Vorteile:

We have been using PowerUp Sports since 2007. The team took their original offering and created custom functionality for service offerings. Over the last 12+ years, they have continued to be responsive to our needs. PowerUp Sports is responsive, adaptable, reasonably priced and effective at solving our challenges.

Nachteile:

We didn't create it. The product is perfect for our needs.

Great user friendly system

Vorteile:

The support you get from the company you can't find anywhere else. Very user friendly.

Nachteile:

So many features sometimes it's hard to learn them all.

A great partnership!

Kommentare: It has been great from the start, and the support has been second to none. I can email [sensitive content hidden] at anytime, be it the during the day, evening, or even the weekend, and he never hesitates to help out with the issue. He anticipates my/our needs before we do and makes suggestions based on his own experience.

Vorteile:

The support, innovation, and ease of use.

Nachteile:

It is hard to even say what I like least - any issue, fix, or suggestion I have had was addressed and/or implemented right away so I wouldn't be able to give a negative.

PowerUp review from a sport's club perspective

Vorteile:

PowerUp offers a user-friendly and comprehensive platform that enables our members to easily navigate the system and register their children. Additionally, it allows our administrators to create various products, schedules, and emails, as well as download multiple valuable reports.

Nachteile:

PowerUp offers a wealth of features, which is fantastic, but it can be overwhelming to grasp all its capabilities. The search functions, user guides, articles, and videos are valuable resources that can help navigate its offerings.

Above and Beyond Customer Service

Kommentare: COVID-19 presented many challenges for all sports associations throughout Canada. Once we began to plan to reopen and begin our indoor season [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] from PowerUp helped us with all the online Assumption of Risk waivers, creating an online registration for tryouts for each division and giving us options on how to complete tracing forms for our membership. PowerUp is amazing - we would never change to another product after the wonderful experiences we have had with them.

Vorteile:

The software itself is so user friendly and handles all our needs as a soccer association. When you use it it speaks for itself. What makes PowerUp Sports even more valuable to our association is the client support we receive from [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] of Soccer for the company. Whenever we are navigating through a new product such as online tryouts this year or creating a raffle draw online [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was there to help us through every step and question we had. The support with this system is second to none. Communication responses are very quick and even if we ask about something that they have never dealt with previously their team is quick to come up with a solution.

Nachteile:

To be quite honest I have not found any issues so far with the system - I have been a user for many years and then after joining the soccer board I became one of the PowerUp administrators. I have been in this role for 3 years and have never come across something that I either couldn't figure out quickly or get assistance from the support staff.

Help documents & videos to facilitate support are upgraded regularly and very easy to use.

Vorteile:

Once the system is built and customized to organization - it is easy to use, assign different levels of access permission and navigate. The custom exports, real time changes across the platform make using very easy. Its has fantastic accounting and member tracking capabilities. Training - it is easy to use for all levels of users ( those with limited tech knowledge to advanced users) Club Hub- Team Hub - Integrated schedules - all wonderful features, that centralize all club/team information with our members Connect App - very nice, clean end user functionality Power Up team - continue to update/ upgrade features based on customer needs

Nachteile:

Initial set up/ build out of Registration& Club functions takes some time and training to become proficient in usage

PowerUp - superior sports software

Kommentare: High quality sports software which also can be applied to other business portfolio's (Membership Registration, Community Association or Home Owners Association software)

Vorteile:

Software is built on a solid platform and fulfills all necessary server redundancy and follows the Canada Privacy Act to the utmost degree. It solves most issues a sports club can face.

Nachteile:

Some forms and subcategories are in need of updates - to PowerUp's credit, they are extremely flexible to resolve these in a timely fashion.

Best of breed solution

Kommentare: From the initial deployment & training and, our experience with PowerUp has been outstanding. The level of support and responsiveness has been that of a true business partner.

Vorteile:

It is difficult to categorize what our organization enjoys most about PowerUp. If pressed, it would be the completeness of the solution. Member and tournament registration; ease of use; reporting; scheduling of officials; mass emailing; seamless payment integration. Also, the stability and availability of the hosted solutions have been outstanding.

Nachteile:

There is nothing we least enjoy about the entire solution.

PowerUp - Perfect for our Club!

Kommentare: Our experience has been fantastic from the start. Training was setup easily and accommodated our unique requirements. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help and offer solutions. Moving to Powerup was the best decision our organization could have made.

Vorteile:

Everything! This software covers all of our needs from registration, communication, scheduling to financial reporting. It is easy to learn and use, the family calendar is a huge bonus. We have saved a lot of time with how much easier this program is to use and do tasks over what we've used in the past.

Nachteile:

Nothing to put here. Everything we have asked for or suggested has been done. Response times are really quick.

Power Up review 2024

Kommentare: I love power up. The company is great and the people working for it are also amazing.
Best program for the soccer club :-)

Vorteile:

I love the fact that I can call and get help within minutes. I like the fact that all the things I need for my season are on 1 program. It is easy to use and I like a lot of the other features, financial, reports etc.

Nachteile:

The app can be a little better and they could make it a little more accessible for the Admins to be able to change some things in the back without having to call them.

Kommentare: The Staff so friendly, so helpful and very quick to respond as they understand the importance of the work that is being done at the local soccer club level.

Vorteile:

Gosh- there are so many list! - The ease for users- to create a profile/register on their desktop or phone - The quick reports to check on registration numbers - The ability for users to check on their Power UP account- funds, due dates and schedule

Nachteile:

At this time, I do not have any to mention as this on line management system is so great!

Mount Hamilton Youth Soccer Club

Kommentare: Our overall experience with Power Up has been amazing. The tutorials are always at hand and customer service is just a phone call away. You don't have to open a ticket and then wait for someone to get back to you. Registration is made easy through the system and tracking registration as staff is even easier. both via computer or phone.

Vorteile:

Power up is extremely easy to use and is very user friendly, making it easy to explain to new members how to use the system. I like the fact that all reports that are needed are just a click away and the customer service is fantastic.

Nachteile:

We have no concerns with Power Up. After using many online registration systems Power Up is the best out there.

The customer service is exceptional. Functional and easy to use. Abundance of useful features - every niche scenario I encounter seems to have a solution already available on PowerUp.

Nachteile:

It is a robust system that takes some time to master.

Excellent Product! Excellent Support!

Kommentare: This product enables our Club to streamlne regisration, team set up, schedules, referees and financial management. The ease of use has allowed all of our convenors to become very comfortable using this system. As Administrator, I am able to keep of top of everything at any point in my day and can watch trends in regisraton etc. I would never consider switching companies. PowerUP makes you feel like family!

Vorteile:

We have used PowerUp for 11 years! Through these years, we have grown with the product. The technical support is second to none. The refresher courses offered are very beneficial. We use this program for everything from regisration to scheduling and referees.

Nachteile:

We did find the transition from paper registration to online involved a huge learning curve, but PowerUp stood by us all the way aiding us in any way that they could.

PowerUp Sports

Kommentare: We adopted PowerUp Sports registration system initially to reduce our cost related to paper based registration, which required a cash and cheque payment process and a home grown database to manage our membership. The cost of implementing the PowerUp System was equal to the mailing costs related to our registration process. The handling of thousands of registration forms and the work associated with the tracking and recording of information and financial data was eliminated.

Vorteile:

The PowerUp Sports product meets all our needs for registering our members and their children for our soccer programs. It is easy to use by our members to register for our programs and provides all options for payment of fees. The system enables staff to organize teams, schedule events, communicate schedules, track and record player progress. The creation of products (program SKUs) is simple and easy to do. The system provides standard reports on product sales by product, SKU, and by season.

Nachteile:

Over the nine (9) years and 18 seasons that we have used PowerUp Sports we have seen many enhancements that were suggested by us. They started with the best product available and have improved it every year.

Where to Begin...

Kommentare: Again, our overall experience has been awesome. From the beginning of the year season preparation virtual sessions they run, to the seamless integration with our PSO registration system, this system has been fantastic.

Vorteile:

PowerUp and its team have been nothing short of incredible. I have used this software at multiple clubs and have always found the team and the product to be incredibly adaptable, open-minded and quick in response. The ease of use, not only from a club integration perspective, but from a consumer set-up is fabulous. I truly could not say enough about this product and have been fortunate to work with them. I have a regular go-to person on their team and she is remarkable. Always helpful, provides a holistic solution and is readily available. Thanks, B!

Nachteile:

Nothing to say at this point. I know I had mentioned the ability on the discount side to allow for bundling to be more seamless (especially when not purchased at the same time) and for a $value amount (ie. $20 down) rather than a percentage (to avoid the pesky change). But, these are truly minimal concerns.

This software is amazing

Kommentare: There is a reason so many sports groups sign up and stay with PowerUpSports. Great product and great services and the right price.

Vorteile:

It is designed to meet the needs each level of sports club/governing body sports system. Our clubs get all the features they need/want and we as the governing body get the features we need to be well organized.

Nachteile:

That I did not switch platforms sooner - so may registration/league management platforms are either overpriced or outdated. PowerUpSports has all the features needed for team sports and I have yet to find something I say I like least.

Excellent Registration and Club Management Software

Kommentare: We use Powerup for our registration for all programs.
Our overall experience has been excellent.
Regular engagment and feedback has always been provided.
Customer support is fantastic. There is never an issue with reponse time or quality of response.
There is no company that I have experienced in the sports registration business that has the level of customer service that PowerUp has.

Vorteile:

Ability to fully customize the product and skus in the registration software. Ease of use year over year. Reports are simple to generate. Custom reports are achievable with a simple request.

Nachteile:

Scheduling software is not as easy to work with for our rapidly changing field requirements and changes due to closures etc...

Power Up Scheduling Review

Kommentare: My experience with PowerUp Sports has been 100% positive. Customer support is accessible & knowledgeable on different scenarios & how to accomplish with the software. The software is intuitive & easy to use. Emailing teams/players/parents is simple & professional.

Vorteile:

The scheduling software is easy to use & executes a number of different variables when needed (e.g. round robin playoffs, knockout playoffs, etc). Changes to schedules (field location, time, etc.) are easy to complete. Customer support is available & knowledgeable when it comes to the software.

Nachteile:

Not much! Most issues are dealt with quickly & easily. Staff are open to suggestions on how to improve the software as needed.

All you need!

Kommentare: We have had a long standing relationship with PowerUp Sports. They have always been very supportive and accommodating to our needs. We have always experienced excellent customer service from all levels of employees.

Vorteile:

PowerUp offers a "one stop shopping" approach. It serves all my needs right from registering our members, creating teams, scheduling games and referees to a communication tool.

Nachteile:

Can't think of anything at this moment. If there was something we didn't like or it didn't do, if reasonable, PowerUp was always willing to incorporate the change.

Kommentare: We have been part of PowerUp for 10+ years and the staff has been very accommodating to suggestions from our company. New features added all the time that make the product so easy to use.

Registration product creation is easy to use and has many extra features that make all registrations customizable.

PowerUp Review

Kommentare: The customer service is beyond what I expected. We were hugely supported during our first year. Support was just a phone call or email away and answered within an hour or less. Training was 1 on 1 via conference calls and very thorough. The team at PowerUp is knowledgable, friendly, and always approachable.
I highly recommend PowerUp, you will not be disappointed.

Vorteile:

This software is a complete package for registering and running the daily operation of our soccer club. It is easy to use with great functions for our end users. Family calendar is a huge win. Everything from registration to rostering to scheduling to financial is all included in this easy to use package.

Nachteile:

I don't have any cons about this software

Kommentare: For registration of players and running leagues, this software took it from a 5 person job to a 1 person job.

Vorteile:

The software is easy to use for employees and customers.

Nachteile:

Non customizable by the end user, however the designers are very available easy to work with and will make reasonable customization that are good for the industry.
