Transferring numbers was fairly painless. Integrates with cell phones.
I have a hard time logging into the app. I constantly have to reset my password for some reason.

Vorteile:
Appreciate that the platform is always adding new features and other requested functions
Nachteile:
Set up is a bit tricky in the beginning to be honest

Vorteile:
Cut our phone expense down to about 1/5 what it used to be. Ability to take our phone and work from other locations when needed. Ability to use our cell phones thru the mobile app and have it appear as if we are in the office.
Nachteile:
Texting ability was included initially but now appears to be lost and only included with their Pro plan.
Stay away at all costs
Kommentare: There is nothing positive I can say about Ooma. They issued me a phone number that didn't work and I spent so many hours trying to correct. They wouldn't credit the bill for the time the phone line didn't work despite initially agreeing to issue the credit. It is impossible to get anything fixed or even to understand the issue. They bill more than the agreed upon costs. They mailed the phone to the wrong address and when I asked them to confirm the address they lied and said they confirmed it with UPS. They sent the wrong phone of a much lessor value and utility. Ooma makes AT&T and xfinity look like they have first rate customer service in comparison.
Vorteile:
The best thing about Ooma was leaving Ooma to another phone company.
Nachteile:
Too many things too list. Ooma issued me a phone number that I requested how I wanted my company name to show on caller ID and they told me they cant because it is not an Oooma phone number despite issuing me the phone number which I proved with documentation they issued to me. The phone number only worked sporadically with the majority of calls getting a disconnect recording which they blamed on the phone company of the caller even though I tested the phone line by calling from another Ooma phone a few times as well as ATT and Verizon all with the same result. It took them over ten hours of calls until they finally admitted to the problem and told me the only option was to take a new phone number after I paid to have literature and website put out with the issued phone number. They would not even refund the money they charged me for the phone line that did not accept calls. They billed me twice for the first month which i wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't having other issues with OOMA. Ooma puts you on hold for about an hour to transfer you to the correct person for help, subsequently, you then they put you on hold again and disconnect you so you need to start over. The representatives constantly telling lies instead of fixing issues. Blaming the issues on everything else instead of taking ownership of the issue.
Good product, handy if you are travelling

Easy usuage and the efficency of their customer service is next to none. Customer service is very dedicated. They answer the phone on 2nd or 3rd ring, curteous and happy to talk to you, stick with you until issues are resolved and follow up to make sure you are satisfied. They are simply amazing
Nachteile:
Nothing- may be make the handset a little smaller.

Kommentare: Excellent. I get calls offering to change phone systems and supplier but out cost is so low they can't compete.
Vorteile:
It's simple and works good. Voice mail works well.
Nachteile:
Don't have any. I have a UPS set up so the phone and internet connection works even when the power goes out for short periods.
Ooma is the shizz!

I originally sought a solution to replace AT&T. Ooma has addressed every single one of my issues - cost, reliability, and customer support are second to none.

I can't think a single thing. I love everything about this company.

Being able to make calls, messages, faxes and voicemail management from one integration solution makes for easy client communication management.
Nachteile:
Set up of phone numbers and how they interact can be difficult, but Ooma customer support was very efficient and effective at optimizing our settings.
Ooma Office is Super
Kommentare: Overall it has been a good system. We have used it for over ten years! I highly recommend it.
Vorteile:
We like the VOIP option for the service. The transcribed voicemails that arrive in our email boxes. The menu option and ease of changing our office availability/hours is super. With the calendar feature, we can adjust the office holiday and bad weather closures quickly. We are also excited about the mobility of the set up - we are changing our office and we just take it all with us. No number changes! We also like to call register - you can track back numbers in/out if needed.
Nachteile:
Sometimes we get an electrical outage and the in-office system goes down (but it still rings to our cell phones so we are able to do business). The fax is a little awkward to learn, but after you have it set it works out good.
Easy to Use
Kommentare: I highly recommend Ooma there is no hassle with the system and the operation.

I had the same service though another company before, Ooma es much better to use and the price is lower.

It is easy to use. I had this smea type of serivce with another company and Ooma is much better to use and more reliable.
Makes my small business look big
Kommentare: I love it and would probably have to hire another employee if I did not have Ooma.

I love Ooma office. My company, only me, does not do a lot of phone correspondence. And a few years ago, I was inundated with spam and junk calls. The switch to Ooma Office allowed me to set up a system where the user needs to push a few buttons to get to me. This has stopped all spam and robo calls. As a one person business, this has saved me hours of previously lost productivity.
Nachteile:
If I have to give a con, then it would be their desktop app. I can't recall why I didn't like it, but I ended up removing it from my desktop. I use the web version of their app and it works just fine.
Good Neighbor

Great service, horrible customer service

The price and functionality. Phone number option with 800 numbner.
Nachteile:
The customer service is horrible. The sales reps lie and make promises with no intention of keeping them. I've referred two clients who currently use the service. I was never compensated for the referral. Even after following up with sales, I never received a callback or response to my email concerning the referral fee.
Excellent product
Kommentare: Pleasant. Compared to other services, I liked it the best. The app function is nice for when we're away from the office and can work from anywhere.

Ease of getting started. Setup and functionality are great.
Nachteile:
My phone that I chose runs off wifi. Downsides are if wifi is down but also at random times, calls can be fuzzy. But it can go away on its own or if we hang up and redial it's always better. Infrequent that this happens.
Great value for the cost without sacrificing features

I like the mobile app that allows me to occasionally work from home.
Nachteile:
No way of knowing if mobile forwarded calls are for my personal cell phone or from Ooma app until you answer the call.

Good, not great. Annoying customer service
Kommentare: The primary benefit of switching to Ooma is that I'll be able to take business calls as usual whether I'm in Canada during the summer or in Mexico during the winter. Of course, I would have this benefit with any of their voip competitors also, but regardless. Now that it's finally set up the way I like it, I think I'll be staying with Ooma for a long time.
Vorteile:
I like that I can upload a voicemail greeting, and that I have a lot of control over how to handle incoming calls with the virtual receptionist. In my case, I want the phone to ring 4 times, and if it is not answered to not allow people to leave voicemail, but instead be presented with a greeting. Ooma allows me to do this.I also like that they have both mobile and desktop apps, as I am choosing to use only the desktop app. It starts up automatically and displays notifications when the phone rings, so this is exactly what I was looking for.
Nachteile:
Two things. 1. When a call comes in, the call display only shows me the first and last name from my contact list, but it does not show me the company name of the person who's calling. I wish there was more control over what data from the contact card was shown on the call display for incoming calls.2. The customer service is annoying. The good thing about the customer service is that it's easy to get a customer service agent on the phone, and also that the customer service agents are friendly. So they're trying, but the bad thing is that all the customer service agents are incompetent. They don't seem to understand when you explain an issue, and they don't seem to ever know the answer. They always seem to have to do research with you on the spot to find the answer, and even then half the time they give you an answer to a question you didn't ask. Sigh.
