There was quite a few 'back of the house' errors that happened as our program was set up that we encountered as I was trying to process payroll.

Vorteile:

How timekeeping is integrated with the payroll side. Employees are able to make demographic, W-4 and various other changes themselves.

Nachteile:

Getting state and local taxes set up in the system is A LOT of work. The way the system looks at a new salaried employee. For example: Our pay period runs the 1st - 15th. We have an employee start on the 16th (beginning of a new pay period). The system requires a pay rate to be in the system for the pay period prior to when they started in order to get the 1st - 15th payroll processed. The system should be able to see the pay rate and DOH is effective 5/16 and know this employee would not get a check for the 1st - 15th pay period.

Kommentare: I like Proliant and I appreciate all of Daron's efforts to help us. We are a needy customer, and I acknowledge that.

Vorteile:

The reporting tools in RPO are very powerful and work pretty well.

Nachteile:

Attendance on Demand is completely over engineered for our needs. It's very frustrating trying to learn the system, is not intuitive, and is inflexible for what I want it to do. I really like having a dedicated account manager, but I often feel they are stretched too thin. Training on the system has been difficult. The training documents are not helpful at all because these are not configured for our particular setup, especially as it relates to Attendance on Demand. In the reporting tool, I've asked about a DOZEN different people in different departments to help me configure one specific report: A snapshot of the active employees on a given day in history; I want to be able to pull a simple report saying who was actively employed on October 22, 2019, for example... NOT who are the active employees TODAY with data from that time period. I've requested this from my account managers (4 different people), client relationships managers (2 different people), and trainers (3 different people). No one has been able to support me on this simple request.

Kommentare: We are starting our 7th year with Proliant and have been very happy with the services provided. Our previous payroll company presented a few challenges which Proliant has been able to assist with solving those challenges. No real complaints about the product.

Vorteile:

Proliant's features help with payroll, related taxes and filings, 401k transmission, onboarding new employees, job costing. They system offers general reporting as well as the capability of creating your own customized report for whatever information you are looking for.

Nachteile:

there is an auto generated end date for Branch, Department and Jobs. sometimes these drop off without some sort of warning that it is going to end and then employees code their time to something else since they can not locate the correct code. It would be nice if there was a notice that something was going to end date so it could be checked to see if the end date needs to be extended.

Inexpensive Service

Kommentare: My experience with Proliant is that the service offered are fairly easy to use. What I have a problem with is the Payroll Manager's you get assigned to you could improve. I currently sent two emails to my new Payroll Manager that got assigned to our account that were completely ignored. This is making me seriously consider switching to a different company that offers better customer service for issues and problems. I have had other Account Managers help out tremendously, but our current Manager could use some improving. She is a bit incompetent. Told me I needed to add dependents in our benefit section and then when the 1095C's were printed, the dependents aren't even listed. Why did I spend 3 hours doing this task at her request and they weren't even on the forms. Makes no sense.

Vorteile:

I like that this software is fairly easy to use and very affordable compared to other programs we have used.

Nachteile:

The reporting process is a bit more complex than I would like it to be.

Any time we have had an issue, you have responded immediately and either resolved it or found someone to help resolve the issue.

Nachteile:

We asked that the mobile punch in and out was not available, but in order for someone to work from home we have no choice but to enable it.Ben Admin was a very rocky start with our implementation lead leaving with no notice. The new implementation lead and our ongoing Ben Admin lead have been great, but the delay in getting up and running caused us a lot of issues.

Kommentare: Proliant has been a great tool to use since I have worked in the HR department. It is easy to use and helpful with new hires. The support contacts are easy to get a hold of and respond in a timely manner.

Vorteile:

Applicant Tracking, Reviews, and Time and Attendance are all easy to use and have helped our company with putting a stop to using paper. It has been easy to navigate things and see how it works.

Nachteile:

Reports in my opinion could use some improvement; some types of reports are not able to be run in Proliant and it causes a little frustration. The reports writer and library work well but could use some improvement in my opinion.

Kommentare: It's an HR software. I'm not the purchaser so my user experience improvement ideas don't really factor in what's easy for my company to use. It does the job.

I can access my schedule and paycheck stuff in one place

Nachteile:

Some of the UI is unintuitive. It's also hard to use it on mobile. Looking at my work schedule takes some figuring out.

So Happy We Made the Switch to Proliant!

Kommentare: I was dreading the switch because we had just gone through implementation with another provider. I have no regrets. Proliant is on top of it. Our first payroll was easy! The tax team is responsive and any issues are quickly and easily resolved. I am excited to integrate our expense reimbursement into Proliant instead of cutting checks.

Vorteile:

The implementation team was very knowledgeable and made the transition from our previous provider seamless and painless. The Ready Pay Online platform is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Unlimited training is helpful in learning all the different aspects of the software. The customer service has been amazing; I quickly get accurate answers to all of my questions.

Nachteile:

I still struggle with Reporting and finding or customizing reports to the content and format I need.

Great People, Clunky Software

Kommentare: The people who work there are great and very helpful! The software itself is a little clunky. Other HRIS solutions are a little user friendly but I get that it is difficult to be all things to all people. I had hoped development would be a little more nimble and our client feedback would be a bit more valuable.

It's functional. We love the service and the people at Proliant.

Nachteile:

It's not that user friendly. The modules don't meet all our needs. ie. PTO tracking, training, performance management, compensation

Kommentare: Implementation was well-guided and training was helpful. It's not the most intuitive software I have ever used, but it's not difficult

Vorteile:

Excel time sheets are a thing of the past, and we enjoy a timekeeping system that integrates with payroll. The Proliant set up team worked with us to track both grants and activities, which makes payroll accounting much easier. W2s and pay stubs are available for employees to access in the same system where they enter time, and they are able to make changes to their benefits allocations in the system.

Nachteile:

The help features are not that helpful. There is a library of topics, but it is nearly impossible to navigate. The multi-factor authentication also makes me a little nuts. Because my browser is set to limit cookies, I have to log in, get a code from my email, then answer three questions every time I log in. No other site I visit is as rigorous. I understand that there is a lot of sensitive data, but might appreciate an MFA app like Salesforce uses.

Kommentare: Customer service is great, transition to this software is seamless. Running payroll and getting reports is cumbersome and time-consuming.

Vorteile:

My needs were very basic on the payroll side. The actual running of payroll was reliable and consistent.

Nachteile:

Running payroll required too many steps, most of which were unnecessary. Payroll reporting did not get me the information I needed in and easy, concise manner. I had to use 2 reports to be able to post.

Easy To Use HRIS With A Budget Friendly Focus

Kommentare: Proliant is an overall efficient HRIS suite that can deliver on a budget.

Vorteile:

Proliant features a suite of easy to use HRIS. The implementation is not a long an drawn out process based on my experience and business size. The price is in line with the features.

Nachteile:

Some services that Proliant offers are sub-par and can use better customer service. We use the full tax services that Proliant offers and though the services are full-filled, the customer services of the tax team is lacking. Takes multiple queries to receive a response and the response time is below par. Next is the Attendance On Demand time keeping module, this is by far my least favorite or I should say the worst part about Proliant's HRIS. If you are looking for a simple but dated time keeping system then you should have no issues. But if you are looking for a technically up-to-date system to track time, manage time keeping, and have real time analytics then this is not the one for you.

Kommentare: I would say that our experience has been a positive one. I have had some really great support people but they always seem to leave and we're left with some that aren't very helpful. I would like to see the training and support materials improved. They give you an overall understanding of what the tool does but, when you have an issue, it's really difficult to try and find the answer on your own.

Vorteile:

Our implementation was very easy. Each of our implementation specialists were very engaged and knowledgeable and helpful during our implementation. The layout is is user friendly and the modules offered are all important aspects of the HR function. I also like the amount of tools provided.

Nachteile:

While implementation was easy, the training to use the software was lacking. Watching someone go through a video of the modules wasn't as useful as being able to get into a testing site and actually use the software. I wish the guides were a little more user friendly. Sometimes it's hard to tell which guide the information I'm looking for is in. The help feature is nice but, when I tried to use it, it didn't provide me with the information I was looking for.

Kommentare: We really enjoy our customer success manager but some of the implementation team members (specifically time and labor implementation) was difficult tow work with.

Vorteile:

We really enjoy the time and attendance portion of the software. It is also easy to navigate clocking in and out. We also enjoy it from an administrative perspective and reporting is easy to navigate.

Nachteile:

Not mobile friendly... this has been hard for our employees to adjust to.

Proliant - Excellence

Kommentare: One word "EXCELLENT": But I have to say that what makes it excellent is the Customer Support I have received over the years. I have been using Proliant for a little over 4 years and there is NO Customer Support (except Chick-a-filet, lol) that compares to Proliant - namely [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and her support when she is not available.

Vorteile:

Very flexible; handles all payroll needs that I have encounter.

Nachteile:

Here is where I think you could add some improvements: On the Multiple Entry when you want to add another earnings item and you click on that EE, it ask you to save, then you select save, then it makes you select the EE again, then it goes to single entry --- it would be nice to bounce between these two entry points with more ease. Another item that I ran across is, let say I want to reimburse an EE $200; $100 for Vehicle expense and $100 for a reimbursement for supplies; instead of creating another code, if we had a place for a brief memo and it printed on the payroll register - same for any other code especially earnings. This would save the payroll clerk from having to do this every payroll - we run three payrolls a week.

Kommentare: Primarily used for payroll processing and time clock management with PTO leave administration.

Vorteile:

Robust features with a low cost value proposition with a fairly stable online platform and reputation.

Nachteile:

Some of the employee settings during onboarding are not easy to find due to infrequent use by a small employer with light turnover. The system is very thorough with lots of features and controls so it does take some experience and use over time to become an "expert" user. Designing a way to simplify these would be beneficial to small employers that do not experience a lot of turnover.

Proliant is user friendly with great customer service

Kommentare: The set up was very effective and efficient. Setting up our company--although stressful at times--went off smoothly. We do a bi-weekly payroll and it is processed 99% of the time with no issues. However when I do have an issue the customer service team is very efficient in solving any issues we have. I would recommend Proliant to other McDonald's organizations.

Vorteile:

The software is user friendly and the customer service department is incredibly helpful and very efficient.

Nachteile:

At times there is a lag in the processing of data. Some days you can move through the software no issues, other days there is a lag in the processing of the data you are entering.
