Hat bei uns sämtliche internen Mails ersetzt

Kommentare: Insgesamt möchte ich Slack in meinem Arbeitsalltag nicht mehr missen. Die Software ist sehr schnell einsatzbereit, funktioniert auch mobil sehr gut, ist aber vergleichsweise teuer. Es gibt aber eine kostenfreie Version, die nicht alle Nachrichten speichert.

Vorteile:

Slack ist für uns das unverzichtbare interne Kommunikationstool, für alle Aufgaben im Alltag. Durch die vielen Verknüpfungen mit anderen Tools ist es gut integrierbar und läuft auf allen Geräten.

Nachteile:

Einziger Nachteil ist der vergleichsweise hohe Preis, und mit der Zeit auch der deutliche Lockin-Effekt.

Gutes Tool zur internen Kommunikation mit Kolleginnen und Kollegen

Kommentare: Ich arbeite gern mit Slack, da es sich als zuverlässiges Kommunikationstool herausgestellt hat. Die Einbindung weiterer Apps macht Slack vielseitig und stets erweiterbar.

Vorteile:

Slack ist ein zuverlässiger Partner in Sachen interner Kommunikation mit Kolleginnen und Kollegen. Das Teilen von Informationen, ein kurzer Anruf bei Kolleginnen und Kollegen oder das Anlegen von Gruppenchats und Channeln ist unproblematisch möglich.

Nachteile:

In größeren Organisationen mit viel Kommunikation kann Slack dazu neigen, unübersichtlich zu sein. Informationen müssen dann über die Suchfunktion herausgefunden werden, was mitunter aufwendig ist.

Super Programm um mit seinen Kollege zu kommunizieren

Vorteile:

Ich finde es gut wie schnell man mit allen in Kontakt ist. Das man Datein sich schicken kann. Gruppen erstellen kann und mal schnell eine Videotelefonie oder Konferenz machen kann

Nachteile:

Ich mag die Option Hubbel nicht, das verpasse ich immer schnell ein anruf oder Einladung, weil das nicht so schön klingel als wenn ich ein Slack anruf mache

Kommentare: Kann man geschäftlich nutzen, aber man ist nicht sicher ob der Adressat auch alle Nachrichten gelesen hat, die Funktion Lesebestätigung bei High Prio Nachrichten wäre hilfreich.

Vorteile:

Sehr schwer manchmal einen Thread zu finden, manchmal werden die Nachrichten übersehen.

Vorteile:

Slack ist ein einfaches Tool für die schnelle Kommunikation. Alle Nachrichten werden gebündelt und in einzelnen Projekten gespeichert, sodass gut darauf zurückgriffen werden kann.

Nachteile:

Nachrichten, welche älter als 90 Tage sind werden nun seit kurzem ausgeblendet.

Verbesserungen nötig

Kommentare: Jüngste Anwendungswiedergabe stimmt nicht wie erwartet mit dem Windows-Anwendungskunden überein. Funktioniert immer noch nicht wie erwartet. Anwendungsspeicher gereinigt - kein sicheres Ergebnis.

Vorteile:

Die App hat alle Anzeichen, dass sie zu diesem Zeitpunkt gut funktioniert. Anwendung funktioniert einwandfrei bis vor einer Woche.

Nachteile:

Derzeit gibt es Probleme, bei denen ich Fotos versendet habe, und sie werden nicht übertragen, so dass ein nicht initiierter Zwischenruf zurückbleibt. Wie dem auch sei, es werden die nicht gesendeten Bilder nicht gelöscht, um sie verschwinden zu lassen.

Top für Startups

Mit Slack hat es mir die Kommunikationen zwischen verschiedenen Personen erleichtert und einen unbegrenzten Datentausch ermöglicht.

Nachteile:

Nach 2 Jahren Nutzung wurde ich benachrichtigt, dass die Daten nicht mehr gespeichert werden können und ich musste eine alternative Software finden.

Best collaboration tool to use between your teams

Kommentare: Before being compelled to work from home in a distributed and asynchronous environment, I didn't fully appreciate the quality of Slack. However, when faced with the challenge of working remotely (and juggling kids' schooling from home), Slack has proven to be a valuable upgrade from traditional emails and other online collaborative tools. With Slack, I have access to a one-stop-shop that allows me to receive notifications for Google Doc edits and respond to them directly from the platform, saving me a significant amount of time.

Slack offers a straightforward and effective interface for inter-team communication, elevating communication beyond emails and Facebook messages through a secure platform that caters to teams. Among Slack's standout features are its channel setup, which enables the creation of focused spaces centered on specific topics, and the ability to reply to individual messages within a thread. Channels help maintain my team's focus and keep them on track, while also providing a casual space for informal conversations (via our "Random" channel). Meanwhile, threads help prevent channels from becoming an overwhelming, jumbled mess. Additionally, Slack's ability to react to messages with emojis, share messages with specific individuals, create private or public channels, and send group messages to team members creates an environment that encourages collaboration and communication in a way that feels organic and intuitive. In summary, Slack's platform provides an uncomplicated, natural space for teams to work together and communicate effectively, replacing traditional text threads, Facebook messages, and emails.

Nachteile:

While Slack provides a centralized tool for online collaborative work, the learning curve can be somewhat challenging due to the non-intuitive nature of shortcuts and integrations. Additionally, subscribing to multiple Slack channels can be overwhelming and result in an excess of notifications that may prove distracting. However, this is the trade-off of having a singular platform for all collaborative work.

Not bad for small groups, horrible for large groups, free plan is now crippled

Kommentare: Only using Slack with external teams that use them. We no longer use it with our internal teams. Their confusing threaded views is really their downfall. There are other alternatives out there that do a much better job.

Vorteile:

Slack has a very nice, slick interface. When the workspace is not busy, it's very easy to see all the messages and figure out what's relevant for you. Very easy to setup new workspaces and channels. And basically, the key reason why we use Slack is because almost everyone is using it.

Nachteile:

Their free plan is now crippled. Only 90 days of retention. On a number of free workspaces, I wanted to refer back to some info which I no longer can find. Very frustrating. Slack also implements threaded conversations as a "tack-on" feature. Not everyone uses this feature and it just causes more and more user confusion, especially in large workspaces where many messages are mixed into the main channel as well as in threads. Their threads/mentions&reactions views which are supposed to help you filter out things not relevant for you are huge messes. Their pricing plans are also very expensive.

A must for every business

It’s fine but prefer Zoom chat

I found zoom chat to be more useable, simpler interface and works alongside meeting functions better. I think slack is probably catered more towards the more technologically advanced users.

I will never slack off as long as I'm using Slack!

Kommentare: My company began using this when we started growing. We were able to collaborate not only with each other but with other lending institutions we worked with. We also had an assistant come on board and it allowed us to connect with her daily even though she was in another country.

Vorteile:

The messaging, collaboration, file sharing, and private messaging. Also the fact that so many people use it, it's so easy to collaborate.

Nachteile:

Nothing really. I had no complaints about the app. It's like they used the best features of any instant messaging app I ever used.

Great communcation software

Kommentare: Like I had said I really love Slack. It has made it easier to communtate with my team, share information and it actually brought us together!

Vorteile:

I have used Slack for years now and was so excited when we started using it at my current workplace. We had tried to use other software but it never really took off as Slack has. It is super easy to use and has many different client versions. Everyone in the office can decide how they want to use it which is a hugeeeee plus! We use the free version which really is great for us. There is a limit to how many message Slack stores but this hasn't been a huge issue. You are able to create different channels which has been a great way to share important information that we have to reference and keep it organized. Slack has also brought our team together and gave us a new modern way to communicate. Also what I love is that you can really customize notifications,

Nachteile:

I don't like how with my particular phone notifations can be delayed. It has caused a few issues where I have gotten messages 30 to 40 minutes later despite having good either wifi or ceular service. Otherwise no real issues with Slack!

Great Business Continuity Tool

Kommentare: It has been a great experience using Slack. It is a valuable tool and I really like how we are able to collaborate as a team and make it seem as if we are still working together in the office.

Vorteile:

1:1 Chat - Ability to have 1:1 conversations with team members. Useful when working on a project together. Team Collaboration - Ability to bring a project together and share with a team. Group Chat - Ability to have one area/space where the team collaborates, shares ideas, and works together to communicate issues. Bot Integration - Ability to integrate various tools and bots that can make the day easier. Ability to integrate to web conferencing tools like Zoom, Webex, Teams. Ability to create to-do lists, track time, etc. Manage Team - Great way to manage a team who is working remotely in various geographic locations.

Nachteile:

Still trying to work around our SSO integration - This is mostly an internal bug we are trying to work on, but it would be nice if we can make Slack to work for a single sign on experience.
