Digital Asset Management

Kommentare: We have been using Asset Panda since 2021 and have all our assets here for monitoring the usage in different teams, levels, departments and also work on optimized retrofitting of our retiring assets.

Vorteile:

The way I can store and manage my asset inventory in a systematic format with serialized and sequential numbering format.

Nachteile:

the restrictions to not create certain type of workflows or hierarchy to see high level asset view and then break it down to each individual asset

Asset Panda has allowed us to centralize and track all IT assets

Kommentare: The college has had a great experience with AP since we started using it, it has allowed my team to manage and track inventory of all IT assets that we hand out to our employees. It provides reporting that assists with our yearly refresh of laptops.

GUI interface ease of use, accessible across multiple locations as it is web-based. Easy to maintain and update assets and customize fields.

Nachteile:

We do not have any cons with the product, we find it to suit our environment and needs perfectly.

Tool to track your rented equipment and collect payments

Kommentare: This tool also helps track and do routine maintenance on the laptops/computer and printers which is critical when we are renting the devices to our tenants.

Vorteile:

We use this tool to track IT equipment rented out in our flex offices to tenants who use the space on temp and long-term basis.

Nachteile:

We have been using it for a short time in that we found collecting rentals for equipment is easy, but we are still trying to integrate it into our property management tool. This will ease our tenants to make payments on one platform.

Suitable for diverse inventories!

Kommentare: I helped a friend of mine choose this product for her company. So, basically, she told me that she had an incredibly diverse inventory and the fields for one asset couldn't relate to that of another. There were many other problems that she was facing. However, after implementing the use of Asset Panda, things became a lot easier. She told me that there was a bit of an initial learning curve, but she felt very content and accomplished when she realized she built everything without an expensive developer or purchasing any hardware. Asset Panda may be expensive to implement but it is certainly worthwhile. The return on investment could easily trump your initial investment in no time. Sadly, for me, this software cannot be applied to my work environment or in any of my private side businesses. But if there ever is a need for it, I wouldn't think twice about using it. And judging by the feedback I got after referring it once, I am 10 times more likely to do it again!

You even don't need to waste time on purchasing expensive licenses or hardware. 5) Cloud-Based: All data is saved on the cloud and can be accessed from anywhere and at anytime with your credentials.

Nachteile:

1) Sessions Time-Out: Okay, in my opinion, the most annoying part about Asset Panda is that its' session timeouts are way too fast. If the time-out setting on the website could be increased, that would be amazing! 2) Barcode Scanner: I feel that the bar code scanner on mobile devices can be improved a bit.

Kommentare: My overall experience with app/software/SAAS can be summed in the follwing points: A. The given app/software/SAAS has been solving the following business problems :
- inventory storage
- solved wasteful write-off of assets
- provides detailed lsit of assets assigned to the user
- aids in hardware refresh
- provides straight line depreciation
B. i have been able to realize the following benefits with the help of the given app/software/SAAS :
- ability to put serial number on all equipments
- saved lot of money by asset tracking
- put all assets in its place
- allows to get back assets from users leaving the country
- adding of multiple categories.

Vorteile:

i found the following features as most impactful: - asset tracking -asset organisation - asset location finding using GPS - anywhere tracking based on cloud. - assets marked using e-signature Yes the product is quite easy to use for: - cloud based application - mobile based asset tracking - uploading pictures, documents and quotes of an asset - tracking and adding of non-depreciable assets - Yes i was successfully able to implement the integration of the app/software/SAAS with my existing business processes quite smoothly and easily as i could set it up with a little self-help, effort, and online training guides..

Nachteile:

I found the following features that were either missing or could be improved: - search function could be improved - confusing security sign in - configuration of images - mobile bar-coded scanner I found the following features or aspects of the product that are difficult to use: - impossible to know double posting of assets - difficult to setup users - organisation of images gets difficult - problematic setup of SSO - time-out settings No, the integration of the app/software/SAAS with my existing business processes not so much difficult as i could set it up with a little self-help, effort, and online training guides.

Great value

Kommentare: Overall, we are very happy with Asset Panda, and we could not manage many aspects of our IT responsibilities, efficiently without it. We use it not only for hardware/software asset tracking/management, but also for warranty management, shipping logistics, and employee on-/off-boarding management. We have automated notifications and reporting to help us take action when needed or simply provide a custom snapshot of anything we want.

Vorteile:

I like the ease of use and the myriad of customization options. The reports (once properly configured) are extremely useful in getting a quick overview of the various tracked components. I also like the notifications that can be created for literally anything. Finally, the Work Order option is great for managing shipment logistics.

Nachteile:

Some of the menus seem counter-intuitive and require more clicks than necessary, in my opinion. I miss the 'Save and Exit' option on some of the screens that used to have it. Also, the Work Order flow/actions took a while to get configured correctly. I wish some of it would be more intuitive. Perhaps some wizard style setup option with some basic workflow scenarios could be added which could be further customized by the user?

Versatile Asset Management System

Kommentare: Overall experience with this software has been wonderful. I know we don't use all the features we could from this platform so I know there is room to grow with it as well.

Vorteile:

We have found a few very impactful features of this software. First, the flexibility of customization. When we realize we need to track some new data point or change how we deploy equipment, we can do so on the fly. Second, the mobile app. Having a optimized mobile app that our techs can access on their phone instead of getting out their laptop to log into a site is immensely helpful. Third, "automated" changes that can be done by using the "Actions" feature. I can have a couple quick input points and at the touch of a "save" button, numerous fields and data points can be updated. This is so efficient rather than changing these fields manually

Nachteile:

A couple things that would be nice to have changed.... We have found the need to have a field that can be added to rather than only over-written during an "Action". Basically a running history of input points (Ex. every user that has been assigned to a device). Running a history report isn't always convenient and applicable to all potential users. Also while chat support is great when you need help, but I'd really like someone to speak with directly sometimes. Conveying your issue over chat is sometimes very clunky and time consuming.

Asset Panda

Kommentare: As mentioned before, being able to keep track of our vehicles and assets (equipment, electronics) etc has been beneficial.

Vorteile:

Reserving, checking in/out of vehicles and assets. As long as our staff remembers to use these features it's a good way to know what is available and what is not and keeping track of them. For most people it would probably be an easy software to learn, but I am not computer saavy so it was challenging for me, however I understand the basics which works fine.

Nachteile:

I think there should be some default settings so that the set up/transition is easier. Being able to speak to a live person on the spot for help is sometimes more helpful that online chat.

Excellent app to keep your assets in check

Kommentare: Asset panda has helped us to see and manage the big picture of all our fixed assets in the company. It gave us a powerful report of what we have, what needs repair/replacement, what is lacking... etc. The barcode feature via the use of the mobile app makes life easy for the auditors, and the report and dashboard is intuitive and friendly enough even for the management team.

Vorteile:

We moved from an internally (Intranet) developed Asset management tool to this full-featured, Cloud-based solution. And we love every bit of it! Easy cataloging of all our company assets with a user-friendly software that any of our staff can access. First, the use of the cloud makes it accessible from anywhere and anytime. We hardly noticed any downtimes that affected our operations. Accessible also via our mobile devices, we can easily create barcodes, and scan it for easy tracking and update of records. I am rarely impressed with the customer support, but hats off to Asset Panda team. Their training and on-call support has been fast, efficient, and polite. The reporting tool is powerful. It can churn out all our records into a well formatted and context relevant reporting format.

Nachteile:

Mobile app works when connected to the cloud, but it does not offer offline mode (with sync function for a later time). This would have been nice for areas where we had to scan assets on the basement or in the field where we didn't have connectivity.

It's a powerful tool for asset management and Project control

Kommentare: This system has helped us in asset tracking, project management, importation status monitoring , API/ISO qualification...... We are still exploring for more we can do with this powerful platform.

Vorteile:

1) The connection between groups 2) The capability to build your own actions. It's a platform with such strong user customization capability. 3) It's very powerful to trace equipment with unique serial number.

Nachteile:

1) It's a little difficult in management of consumable items which have high volume and without serial number; 2) The format of the reporting is a little bit inflexible. However, it is be strengthened by exporting the data and create reports using Power Bi or similar.

Panda - Array Marketing

Kommentare: Its a good system, simple to understand for the majority of users. The only thing that frustrates them is that they cannot select various items from different brands in the same request. They either need to write down all the barcodes and then type them in the group scan and request. This is a long process. T

Vorteile:

The user interface is simple to a navigate. I like the fact of having an image for every product.

Nachteile:

The inability to select many products at the same time from different brands. It would be good to have like a "shopping cart" and keep adding products from different brands or the same list (when its very long) so when we finish the search we can review the list of selected products and then check out.

Asset Panda Check

Kommentare: This helps us figure out the tax cost nicely for each county we do business in here-the [SENSITIVE CONTENT] thinks the software is pretty good and that is who decides what we use. The importing of old data went pretty smooth.

Vorteile:

Fairly easy to use once I learned the details-keeps a nice track of the assets-not many glitches works pretty smooth for the most part

Nachteile:

Adding new groups and categories is really weird-takes a while to figure that out
