It's exactly what we needed!

Kommentare: As the administrator for PTO and Payroll, this software has really made my life easier. It's so easy to track everyone's PTO - and to have multiple policies! We had to grandfather a few employees on the older PTO plan when the company moved to accrual, and it was extremely easy to do so. The employees are able to visually see when they've taken off in the past, in case they couldn't remember. All in all, very happy!

Vorteile:

I liked that the software itself was very easy to learn for the administrator and user side. There are several reporting functionalities as well. If there was anything I had a question about, or if there was anything additionally needed from the software, the support team was always very willing to help accomplish those tasks!

Nachteile:

It only recorded in half hour increments. I've had a few employees inquire about 15 minute increments, but this isn't a huge problem.

Excellent PTO tracking tool to supplement ADP

Vorteile:

Employee can see the remaining PTO balance. This make it easy for employees to make future PTO plan. Before B4T, we needed to manually calculator for remaining PTO for employees' future vacation plan. This manual procedure was prone to errors. By introducing B4T, we significantly reduced such manual procedure and eliminated errors.

Nachteile:

Only one approval person designated to one employee.

Streamlined PTO Process

Kommentare: Built for Teams has been great! You can't go wrong choosing it.

Vorteile:

Built for Teams has helped our Organization efficiently process and track PTO. There are no more lost PTO paper requests. Employees can easily request PTO and the request goes directly to their manager to approve or deny. At any given time, employees can see how many hours they have remaining for PTO. Organizationally, every staff member can see who is off work on a particular day, there's no more wondering if someone is working or not. From a HR perspective, we can easily track PTO hours used and remaining for each employee. Built for Teams is user friendly and intuitive to use. The couple of times I have had questions, Customer Service has quickly been there to solve the issue for.

Nachteile:

I love everything about Built for Teams. As the person initially setting up Built for Teams, it was time consuming. However, that is to be expected with any new application. It was not difficult, just tedious to get everything set-up correctly. Once it was set-up, it has been running like a well oiled machine.

Trouble canceling approved time off. Also, had some issues after the first year with approvals all of a sudden going to the wrong approver.

Easy to use!

Kommentare: Overall, we love Built for Teams, it's easy for everyone to use whether they are employees or managers.

Vorteile:

We love Built For Teams, it helps us track our team's personal information and salaries. We are easily able to share payroll stubs and track PTO with setup alerts for all applicable managers.

Nachteile:

We have unlimited PTO but still need people to submit for requests when taking off. We have not quite figured out how to have unlimited PTO without just updating the numbers constantly.

Great features, easy to use, and great customer service

Kommentare: Overall it's been a great experience! Easy to use, easy to roll out, easy to set up logins, and, when we've ever needed help we've received quick responses from support. [sensitvie content hidden] is someone who has helped in the past and she was great!

I can't think of anything that I don't like.

Community Capital Management

Kommentare: Overall I'm very happy and enjoy having this product.

Vorteile:

Built for Teams is very user friendly and organized.

Nachteile:

The Built for Teams calendar sometimes causes issues when syncing with Microsoft Outlook.

It is easy for employees to request for Paid Time Off. they just log in and put in their request.

Nachteile:

I have not ran into and issues. It has all been great.

Easy Managing of Employee Vacations and Time Off.

Kommentare: As a small business it is challenging when people are out of the office. Before BFT we utilized Outlook to manage vacations and other out of office items. The problems was that anyone could edit the calendar so we had no idea if the time off was approved by management or not. We also had no easy way to track the total time off an employee was taking. With BFT all employees must make requests to management. Management can view the amount of time they already took off and decide to approve or deny the request. This ensures that employees do not take more time off then they are allowed.

Vorteile:

When an employee requests time off for various reasons they can easily send a request using the BFT application on their desktop. The request shows up in my inbox and I can approve or deny with one click. Before I approve it however the request shows any already approved vacation conflicts. The online calendar syncs with Outlook so I can see at a glance upcoming vacations. I also like that you can add additional categories other than Vacation. This gives the employee options on how to use their allotted time.

Nachteile:

At the moment I have not found any issues with the software.

Great tool for startups keeping track of important HR info

Kommentare: The customer service is great and the overall value of the software is fantastic.

Vorteile:

Excellent management of time off requests Calendar is wonderful for shared items Perfect place to store key HR info on each TM Recruiting system is good and getting better

Nachteile:

Some of the interfaces still need some tweaks. Nothing major, but some catching up. The flow of the system could be better. Again, not major, but could use upgrading.

Useful and Affordable

Kommentare: This program is excellent for our small company as we don't have a budget that allows for paying our HR vendor to track PTO. It's super easy to use, easy to make corrections or adjustments to, and we never have complaints from staff on it.

Vorteile:

This program is easy to use. We have a wide range of technical skill on our team and even the less talented staff find this easy to learn and use.

Nachteile:

One feature that would be helpful is to be able to make requests into the next year and pull the PTO from the correct bucket. We have carry-over time (from the previous year) that expires in the current year, and then the current year time that will roll over into the carry-over bucket, and should be used first. So if someone wants to take time off in January of next year, we have to wait until January to request it. Also not sure if this program automatically clears out carry-over that expires and replaces it with current year time that is left over.

Great Tool

Kommentare: We use this to track all of our PTO. We have multiple categories we allow our employees to use, and BFT accommodates all of them, which I haven't found in other software.

Vorteile:

My favorite aspect of BFT is its ease of use. From an admin perspective, it's easy to set up accounts and make changes, and our employees never ask questions about how to do something.

Nachteile:

I think it would be convenient to allow employees to cancel their requests.

Built for Teams makes office scheduling a breeze

Vorteile:

Very easy to see when someone in the office is already scheduled off and is also very easy to schedule time off

Nachteile:

There are limits. Like if you need to leave for the day at 3:15, you have to select either 3 or 3:30. Also we work 7 1/2 hour days so if I schedule off 1/2 a day, it doesn't always calculate the right amount of time out.

It is user friendly and allows me to view the calendar in a way that makes things simple for our company.

Nachteile:

It doesnt connect to my payroll system. That would be neat if it could.

Kommentare: Overall we are satisfied. I think we used to be able to pull a report on terminated employees but that's not an option anymore. It would be useful. Also we find it hard to keep track of employees rolling over PTO year after year (eligible for up to 3 days per year, up to 10 days) - it's just confusing and some kind of tool that could help us with tracking that would be amazing. We also have part time employees with different eligibility and it would be nice to be able to set the roll-over rate individually vs. the same number being applicable to all and then we have to go in and change it for the PT employees. Email customer service is quick and good. Thanks.

Kommentare: Great tool to track our individuals time and appointments

Vorteile:

Overall very easy to use, easy tracking and good reporting

Nachteile:

We don't have the ability to track "extra" hours worked - just time taken away from normal business hours.

Poor support

Vorteile:

Ease of use. Easy to set up. Our employees liked it.

Nachteile:

Software works. Reaching people with questions does not. Our managers could not see our PTO requests, even after they were set up to.

Built for Teams Pros and Cons

Kommentare: Pleased we made the decision to go with Built for Teams. After using it for a few months, it is now second nature to use.

Vorteile:

It replaces all of the manual calculations I used to do and I can rely on the calculations to be correct.

Nachteile:

Not being able to select which request I wish to modify or delete for a staff member and that they have to go back and enter any request that came after the one that was deleted.

A functional affordable HR application

Kommentare: We started using built for teams to track PTO, coming from a process of email and spreadsheets. It has allowed us to better track and oversee PTO as an organization.

Vorteile:

- Easy to use - Able to quickly review my teams PTO at a glance - Email notifications are great

Nachteile:

- Have to create multiple entries when you have an interrupted span of days off to request - Days off are requested in hours which can be confusing to new users

BFT review

Kommentare: Built for Teams allows us to track our PTO and not rely on a manual process to track carryover vacation. It’s been helpful with document compliance for our quarterly safety and HR topics as well.

Vorteile:

PTO request and tracking and the ability to approve via email.

Nachteile:

Counts hours for salaried PTO not days. Since our weekend hours are shortened it can cause overages in PTO.

This software is very user friendly, and is very helpful with reporting totals at the end of the month. Great Place to store reviews and other HR documents.

Nachteile:

I would like for employees to be able to choose hourly vs only 4hr increments.

Great PTO Tracker!

Kommentare: We have full time PTO tracking with our employees. We can look back at time used and decide if our PTO benefit package is working for our employees or if we need to adjust it. It's very handy and simple.

Vorteile:

We use Built for Teams solely for its PTO tracking. Our employees all use it, which says a lot about the ease of use. It creates quick reports and it is easy to get someone on boarded. No complaints - it's a great value, even though we don't use the full spectrum of services.

Nachteile:

It would be nice to customize the reporting.

Easy to use - and getting better!

Kommentare: We have better communications on people's PTO time usage between management and bookkeeping. That alone is worth the cost of what it can do. But it also prevents confusion amongst our staff and who is going to be taking time off when.

Vorteile:

If you are lookingfor software that's easy to use and helps you to manage your people's time, builtforteams is a great product. We are currently using it to manage our people's PTO time and our hourly employees timesheets.

Nachteile:

on occasion, it's hard to find the right location to change a little information. But customer service is always on top of any request and it doesn't take long to get it resolved.
