Great Point of Sale payment processor for Small Companies

Kommentare: Great product for going to trade shows and selling products there remotely and when they don't buy from the website. It is quick to make an amount they need to pay.

Vorteile:

I like that I only had to pay for the unit that hooks to my phone and then there is no monthly fee unless I need more features.

Nachteile:

No way to take a payment without or with bad internet and then hold for later until there is service.

not recommend it

Kommentare: the overall experience was marred by high fees and poor customer service. The setup was smooth initially, but the customer service was slow and unhelpful. I was not adequately informed about charges, and I had to make three calls to speak with the right agent to resolve the issue and cancel the service.

Vorteile:

Honestly that I do not have like most about clover... I have a bad Experience ..

Nachteile:

at least is simple and simple.. however there are better one Than this.. I would not recommend it

Clover POS Review

Kommentare: great would definitely recommend especially if it is integrated with software

Vorteile:

the options for payment is easy seamless fast, you can access everything from the pos system

Nachteile:

it is not currently integrated with our software program so we have to manually enter the sale price

Good Basic Device, very poor software

Kommentare: Works well as a basic POS platform but does not do what it claims it can do as far as inventory management. Has too many 3rd party apps needed at a cost that isn't worth the value of service it provides.

Vorteile:

Easy setup, good looking equipment. Definitely a step up from tablets as far as dependability.

Nachteile:

Doesn't actually have an inventory management or reporting that works for any size restaurant. Can only track cost of items, but nothing modified can be tracked. Throwing off cost by up to 30% and making the function completely useless. Does not allow online lunch menus to show up at specific times. Does not allow for specials or discounts to be applied to online ordering.

Clover Review

Kommentare: We switch ed from Quickbooks POS to Clover years ago. Clover has been great! It was easy to load all inventory from a spread sheet. A few items needed correction after transfer but for the most part the transition was incredibly easy. It also has saved us a ton of money with the credit card processing fee feature. I like it and do refer it to friends and others in business.

Vorteile:

I currently use Clover for my retail wholesale business. I have multiple locations. The system works great for us!

Nachteile:

Backend work generally requires a call to customer service. But for the most part it is easy to use.

Would recommend

Payment Processing Simplicity

Vorteile:

Simple payment processing solution with online and in-person solutions.

Nachteile:

A little expensive for what it is. I think since you purchase the hardware, the software should be included.

Best way of process payment! I strongly recommend it.

Kommentare: It is a very useful way of getting quick and small amount of money from the payment of our costumers. Before we were using a more convectional way of and it costed a lot and the online payments were always very late to arrive in my account but with Clover it is much easier.

Vorteile:

The very innovative and practical way of paying things. Considering the company I work it is not that big, the payment method by clover is much useful.

Nachteile:

Although the taxes asked by the payments are already low, it could be less.

Easy to use, basic features

Kommentare: Used for my small medical practice, solo practitioner.

Vorteile:

The mobile device was easy to use, good price.

Nachteile:

The transactions were difficult to track in terms of who the payer was.

Great point of sale system for a small business.

Kommentare: We use it as our point of sale software and hardware for a small cafe.

Vorteile:

Simple and intuitive interface allows me to interact with customers and process payments.

Nachteile:

We have had some connectivity issues with one of the terminals in the past but it was resolved.

Clover is fraud

Kommentare: it is a total disaster, double charge came, and support saying no, you were charged just once

Vorteile:

it is a fraud, with mistakes of double charges, which you spend hours to fix, talking to absolutely unprofessional support

Nachteile:

everything, support is awful, and you spend precious time being transferred from one person to another with no help

STAY AWAY FROM CLOVER!!!!!!!!

Customer service and they will take your money even though you ask them not to. I had to close my restaurant for personal issue, so i called the clover and spoke to someone regarding Monthly clover service charges and he said no problem. However, they debited 9 months $49.00 for subscription plan fee (not the machine lease fee). They would not give you money back nor care to contact you because its their mistake

The excess fees that Clover charges

Kommentare: I didn't care for the system due to the unfair charges my customers received.

Vorteile:

The ease of use of the online pos systems.

Nachteile:

That they changed my customers extra fees for using a credit or debit card. On top of what I was already paying them monthly.

The crash of Clover

Kommentare: I’m a month pass our warranty and because of their crash I end up having to pay over $300 to replace a piece of equipment

Vorteile:

A piece of equipment failed because of their crash and unable to use the system basically out of business until it is fixed and I had to pay for it. It’s been over a week already looks like another week.

Nachteile:

Very unreliable I had a business you better have a back up system like Square and an iPad and a cash register

Clover: Not as reliable as before the switch.

Kommentare: They've nearly put us out of business due to the migration from payeezy to clover. The most frustrating part was the fact that the representatives from clover acted like it's just par for the course and that we should just accept it.

Vorteile:

Our bank migrated from Payeezy to Clover. The migration was easy and was done without our input.

Nachteile:

Our bank migrated from Payeezy to Clover. The migration did not migrate all of the previously existing credit cards into the clover account causing over half of our recurring payments to fail the next month.

Kommentare: It was great to begin my business with low volume inventory and sales.

Vorteile:

It was quick and easy to set up. The device was easy to use in my store.

No inventory system No calculation of sales tax

very easy to use in an office environment that takes payments. Receipts are easy to print and reports are very clear and easy to view online

Having to pay for multiple terminals or only use one computer

Quick and Easy Payment Processing

Vorteile:

What I enjoy most about Clover is how simple and useful the machine is. It sits on my desk right beside me while sitting on the charger. The customers also like this machine, which allows them to use tap/Apple Pay and to manually enter their card information if they do not have their card physically with them

Nachteile:

The only thing that I dislike about Clover is that when the machine is close to dying, the printer does not work correctly.

Business Owner

Kommentare: Terrible experience. Zero help from anyone. Just to cancel was an act of congress. If I could avoid a company, in any business, doing anything, I would avoid Clover.

Vorteile:

Nothing. Unless you like add-on fees that you don't get from other processors, avoid Clover.

Nachteile:

Never ending erroneous fees. Zero help from customer service to explain and/or dispute. Customer service spoke with broken English and NEVER helped a situation. Clover called something "Quarterly PCI charge" and would charge whenever, bi-monthly. They just drafted the money when they wanted. Deal breaker was they came up with a "Security Bundle Fee" of $299. No one at customer service could explain what it was and there was not getting out of it. I cancelled account and after account was closed, they still drafted the following month. Clover is the worst processing company.

Clover Review

Kommentare: One of the best and easiest P.O.S. systems to use and easy to train employees to use.

Vorteile:

Number one it is easy to use. The reports you can pull are an easy way to keep track of sales with no guess work.

Nachteile:

I do not have anything bad to say about Clover.

Horrible Experience

Kommentare: Horrible and tedious and stressful and irritating and annoying and expensive with no return of investment.

Vorteile:

Was informed I was sent to collections before it became it extravagant amount to owe.

Nachteile:

Horrible costumer service. One guy was completely rude. Everyone has accents and are difficult to understand. Could not afford the monthly billing fees which I was not forewarned about so got an NSF notice from my bank and was sent to collections. The process of trying to complete the compliance paperwork was so tedious, took so long, was full of technical jargon and could not get any assistance with it.

Clover: High-quality product and overall good value

Vorteile:

It is easy to use and offers great reporting tools.

Nachteile:

We have encountered some customer service issues at times.

Find another option. You have been warned.

Kommentare: Absolutely terrible. They will tell you anything to get your business but then when there’s a problem, they are nowhere to be found. Do not do business with these guys if you are in the southwest, or California. Trust me. Don’t make them the same mistake I did.

Vorteile:

I like the ability to send credit card invoices directly to clients that are encrypted.

Nachteile:

These guys cannot be trusted. My dollar volume is close to $1 million a year and my average sale was between $2500 and $5000. I do tax consulting. When Clover suspects anything on your account, they will hold your money. They will also take their fees out of your account without paying you. I have had $90,000 on hold for Eight days so far. Clover is unresponsive, they don’t give me a timeframe of what’s happening, or anybody to talk to. My rep is in Arizona, and California, and I would avoid her like the plague.

SUPER QUICK AND EASY TO ACCEPT PAYMENTS, EVEN GOOGLE PAY AND APPLE PAY

Nachteile:

PUTTING IN THE RECEIPT PAPER IS A LITTLE TRICKY SOMETIMES, CAUSE IT WILL GET SIDEWAYS.
