Excellent Company

Kommentare: Excellent. [sensitive content hidden] made the process easy and was involved with every step of our integration.

Vorteile:

I have used ADP on and off with companies I have owned or been an officer of since 1997. The company and the people who work here are knowledgeable and good people to work with.

Nachteile:

The software is not well put together and doesn't flow naturally. Additionally, screens will freeze on you and you will have to start over.

Payroll Made Easy

Kommentare: My account manager is excellent. He is always responds quickly to any questions or problems I may have. It makes payroll simple.

Vorteile:

It makes my job much easier. This gives me time to work on other projects.

Nachteile:

There really isn't anything that I don't like about RUN.

ADP Run Review

Kommentare: Poor experience but still gets the job done with processing payroll

Run has the basics in processing payroll

Nachteile:

There were many features in RUN that were suboptimal or that just didn't work at all. Their support teams were horrendous.

Very good!

Vorteile:

I've used Run for many years. It's a great program and easy to use. Reporting is quick as well.

Nachteile:

I have zero complaints, works well. Very easy to use

Ease of use & efficient for small companies

Kommentare: It has been good thus far, but as we are growing, we'd like to look into something more integrated.

Vorteile:

Easy to add PTO and view schedules, track requests, and assign managers. The customer service is great, easy chat option available

Nachteile:

Reports could be more customized, does not sync PTO time with Google Calender

Stale product, but flexible payroll processing

Kommentare: It is a competent system as long as you only need to access it from a desktop browser. The pricing is “OK” for wholesale clients with more than 5 employees.

Vorteile:

It is very easy to make on the fly adjustments to paychecks, such as overriding the amount of withholding, recording an advance repayment, etc. Overall the system is easy to use. The payroll for my accounting firm is free, which is appreciated.

Nachteile:

In 2022 one STILL cannot access the Run Oayroll website from a mobile phone. This is inexcusable and something I have been asking them to correct for more than 15 years. The site automatically redirects to the mobile app, which still, after 15 years, can’t be used for wholesale accounts like mine. It is beyond aggravating.

LOVE RUN by ADP!! - for growing business this is a great product

Kommentare: Overall Run powered by ADP is great. They make it super easy and user friendly to run payroll and they also automatically do tax filings and W-2s. They also have a mobile app to make it convenient and the employee portal is great for them to have access. The Reports in ADP are phenomenal!

Vorteile:

What I like most about RUN powered by ADP is that it is easy to setup and run payroll through also that they file tax filings, and the reports are great.

Nachteile:

My least favorite thing about RUN powered by ADP is the pricing is a little bit more than some other Payroll providers in the market.

ADP is easy and simple to use

Kommentare: I feel confident in ADP as a company. As i have know about them for a very long time. Since at least 1980 in Syosset NY. Long story short, I have seen them grow over the years and i know how things are run there. They have been around a long long time and have only grown with time. So i have the utmost respect and confidence in ADP as a company.

Vorteile:

Customer service is spot on. I always can get help when i need it and i get to speak to a human being. I like the ease of inputting information and feel like they actually care.

Nachteile:

Just a little pricey. But i feel confident that i always have help. As a small business owner in NY we just pay so much for everything. But as a service in NY i get that it is a cost to run a business. Our payroll is our whole business. We do our best to save on costs but its not easy.

ADP Run is good for small business

Vorteile:

Ease of Use, ADP takes care of all the payroll taxes and forms

Nachteile:

the time clock app is not connected to the run adp app

I didn't know payroll could be this simple!!

Vorteile:

We originally used a small local firm to process our payroll, but once they retired, we had to look for a new way to process payroll. We really liked the pricing for the product, as it wasn't a huge jump from what we were already paying. Processing payroll is super easy and really nice that they have an automated feature for salary payroll.

Nachteile:

For some documents that we need them to process for us, it can take multiple weeks to get done because they have so many clients they are working with.

Don't do it!

Kommentare: I have had nothing but problems with ADP. I am not a fan. I think that there are better alternatives like Quickbooks Payroll service. ADP has screwed up an employees wage garnishment resulting in fees. Their PTO tracking has limitations and the customer service is ridiculous.

Vorteile:

There isn't much I like about this software. I think it isn't rocket science so a beginner could navigate it.

Nachteile:

It has major limitations. Support is difficult to get ahold of. The company tries to sell you unnecessary products through scare tactic emails (ex. you are not in compliance).

Great Customer Support

Kommentare: Overall my experience with Run by ADP has been very positive. I will continue to use this software and will recommend to other business associates.

Vorteile:

The best part about Run by ADP is the customer support. They are available and have short wait times to speak with someone. They are super helpful and take the time to walk me through the software functionality. Additionally the software is relatively user friendly and simple to deploy. It makes payroll so simple!

Nachteile:

There isn't anything that I don't like about the software. It has the features and functions that I look for in a payroll processing system.

My Review of RUN by ADP

Vorteile:

The ease of entering payroll, the ease of keep tracking of jobs and tasks worked.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the vacation tracking isnt exactly correct. Need to make changes to it pretty much all the time

Easy Payroll Run

Kommentare: Great!

Vorteile:

Very simple to use. There is a Chat Button when you have questions. Most anytime I've had issues or concerns, someone was available to Chat and resolve what I'm needing. Customer Service has been on point. Reports are easy to find and use.

Nachteile:

This is not their fault, because everyone needs a cut-off limit. However, you must run your payroll by a certain date and time, to get Direct Deposit and Live Checks received.

Bad customer service

Kommentare: Terrible. Never want to use the service!

Vorteile:

It sounds very easy to use the app, but it’s too many requests for the approval.

Nachteile:

Payment (banking) and account set up are different teams, plus the customer service is different team….they don’t work with each other.

Makes running payroll a breeze!

Kommentare: The customer service was stellar in answering my questions and helping me get through the payroll issues I had. I would highly recommend using RUN Powered by ADP

Vorteile:

The self service portal is important to me since I am the only employee. It allows me to utilize this feature without it being expensive. The customer service is outstanding! When I have questions, they are readily available to answer and help.

Nachteile:

At first, I was a little confused on how the process worked in self reporting, but after I spoke with customer service, we were able to work all the kinks out.

Easy to Use for Small Start Ups

Kommentare: Starting my own non-profit, I was looking for ease of use to run payroll and submit taxes. There is so much to figure out when starting up and taxes and payroll seemed overwhelming to me. However, this has Run ADP has made this all a 5 minute part of my month. And, I have no stress that I am in compliance. I thought ADP was only for large companies, but well worth the investment to save me lots of time.

Vorteile:

The best part of ADP is the real live person you can call to get help in setting up and with any questions.

Nachteile:

I got a lot of follow up sales calls for other aspects, but told them no, but kept receiving the calls.

Worst customer service.

Kommentare: Horrifying.

Vorteile:

Nothing. Had issues from the very beginning.

Nachteile:

Payroll system never worked properly. Was sold service that never worked. When I would call, I would get bounced around from department to department.

Run Powered by ADP

Vorteile:

Run is very easy to use and is great for smaller companies. You are even able to work with your specialist to get WC insurance set up on your platform, but of course for an additional cost. It also integrates with a time clock portal to import your hourly employees, hours, including overtime.

Nachteile:

We have not had any issues when using this platform.

Great product with inconsistent customer service

Kommentare: I have not found a better more affordable option. It does everything I need it to do and requires very little effort on my end. I appreciate that it just requires me to tap a few buttons to rub my payroll. I need something that is quick and easy.

Vorteile:

The website and mobile app are very easy to use. Being able to run payroll on the go is very helpful but you can’t add an employee from the mobile app.

Nachteile:

I hate that I can’t add an employee from the app. It has made it difficult sometimes. I also despise the long wait times for customer service. They have a call back option that they say you won’t lose your spot using but it generally takes hours to get a call back. That’s an absurd amount of time.I also hate the nonstop sales calls. I had to threaten to close all my accounts to get the calls to stop. The timekeeping with adp run was a nightmare. If there are any errors it causes issues with running payroll from the app.

Run Powered By ADP Is So Easy To Use!

Kommentare: I save so much more time using RUN by ADP for payroll and employee management. It takes a lot off of my plate and the fact that I can access it from anywhere is a wonderful bonus. The app works so well on my phone that I've processed payroll while out of town many times with no trouble at all. Payroll should be quick, simple, accessible and ADP RUN delivers on all of those needs.

Vorteile:

The ADP Run payroll platform has been making my life as an office manager easier since 2011. I recommend it to anyone asking about payroll platforms and I hope my office never changes. There are so many behind the scenes things that RUN does for you, like the pesky calculations to see which part-time employees qualify as full-time and have to be counted for the ACA insurance requirements. Done! ADP does that time equivalency for you! State new-hire reporting? ADP does that for you too. Entering employees and processing payroll is a breeze! The payroll reports are thorough and the W-2 processing and mailing is all done by them as well. If you haven't used ADP before then do yourself a favor and call them, you won't regret it.

Nachteile:

My main complaint would be on the employee side of the software. Employees can access their paycheck stubs through a platform called Employee Access. I like that it's available and I can manage it on the RUN side but sometimes the website is buggy. The employees say the app on their phones works better than the website. So you will have to reset passwords at times. I hope ADP addresses the glitches with that website.

RUN is a good platform for a global company, easy to use, cost effective & great customer support.

Kommentare: Piece of mind that Payroll is done correctly and timely and that our company is compliant with tax & government agencies.

Vorteile:

Scalability, portability, reliability, ease of use, security, reporting & customer support are the most valued features when it comes to RUN powered by ADP. Our payrolls can grow or shrink very rapidly. This platform allows us to quickly transition our staff size & allows an international team to onboard, process payroll and terminate employees easily & efficiently. We can work anywhere that there is an internet connection & can focus on our core business and rely on ADP to handle taxes and garnishments. The application is well organized & easy to navigate. Security has greatly improved empowering employees & administrators. Central database is secure while always at my finger tips. Standard reporting & Adhoc reporting features are great! Customer Support deserves lots of credit - they are helpful, professional & supported us with difficult HR & technical questions passing along problems & ideas effectively. Finally, ADP has listened to suggestions & continuosly improved its software since 2010.

Nachteile:

There are two items that I like the least about this software. They are both related. Most important is the lack of a feature allowing us to import our payroll data into the "Payroll Task". When we grow it is very time consuming & cumbersome to key in all the data. A feature to import the payroll data would be fantastic! I do not want to go to another platform, which allows the data from the proprietary Time Tracking software to be imported. ADP has tried to sell me this but RUN is perfect for us - just the payroll processing is more cumbersome when under time crunch & when we have lots of employees working different shifts, at different rates, with OT, double time, etc. Second point is the capability of a payroll administrator being able to input/review/edit the data in the Payroll Task & save it. Should not be able to add or delete the Task and not be able to RUN the task (impound the bank). But my team could help out in different time zones if this 2nd feature would be implemented.

Fully Featured But....

Kommentare: RUN is mostly fine and gets the job done. It can be improved by allowing more self-service options for adjusting payroll. Also, they do not offer a service to mail 1099 forms to contractors individually. They mail the forms to the business owner and expect them to mail it individually. This seems to be something they should offer pretty easily.

Vorteile:

The service technically has everything you need to run payroll pretty easily on a regular basis. You can pay both w2 employees and contractors with a few clicks.

Nachteile:

To edit a payroll that has been submitted but not yet processed, you literally need to call ADP customer support. There is no way to adjust payroll once it has been submitted on a self serve basis. This is very annoying. Also, the reporting isnt as intuitive as it should be. They mostly want you to use their canned reporting. They do not offer the option to mail 1099 forms to your contractors indiivudally.

Solid HR Platform

Kommentare: Overall, we find ADP RUN to be useful and a pretty good value for the money. It saves us time and works as expected 99% of the time with no downtime. ADP has really good customer service and we've enjoyed the integration with the retirement services. RUN is robust and offers a lot of different, useful features.

Vorteile:

We've been using ADP RUN for a few years now and have enjoyed our experience with the system. It makes payroll a breeze and provides our staff members with an easy-to-use timecard and information portal, which allows them to see their pay stubs, W-2s, and retirement balances. Errors within the system are rare, and the ADP customer service team is extremely responsive if any issues do arise. W-2 forms are generated automatically for us to mail out and ADP also helpfully files tax and employment reports, which saves a ton of time. An added bonus is the fact that RUN integrates with ADP's retirement services division, so employees can make changes to their deferral percentages and investment options directly through the Employee Access hub. We've also found the HR411 feature to be useful for basic HR queries, particularly when certain forms are needed. It's a good resource.

Nachteile:

Every so often, the Employee Access hub seems to glitch and prevents some employees from reaching their accounts. I've found that this can sometimes be rectified with a cache clear or even opening the Access portal in a different browser, but overall this is a relatively minor issue and it can be quickly cleared up in most cases. ADP also has a bit of a habit of having random salespeople reach out from time to time to attempt upsells rather than a dedicated account manager (we do have a dedicated manager, but the upsells are usually pitched by others).
