transfer over to the client.

Nachteile:

ACT does not have all the bells and whistles that we would like such as power dialers and automatic reporting.

Difficulties !!!

Kommentare: In the last two years I have accumulated a list of difficulties that I have experienced with ACT. Until two weeks ago there were 45 items on the list as well as screen grabs showing the error messages and bizarre things that have taken place. I finally discontinued using one ACT business services. I've had more than six sales people contact me in an effort to upgrade or whatever and each time i complained about problems. Only one person out of that group responded with a solution Warren Meredith. He instructed me to contact ACT Support. I very recently upgraded and contacted ACT Support and I am presently in the process of HOPEFULLY solving the problems. We'll see once I have finished.

Vorteile:

Act is a great program when it works. I have been using it for well over 25 years.

Nachteile:

After purchasing ACT from Costco 25 or more years ago the software ownership has changed multiple times. Each time the customer service has gotten worse and the program updates have gotten more expensive. Subcontractor customer service people have been really poor and unable to solve problems when contacted and in some cases made the problems worse. For example having to restart the program 11 times in one eight hour period of time because it crashed.... among many other problems

Over two decades with Act!

Kommentare: I've used this for over 20 years and it's helps me remember every contact that I've made. Now I have email folders that I need to refer to since I don't always have the time to reiterate what is in the emails into the Act! file.

Vorteile:

It organizes my contacts and the notes updates me quickly to what's happening with that account. Documents for each customer are also at my fingertips.

Nachteile:

It takes too long to load. I have to open it first at the beginning of my day so nothing else interferes with the time to load. (I just updated it with your customer service and it still takes longer than I'd like, FYI).

Feels like home

Kommentare: Loving it so far - feels like coming home.

Vorteile:

I used ACT! for nearly 20 years in my previous role and when I went freelance I really missed it but thought it was not affordable. I am now so busy I really needed to get organised and I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable it actually is. It only really needs to save me one hour a month to give me more than return on investment - and it did that on day 1!

Nachteile:

I made a silly error uploading and couldn't figure out how to undo so I shall be calling on the onboarding team for help.

Act is Better than Other PIMs

Kommentare: With Act, I always believed I was a step ahead of my competition.

Vorteile:

I have been using ACT since 1995. It has been a central part of my business. Act allows one to keep the essential data on contacts and has easy many methods for looking up customers or information that might be elusive when one has several thousand contacts..

Nachteile:

Over the years updates were often sketchy. Today those issues have been solved.

All in One CRM for Sales & Marketing Teams

Kommentare: Very good, ideal for storing contacts, opportunities and making use of grouping contacts for marketing emails - a nice function.

Vorteile:

Main features are easy to use such as adding companies and contacts. Lots of training videos available.

Nachteile:

Some features feel a bit clunky but this could be a system issue rather than the software itself.

Dependable and Easy

Kommentare: I have use ACT! since 2001. It has made a lot of improvements over the years. I would highly recommend the product! It does everything we need and more!

Vorteile:

I like the different sorting options. The mail merge is also a good tool for us.

Nachteile:

The synchronization feature does not work after 2:30 pm for us.

good CRM for the money

priced a little high, some minor bugs still in the product, differences between Web and local PC app

One person operation-great. Enterprise unknown.

Kommentare: Dismal-frustrating-complete waste of our team time watching videos that showed features only available to $$$$ pricing. I NEVER buy annual commitments on unknown software but in a moment of 'getting the job done' I did it here.

Vorteile:

Familiar from days gone past.

Nachteile:

The marketing is limited for larger-scale campaigns. To their credit, they did reach out and offer very well-crafted training.

To The Rescue once again!

Kommentare: I have been an ACT user for many years and as a contact manager and word processor it is at the core of our Wedding Photography business other than our photography tools.
As with any electronic program, for time to time there are hick-ups and in most cases a call to the technical support department fixes or corrects the issue. However, on occasion something more difficult to rectify occurs. In two such cases, on in early 2022, which pretty much shut us down and currently one less serious, but bothersome currently.
In the 1st situation, candidly we were very perplexed as none of the standard technical community, could aid in resolving the issue. My frustration was so high that I started contacting members of the ACT management team, up to including the [sensitive content hidden] and staff. Shortly thereafter I was contacted by members of that team and directed to one portion of the technical organization in The United Kingdom. They were aware of the issue and worked tirelessly to develop a work around for our Company. Awesome job, which I sang their praises about back up the management chain.
Currently, between a new laptop and an upgrade to my ACT system I was having an issue accessing my account in a timely manner. During that time frame and technicians tried to assist me, so even helped streamline other portions of the ACT system, but no relief in the issue at hand. Finally, I turned back to the team in The United Kingdom. Surprisingly my 1st contact remembered our situation and indicated that he would have someone investigate it, which was done expeditiously. After much research my technical contact determined that is issue was not that of the ACT software but probably that of another existing program that was interfering with ACT because of the transfer from my previous laptop to the present and to further assist provided a document for my support IT department to consider.
Once again, this organization went over and above, which based on my experience is their norm – another 5 Stars in my book – thanks again! Lance W Ek

My only comment is about a design change in 2022, but as indicated, with the help of this organization it was resolved.

Meda Int'l Review

Kommentare: Having used Act! in previous businesses as well as other solutions, Act! is probably the easier of solutions to use without having to tick endless boxes for information that would be surplus to our needs,

Vorteile:

Easy and simplicity of use that we've customised for our business.

Nachteile:

We possibly aren't maximising the use of our solution, but it does a great job for what we ant out of it.

My business would not survive without ACT!!!!!

ACT! Excellence

Vorteile:

It literally runs all aspects of my life seamlessly. The recent upgrade was assisted by your technician, [sensitive content hidden]. I have been resisting an upgrade for years (I think I was on 20 because I was concerned of a failure during the process. He was outstanding and to sum up my impression of him in succinctly: very Patient, very intelligent and very knowledgeable

ACT is AWESOME!

Kommentare: I my overall experience with ACT has been very good over the last 30+ years.

Vorteile:

I have been using ACT since early 1990's and is still my "Go To" for contact management.

Nachteile:

I wish the iPhone app would interact with the native app and not have to use a 3rd party interface.

ACT is a great product

Kommentare: Over the last 30+ years of using ACT I have been totally satisfied, and I have found nothing better.

Vorteile:

I have been using ACT for over 30 years, it is easy to use, comprehensive, works great either on my PC or with the Cloud. ACT's customer support is the best I have ever used.

Nachteile:

ACT Contact Management Software

Kommentare: Good overall, except for the times that it hangs when using it, and I have to close the application and start again.

Vorteile:

Easy to use for my purposes. I only use it to store contacts and create history files

Nachteile:

I have had many cases where the remote database would stop working with the cloud. Always fixed by ACT, but frustrating. Also, I repeatedly have situations where ACT hangs, and often I have to close it out and start again. This has probably happened over 50 times. When I call ACT for support, it gets resolved, but I never get a good answer why it is doing this.

UI Improvements

Kommentare: Great. I've been working with [sensitive content hidden] for the past few weeks and he's been extremely helpful. We are only a small organisation but he has taken care to guide me through the transition step by step. He couldn't have communicated

Vorteile:

Online features make it easy to access data.

Nachteile:

The UI could have some significant improvements. Immediate suggestions for the online version would be: - Include keyboard shortcuts - Ability to clear the search function with the click of a button - Improve layout editing more user friendly

20 year user

Kommentare: ACT has continually evolved and developed to help with contact management. I would not change for any other CRM

Vorteile:

ACT has provided our small business with a way to track and manage our candidates efficiently. 20 years of using the database is priceless

Nachteile:

Very little is a con, when you have an issue, you can suggest an idea or a 3rd party will pick it up

Great Customer Management System

Vorteile:

Customer contact history and email records.

Nachteile:

Occasional glitch in performance. Some minor performance errors that were largely corrected by support personnel.

Act!

Kommentare: ACT! is a near perfect solution. It's a pleasure to use.

Vorteile:

ACT! is the best CRM available and has stood the test of decades. No other CRM comes close. It's report structure is unmatched as is the customizable features. ALSO - exporting and backup are relatively easy to use. It has a very nice user-intuitive interface.

Nachteile:

ACT! is no longer available as a purchasable software but only as a subscription. Also the syncing of clients from email would be nice as well as better syncing between email client and ACT!
