Smooth operation!

Vorteile:

Intergration is a quick process with great customer support.

Nachteile:

I had to use the help desk for sick/vacation/PTO. Most parts of Patriot Software are intuitive, and you can explore till you find them, except a PTO adjustment.

Great Software/ Awesome Support

Kommentare: I can't recommend this software enough! And when they say 30 day free trial they mean it. No hassles every!

Vorteile:

I love the simplicity of the system and the personal help when I have an issue. The support staff are not just people hired to answer the phones but people with bookkeeping experience who are proficient with the program.

Nachteile:

The only thing I miss from using other platforms is the bank account layout as a register, but I am adjusting to seeing the general ledger for that.

Great Customer Service

Kommentare: With every program, it takes a bit to figure out the flow. I am still struggling with the reports and reconciling my bank statements, which was never a problem before. Fortunately, the customer service is amazing. I've spent many hours with them.

Vorteile:

The customer service is incredibly helpful.

Nachteile:

The software is challenging if you do not have an accounting background.

Support representatives are helpful and easy to understand. Patriot answers all questions without waiting or being transferring around. The program is easy to adjust to when moving from a different product.

Nachteile:

Can't think of a thing. Patriot Accounting Easy to use

Kommentare: The big thing for me is real live US representatives. Patriot Accounting is top notch with that. The interface is also pretty simple and I feel confident that if I run into any issues (usually my fault) their live representatives will help me!

Vorteile:

U.S. Based. Private company, US based support with very clear English. Amazing live support so I learn that way. I can afford it and I feel I get a very high quality service.

Nachteile:

Some items won’t transfer from my American Express statement and it is a bit confusing how to add/remove items. Journal is a bit confusing. But the live help is amazing and I learn more each time I call.

Patriot Software Best Overall

Kommentare: Setup and getting started was easy and customer support was amazing. I ran parallel with QB Online, FreshBooks, and Patriot. QB has terrible offshore support, ads throughout the application, and slow and spotty system availability. FreshBooks has no account reconciliation feature, terrible support, one sided transaction entry, and as a result was an overall mess in the GL.

Vorteile:

Double entry accounting, transaction account suggestions from previous entries, account reconciliation, and invoice format.

Nachteile:

Inability to copy a JE or create a recurring JE, lack of dashboard metrics (net income vs last year, monthly revenue and expense trends, etc...), inability to add additional description to imported transactions without having to delete auto generated details, inability to mark transactions as billable

I Believe In The Company But Not The Product

Kommentare: Overall, my experience was positive but I cannot recommend the software due to the difficulty in making edits to journal entries or any errors that may have been made.

Vorteile:

Simple accounting software and the company mission and ethics align with my beliefs.

Nachteile:

The inability to reset or make edits to journal entries makes this software unusable. If you make a mistake then the mistake is set and you have no way to make any edits so your financial statements will be incorrect moving forward. You have to jump through a ton of hoops in order to correct any minor error which is the reason I cannot recommend this software to anyone, unfortunately.

Great product at an affordable rate

Kommentare: It has made my accounting much easier, and saved me a lot of time.

Vorteile:

It was very easy for me to use right away. Any questions I had were responded to extremely quickly.

Nachteile:

I would like to have the ability to customize expense categories to tailor it to my specific business.

Patriot Software- recommendation

Kommentare: I have had one experience and that concerned L&I in WA. As far as I know, no other taxes are taken

Nothing as it doesn’t seem to be working with me and taxes

Nachteile:

It’s not applicable even though I asked multiple times when I signed up

Customer Service Is Outstanding

Kommentare: My experience has been great and the transition from the accouting software I had used before was much easier than I expected. Being in the advertising industry myself for more than 50 years, I always measure a company by how well they live up to their claims and slogans. Patriot Software certainly lives up to its tagline, "keep your time and money." But what stands out to me even more is the outstanding customer service demonstrated by every member of your staff with whom I've had communication. Sadly, in today's market place this type of customer service seems to be rare. Because of your great customer service, I would go as far as to call Patriot Software "the Chick-Fil-A of accoutning and payroll software."

Vorteile:

In switching from another accounting software program to Patriot Software, naturally there was a learning curve involved to get familiar with Patriot. Several calls to customer service were answered or returned right away, and the staff was always helpful, patient, and totally professional. My only regret is that I did not make the switch to Patriot Software even sooner, just for the outstanding customer service.

Nachteile:

At first the "extra step" of printing checks - downloading the form as a pdf file - was a little hard to get used to. But now that I understand the process better, and can see that this could be an important security feature, it's not really an issue.

Patriot Makes Accounting Easy

Kommentare: Patriot is so much easier to use then QuickBooks and much more affordable to. It doesn't double things or add things that shouldn't be there. It is easy and straightforward, and the staff helps with any questions.

Vorteile:

The software is easy to use, if you make a mistake, it's easy to fix or correct. I am able to add multiple bank accounts so I can track my transfers easily. The staff is very helpful whether I call in or as for help over the messaging platform they are always quick to answer my questions and email me the conversations so I can refer back if I need to.

Nachteile:

The only real issue I had is it kicked my bank off once and I had to re-record everything. It worked out ok though. I just hope it never does that again.

Perfect solution for small to midsized businesss

Kommentare: It may sound like I work for the company but honestly if anyone were yo ask me what is the best overall experience I have with software or a subscription service of this type I think patriot would be it based on the ease of use and amazing product support.

Vorteile:

The system is super easy to use and understand and works as it should. Not buggy like some other big name accounting programs. Also if I need support I can honestly say the support team is is ready, willing and qualified to help and they will take the time needed to be sure my issue is handled. To the point that I am amazed at the time and care they take.

Nachteile:

Every so often there is something I have trouble finding ( but support helps me!) part of that may be because I am not an accountant. But even those issues are rare and they are always adding nice features to make my job easier.

Basic Accounting Software, but it gets the job done

Kommentare: Very good. The customer service is superb. They answer the phone and are very helpful. If they don't know an answer, they find it out and get back to you. Email support is good too. The software is pretty basic compared to Quickbooks but if you don't need all those fancy features as I don't, it gets the job done. And the price is much better than Quickbooks. They have a bank reconciliation module, but I don't use it. Highly recommend for small businesses.

Vorteile:

Started out on the package almost 5 years ago. It was pretty basic then, Patriot has added a steady stream of features to it each year. We don't use a lot of them however. I like the dashboard. If you are using the Payroll module, it's totally seamless integration. No frills accounting but that's ok because that's all I need.

Nachteile:

Can't put a check number on a Quick Pay when you are running it. I use manual checks and there's not way to do that, except by putting the check number in the notes. If you are using printed check stock, that would not be an issue. Reporting is a little thin, but it gets the job done. The Financial statement is a little weird how it calculates owner's equity but my accountant reviewed the numbers and said it is correct. If you have accrued liabilities, They use "modified cash basis" which it also odd vs. Cash Basis. No Statement available to send out to customers.

Patriot software review

Nachteile:

It didn’t work some newer AP applications

The software that lets me run my business without interfering with my clinic duties.

Kommentare: I’m an optometrist with basic business skills. Patriot Accounting gives me the tools I need without taking away a lot of time from my clinical responsibilities.

Vorteile:

I can adjust the amount I need to cover payroll as often as needed. Adding new employees is a snap

Nachteile:

Sometimes it’s hard to produce the reports I need such as for Workers Comp.

Simple and Straightforward Accounting Software

Kommentare: Patriot saves me a lot of time because I'm complete my accounting and billing tasks quicker than on our old system.

Vorteile:

The migration process to Patriot was very simple and straightforward. The reports are great and some we are able to customize to meet our needs through filters. Recording payments is simple, and running payroll is a breeze.

Nachteile:

I don't like that I have to open each invoice individually to print them. I would like the ability to select multiple invoices to open at the same time to print. When we invoice our clients, we typically do them in batches and printing each one separately is time consuming.

Gets It Done With No Fuss Accounting Tool

Vorteile:

It was a straightforward and easy to use tool to manage payroll. We didn't need a lot of bells and whistles, just something simple that could allow our teachers to see their bi-weekly paystubs and tax reporting at the end of the year.

Nachteile:

Nothing, the tool helped a small business like ours provide the Accounting capabilities we needed.

Great accounting software

Vorteile:

I switched a year ago to Patriot Accounting. It has been very simple to use and the interface is fairly basic. It was easy to learn which was great! It does everything I need from an accounting program!

Nachteile:

There is nothing I dislike about Patriot Accounting

Powerful

Kommentare: My overall experience is good because I didn't encounter any major issues. And even if I had, it's always resolved ASAP.

Vorteile:

I can do a lot of things with this software and not just simply payroll itself. It is also very easy to use. I can use the free expert support wherein the chat support aren't robots. I call, chat and email them and they really solve problems. It's mobile friendly too. It doesn't take up too much space on my phone. The design gives me access to my account anywhere and there is no hassle in downloading and updating. These are the things I like most based on experience and it's overall helpful to me.

Nachteile:

What I like least about this software is the optional 1099 e-filing because it has nominal fees. It's nice to have this feature though and it's good because it's optional. I'm just sharing that it's my least favorite feature. This feature is digital and I can file forms with it in just a few clicks.

Patriot- Best of Best choice

Kommentare: Mainly, I create invoice, generates reports and maintain payroll within my office.

Vorteile:

Well all the module and system is well maintained but also I like mostly payroll creation and generation process.

Nachteile:

I use this software daily till date i haven’t found any technical errors.
