They provide a wealth of content packs that come with ready to use furniture and materials. Also provide a Custom Workshop tool where you can adjust any of the existing furniture/objects and come up with your own specific furniture which can be added to user libraries. Lighting works very well with the LuxCore render engine and you can use emissive lighting or actual lighting. All is PBR based so light reflects as it should on object surfaces. I started with just some basic measurements of the home we’re moving into and managed to build a complete floor plan in just a few hours. There are some key areas to read in the manual that will help, but for the most part it’s relatively easy to watch there tutorial videos and get up and running quickly.
