Inexpensive software and perfect for kids in school.
For example, if students press a wrong answer by mistake while playing the game, they are not able to go back and change it before the time is up.

Didactic and easy to use
It is a very well built software, which allows you to easily create content for any level of learning and present it in an easy and didactic way, which can be understood by any user, without the need for prior knowledge. In addition, the software allows you to create content from the beginning, making the learning curve short.
Integration with other products can be a bit tricky, but it's a minor detail that can be quickly and easily overcome. In addition, the software requires a good internet quality for proper operation.
Best for learning
Kommentare: I first tried this app in school when we had a test and we basically used this app for studying and reviewing and tbh after that I always use this software for learning especially when I am still in high school. I mean one of my fav learning style.
I love this software, the way you can teach students in a fun way.
I love this app especially growing up and going to school so I can’t find anything at all
After years of asking, Kahoot still doesn't "talk" to google classroom
Kommentare: Kahoot is a great way to build and even ensure engagement. Kahoot games are quite plainly a lot of fun both for hosts and players. Its a great way to gamify training or a classroom. So I still love Kahoot and I use it often but I could love it more if there were a way to align it with google classroom and if there was an efficient way to track performance.
I still love Kahoot despite missing features that would make me love it more. Kahoot is so easy to use and a great way to build engagement. There are so many games to choose from and if somethings not quite right, games can be very easily edited or even created. Games are so fun to play and even fun to host. Kahoot makes gamification easy for fun, interactive learning for all ages.
What kahoot is missing, which keeps me from loving it even more, is a way to track performance via google classroom or other educational management systems. Kahoot can be launched with google classroom, but then the data from the games isn't sent back to google classroom. So classroom talks to Kahoot, but for whatever reason Kahoot doesn't talk back to google. I reached out to Kahoot many times about this and I get the same answer that this is not a feature they are interested in providing. What a shame. What also happens often is players use hurtful and offensive and inappropriate nicknames. This is quite common in schools but can also happen in the workplace. As far as I know, there is no way to track this. Kahoot offers a friendly nickname generator to avoid this, but then there is no way to track performance. So essentially Kahoot which could be so powerful in assessment and training, is simply reduced to a really fun game or just basic enreichment. Again...What a shame.
Kommentare: Fun and easy to use app as well as an great way to engage the crew members as well as test their knowledge.
The test methods which are game-based are loved and fun-to-play by the team and was looked forward by.
Faced a few glitches such as question wasn't visible on the screen.
Awesome interactive web based learning platform
Kommentare: Kahoot allows teachers to easily assess student understanding and progress. The platform provides real-time feedback and analytics on student performance, which can help teachers identify areas of weakness and tailor their instruction accordingly.Kahoot can be used in a variety of settings, including in-person and virtual classrooms. The platform has features specifically designed for online learning, such as the ability to host virtual review sessions and share quizzes and polls through a variety of platforms.Kahoot is an affordable and user-friendly tool that is accessible to a wide range of users.
As a student, I have really enjoyed using Kahoot in my classes. It's such a fun and interactive way to review and learn new material. The games make the learning process so much more enjoyable and I find myself paying more attention in class because of it. The platform is also really easy to use and I love being able to see how I stack up against my classmates. One of the things I love about Kahoot is the ease of use. It only takes a few minutes to create a quiz or poll and the platform has a variety of question types to choose from, including multiple-choice, true/false, and open-ended responses. it is really good to use for presentations as well to get a poll or valuable input from the audience. Overall, Kahoot has been a great addition to my school experience and I highly recommend it to other students.Overall, I highly recommend Kahoot for any teacher looking to add some excitement to their lessons and make learning more interactive
While I generally enjoy using Kahoot in class, I find that the games can sometimes be a bit repetitive. It would be nice to have more variety in the types of games available. One issue I've had with Kahoot is that the timer for answering questions can be a bit too short, especially for more complex or open-ended questions. It would be helpful to have the option to adjust the timer length. While I appreciate the ability to compete against my classmates, I do wish there was a way to customize the leaderboard display. It can be a bit intimidating to see your name at the bottom of the list, and it would be nice to have the option to see how you're doing relative to your own personal best or to your study group. One feature that I think would be really helpful is the ability to save and reuse quizzes or polls. Currently, if I want to use a quiz again in the future, I have to recreate it from scratch. It would save a lot of time and effort if there was a way to save and reuse quizzes.
Best game-based learning platform!
Kommentare: Kahoot is game-based learning platform that helps in making learning engaging and fun for all levels of education. The best part about the platform is that one can customize and format the quizzes as per their requirement. The presentation of data is easy and no prior knowledge is required to set up these quizzes. Kahoot is the best way to build and ensure engagement. Without a doubt, the platform is user-friendly and an effective tool for educators and trainers. Not only that, it can be used in a variety of settings, including classrooms, meetings, and events. The bright colours, catchy music and reward system makes it different and more engaging than other such platforms.
All the pros are mentioned in the overall experience section.
Have not faced any difficulty as of yet.
Kahoot's fun Engagement
Kommentare: My overall experience in using Kahoot is amazing. We had fun with every interactive games or quizzes we conducted. It helps us engage with each other more closer by playing it altogether even though we are using our mobile apps anywhere in the world. it is convenient, & easy to use.
What I love the most about using Kahoot is the fun engagement & interaction. Real time data & live sharing are very easy to use & it makes us enjoy the software even better. It is very interactive, you can answer the quizzes or games together and know the result together. You can also customize your questions according to your taste or topic.
What I like the least about Kahoot is the mobile app. I think it needs a better improvement because sometimes it is hard to see the answers on a mobile screen. I recommend to work better with the app & to improve it.
Kahoot all the way!
Kommentare: The only thing about Kahoot that I don't like is that the free version's graphics are no longer accessible when creating a custom quiz. I don't see why the devs would delete the photos when GIFs still function just as well.
I appreciate the capability of the online quiz. Lockdowns over the past few months have necessitated remote work for my coworkers and me. In company-wide meetings, we use Kahoot every week to play amusing games with one another and win rewards. When working remotely, it's a fantastic method to build relationships with coworkers.
Sometimes it lags but it's all good, very understandable
so awesome, Kahoot!
Kommentare: It's a good application because I had a great experience
Kahoot! is a very educational software and interesting tool.je
I really have nothing to complain about!
Kahoot for staff meetings
Kommentare: Kahoot is a great tool for learning and engagement but the price unfortunately outweighs the benefit for our office.
We used Kahoot for years during staff meetings and training to maintain employee engagement during the meetings. It was easy for the staff to participate in the meeting using their cell phone.
The software became too expensive over the last few years and made it difficult to continue to subscribe to the service.
The Best Way To Teach Students: A Competition
Kommentare: Kahoot is one of the best tools teachers can have for their students. It not only works for young elementary schoolers but also with college students as well. It's simple design allows for users to easily access it while at the same time learning or reviewing something. Kahoot does need some improvements but as it stands, Kahoot could make a boring day in class a little more entertaining and engaging, especially if there were a prize towards the winners, which was basically the motives to all the middle-schoolers I helped teach for a day.
Kahoot has been a staple feature in many public schools throughout the past 6 years. Kahoot allows boring quizzes to become a fun competition against your peers and classmates. Although it has a very simple concept, it's bright colors, catchy music, and point system makes it seem more like you're on a game show rather than powering through a test that no one wanted to take. Since most people have some sort of device sitting in their pockets that connects to the internet, accessing Kahoot is as simple as going to the website and entering a code. Also allowing people to choose their own names is a fun way for people to express humor (although sometimes it can be an issue). Because so many teachers use Kahoot as a way to review what their students have learned, there are a variety of different topics and quizzes to choose from. You don't have to manually type and make your own Kahoot if your subject is somewhat commonly taught. And having such a massive library of quizzes ranging from "Name That Disney Princess" to "Name The Capitals of These States" allows for variation between subjects. So Kahoot can be a learning tool as well as a fun little break for students.
In all honesty, Kahoot does not have too much to improve upon. Its website is user friendly and straightforward. However, I do have some suggestions for improvements. My first would be to add more music or allow the choice of using a selection of songs that have the proper copyright claims or are copyright free. Although catchy, it can become old a little quicker if the same song is played for every quiz. My second would be to add more than just a quiz. One of my ideas was to have one student step up to the classroom smartboard/projector and have all the other students turn around or close their eyes. The student would then be given a word/words that relate to the subject. Once the student knows what their word/words are all the other students would turn around or open their eyes and the student upfront would have to draw whatever word/words they got. The drawing would be projected on the screen and the other students have to type whatever they think the answer is. The fastest correct answer gets the most points. I feel like Kahoot is a great idea but should have more content. Nevertheless, Kahoot is always going to be a great activity for anyone.
A Review of Kahoot! From a Perspective of an Education College Student in a University
Kommentare: Kahoot! is indeed one of the option for having an engaging activity for the students as this will awaken their drives to compete. However, interruption of internet connection might be a struggle using this software. Overall, I will still recommend it to my friends.
Kahoot! is an engaging and interactive website and application for the students because I think it stimulates something in theirselves to be competitive, since Kahoot! have this kind of feature that it is a quiz for the students yet in the end there is a winning top 3 who are able to andwer the questions correctly and the fastest. Also, another thing that I think that the students do not find Kahoot! boring is because of its colorful and creative which is also not too distracting for the students so that they can still focus on a specific activity being done in the Kahoot! Lastly, another favorite feature of the Kahoot! is its user friendly interface both for the teacher and the students. In my experience, I actually use this application in my demo teaching and my students are elementary grade 6 students; using thing application is actually an advantage since it is easy to use, thus I can give them a simple instruction which is in turn very time efficient since we all know that we need to manage time because each lesson in each subjects should only last for 1 hour.
Everything is actually good in Kahoot! however, there are times that both the teacher and students are having difficulty using this when there internet connection slow down. I remember a report that some students are able to see the questions and the answers very quickly while the others are still not able to see the options to answer even though the timer to submission of answers already started. So I think, relying on the Kahoot! itself as a reliable assessment should not be the only option because we cannot say that the top 1 of a certain activity in a kahoot is really the one who excel in a particular topic especially if we do not consider those students that can actually do the same thing yet they have no stable internet connection.
Great classroom interactivity booster
Kommentare: While Kahoot! may be one of those things that instructors might get tired of quickly, students almost always seem to enjoy using it--and there has been at least one academic study that confirms students never seem to get tired of the competition aspect of Kahoot! It almost always gets positive reviews in my classes, and so I will continue to rely on it as long as it remains free.
If you are looking for a way to liven up classroom discussions and participations, and you haven't given Kahoot! a try, you really do owe it to yourself to test it out. Students really seem to enjoy the competitive aspect of the system, and using their smartphones as "buzzers" to answer questions. The gameplay itself can be highly customized (they recently added a number of updates and new features, including new music choices to play while students are thinking); I have used Kahoot! to facilitate exam reviews, and colleagues have used it to run reinforcement "drills" for topics ranging from bivariate correlation to identifying bacteria.
Using your smartphone as an answering device takes some getting used to, as you have to match shapes (e.g., tap on a button with a circle to choose an answer marked with a circle) to choose your answer instead of a more "traditional" choice like A/B/C/D. Some instructors also don't care for the fact that students can choose their own username and anything goes, which can make it challenging to figure out who is responding/winning. There is also the tiniest learning curve when it comes to customization, but after a couple of uses, it's quite easy to configure.
Kahoot: The Interactive Quiz Game
Kommentare: Overall, Kahoot is a fresh way to conduct surveys and presentations and I think that it has a lot of potential. I highly recommend businesses to try out Kahoot and see how fun it is.
While most people associate Kahoot with school, Kahoot is a fun and interactive way to present information, even in a business setting. Kahoot is surprisingly versatile and can be used for research, business training etc. The simplicity of Kahoot is very appealing both for the creator and players. One of the best things is that the player do not require a Kahoot account; all they need is the game pin. Not only this, Kahoot can also collect open ended answers which can be very useful at times, especially when doing market research. The Pro version is great because it comes with templates, quick polls and puzzles. For business use, you can create a presentation with interactive questions sprinkled throughout, which really adds a fun level of interactivity to the presentation.
Occasionally, there can be issues if the internet connection is poor which is rather annoying as it can cause disconnections. Kahoot can also be somewhat limiting if you want to make more complicated questions because of the strict character limit.
The highlight of every class
Kommentare: While students feel like they are playing a game and compete with each other, Kahoot! brings great benefits for teachers as well. They can see which topics their students have already grasped and which topics they still struggle with. Since it’s anyonymous, it provides much better feedback than direct conversation. It’s great fun for everyone and the highlight of every class.
Kahoot! makes learning something feel like playing a game. Almost everyone can take part – given that they have a device and a stable internet connection, which might be a challenge in settings like large conferences. The UI is simple, friendly and fun. Question types range from simply yes/no questions to more complicated ones, where both questions and answers can be based on images. The latter one is very useful in a mathematical context. All in all, there is almost no scenario of classrom interaction that couldn’t be replicated with Kahoot!
There used to be one major issue that I had with Kahoot! It was that every player was able choose their own name. Depending on how mature the audience was, there were people who regularly saw this as an opportunity to troll and offend everyone by injecting slurs and insults. Kahoot! has responded to this issue and started to offer a nickname generator which automatically produces friendly names for everyone. I think that’s a great move and it should be the default setting for every game.
Kahoot: one of my favourite ways to learn, teach and have fun
Kommentare: To sum up, this software is a great way to have fun and play games, but it also fosters great learning opportunities. Apart from a few glitches in the system from time to time, this software is perfect. Moreover, the fact that Kahoot is not only a website, but is also an app, makes it perfect to take on the go and have on you at all times (which is such a helpful aspect).
The thing that I love most about this software is that users are able to create polls with different types of answers for free. I believe that it is a great way to enhance the learning process. A lot of my teachers in high school, as well as college, have used Kahoot as a way to keep us students engaged. It is a great asset to use in the method of interactive learning. Apart from using it in school, I have also used it to have fun with friends. I have created many quizzes that pertain to me and my friend group specifically which always leaves us having a good time. This leads me to the next thing that I absolutely love about this website/app: it is entirely customizable. I am able to create a quiz based on any topic I like. I also love that there is a search bar where I am able to look up any topic and find quizzes based on that topic (and these are all quizzes made by other users which I think is fantastic).
I think the thing that I like least about this software is that it does glitch from time to time. For example, when I am answering a quiz live and I have answered a question correctly and within the allocated time given, the system will tell me that I answered the question incorrectly. However, these glitches don't happen very often which is something I am very thankful for.
Easy Gamification Tool
Kommentare: Kahoot! is an excellent tool for making learning fun. It isn't the only tool of its type out there, but it gets the job done in an exciting fashion. It is definitely recommended for those who are unfamiliar with this type of tool (easy starting point for gamified learning), but there are other great, more creative options out there as well.
What I like most about Kahoot! is the engagement I get from my students. I use this tool as an entrance slip, a way to get students diving into the content the moment they walk in the door. As soon as students see the Kahoot! lobby on the screen, they dash to their seats and enter the game pin. It isn't flashy or complicated, but the competition style of the tool appeals to students. It is really nice to be able to review material at the end as well! My personal favorite feature, however, is the ability to duplicate and edit any existing "game"!
What I like least about the software is the dashboard for controlling and creating games. Until a user gets familiar with how to work the tool, it can look confusing and messy. There is an awful lot on the screen at one time, that is for sure. Fortunately, this issue is overcome with experience. It is also nice that this is behind the scenes, so it doesn't interfere with gameplay at all.
A lifesaver for the educating and assessing of learners and collegues.
Kommentare: My overall experience with kahoot has been invaluable while assessing learners prior knowledge and experience. The software is fun, inventive and engaging with everyone that uses it. The learners always enjoy doing a kahoot quiz, and is a big tick in the box when it comes to assessing and showing that you are testing learners for prior knowledge because advancing to further teaching outside of the quiz. The best forms of knowledge icebreakers I find can be easily solved with a basic quiz from kahoot, and the fact you can be up and running with pre-made quizzes around your chosen topic is so helpful and timely.
The fact this software is free and that it offers 'pro' and 'paid' features that are just not present in other types of quiz generation software. Its all web based so no downloading required, unless you use the app with learners. Incredibily easy to setup your own quiz and equally as useful in duplicating ready made quizzes by other teachers/mentors.
Sometimes the use of the colour/shapes to distinguish the answers chosen has been reportedly a bit confusing when the learners are trying to chose the answers and compete with each other for the best /fastest score. Its a minor observation but one that has come up a few times.
Engaging Review Game
Kommentare: Overall, Kahoot is a very easy review game and anyone can use it - even a substitute teacher! It’s such a compatible format! I like how it shows encouragement on the screen when students have “streaks” of correct answers, as well as when they get an answer incorrect. I like that the program can be played as an individual, or with teams. I also adore the “discover” tab that allows you to pick Kahoots that other people have created, and save and tweak them to use as you want. You can create your own quizzes to review material, or even as a fun get-to-know you activity. I like that you can duplicate others’ quizzes and favorite them to use as needed. It really is a great program for the education world. Did I mention that quizzes and games can be assigned and played during virtual teaching as well? Students can play from their homes. This really has it all!
I adore Kahoot! because it engages my students with reviewing material through a digital interactive platform. They love the concept of “racing” each other, and I like that they also have to option to share a device and work as a team on Kahoot!. The program also lets them pick team names, which they adore.
I don’t like that if a student accidentally logs out of Kahoot, they cannot rejoin the game like they can in other platforms.

Kahoot - Fast Paced Fun in the Classroom
Kommentare: Kahoot! allows you to review material in a fun and interactive way that works across learning platforms and helps connect virtual an in person learners.
My students love Kahoot! They yell and cheer when I announce a Kahoot! Kahoot! offers a fun and engaging way to involve all learners (in person and remote). Students don't even know that they are learning! It is easy to search available Kahoots or to make your own. Kahoot! also makes it easy to share lessons among users in your district. Kahoot! makes it easy to import image, video, and sound files to perk up your Kahoot!
For what it is, I do find it pricey. There are other game based programs that are cheaper, but I like Kahoot! the best.
Kahoot: A useful tool for teleworking
It has been a very good tool to implement in the training courses of the new entrants of my company, I consider that I can measure their skills in real time and based on that select the applicants that show more aptitudes for certain jobs than others.
Therefore, I consider it a very useful and dynamic complement to test the knowledge of the selected people.
The first time I used this tool was thanks to the recommendation of a third party and I was delighted with its functionality and dynamism. It is very helpful in getting your meeting audience to actively listen and contribute in a meaningful way. If you are a teacher it is quite easy to implement this software in your classes, since it helps your students to have more retention and have fun.
I think it could be more intuitive for new users as it requires a bit of practice but it is not a big deal. Maybe a more detailed walkthrough about the product functions could be added so that the user has the full knowledge of the secondary tools they can use to achieve a complete experience. I also think it could be very useful to have the questions implemented in the kahoot reflected on the screen of each meeting attendee/student as the dependency on certain virtual meeting software can become cumbersome.
Kommentare: My experience and the experience of my teachers who tried Kahoot has been very positive. The children really love the program, it is easy to get them into a secure setting with a code and the multiple choice format and the speed of the game really keeps them focused and having a great time. If you like fast paced, this is the program to use especially with middle school. The younger children below grade 4 were quickly frustrated as they take longer to process the questions and responses. The older children could not have enjoyed this more.
The students can not get enough of this program. We have it installed on the iPads and the children beg to compete with each other and don't even realize they are reviewing their classwork! The excitement in the classroom is above and beyond what I experienced at their ages. Easy to use, a wealth of pre-made Kahoots to choose from, or make up your own and save for later, this program is a program to experience. The children suggested Kahoots be used as quizzes.
I never had enough time to sit and make up my own Kahoots. With the daily routine of in class instruction I needed a lot of time to compose and save my work which I did not always have. Younger children below grade 4 could become frustrated with the speed of the game.
Kahoot-A Necessary Tool in the Primary Classroom
Kommentare: If you’re looking to engage students while practicing or reviewing content, Kahoot is it! The gamified point system is fantastic. My kiddos love the little fire emoji or message that so and so is on a streak!
As an elementary teacher, I’ve been using Kahoot with students for at least 5 years. For me, it is an incredible tool to use in the classroom to boost student engagement. I find the website very easy to navigate. I am always able to find just what I’m looking for within minutes. If I can’t find a Kahoot that fits my needs, I can easily tweak an existing one or create my own. I love the collaboration with companies to provide engaging content, like the Disney Kahoots! I primarily use Kahoot to informally assess student understanding of topics, and I frequent use it as a review tool. Students love Kahoot! They love the point system and the scoreboard. Some of my students even create their own Kahoots to share with one another during recess. I love that a basic account is free, yet also appreciate that a paid plan is affordable. I would definitely consider using Kahoot as an engagement platform when presenting to or teaching adults as well!
Honestly, I can’t even think of an area in which Kahoot could improve. I will say that over the years I’ve had some students experience glitching on the site or app that ended up freezing their device and thus preventing them from moving forward in our Kahoots. This is rare though and I trust Kahoot is actively working to identify and fix these bugs!
