Solve the leaves management!!

Kommentare: We have been using it for one and a half months and it is been amazing so far, it really solved us the leaves management, people working remotely can use it without any problem and also the dashboard is easy to see. what was our main problem was after someone within the office took some vacations days did not know then how many days he/she has left (we were using Semesterlistan, a Swedish company)

Vorteile:

What we really like about this software is its usability, user frinedly and is is integrated with Slack, our non-offical communication channel.

Nachteile:

Might be good an app and also if we can count extra working days

Makes OOO organization a breeze.

Kommentare: I was in charge of implementing a new OOO organization, and after heafty research I came across Vacation Tracker. My boss could not be more pleased!!

Vorteile:

- VERY easy to use / user friendly - approval process takes out a middleman - customizable

Nachteile:

- wish I could have some people not need approval (the bosses) but still be able to put their time off in

Basic Leave Tracking

Kommentare: I wish it had more options for customizing messages to users when submitting leave. It is easy for users to submit and cancel leave. It is limited on intuitiveness for time accrual.

Vorteile:

Easy to set up and use. Integrates well with Teams. Does not take much training for employees to use. Customize leave types, assign roles, designate rules for different locations. Pricing is more flexible for small businesses that have a varying number of users.

Nachteile:

Limited functionality. Employees can either take off full days or half days, they cannot designate exact hours. No accrual tracking based upon hours worked. No option for a custom message for employees to read and agree to and no option for employees to designate a cover person.

Great product that keeps getting better

Vorteile:

Slick system that is accessible on Teams, mobile, web.

Nachteile:

Time increments are limited. Email integration for making requests would be a nice addition.

Vorteile:

I like the fact that you can go to "Teams" and request and approve time off, working from home, and sick days all from one place

Nachteile:

I don't like how it takes a few hours to update on your office calendar. On the website it updates immediately but not for the office calendar when you connect it unless you connect another vacation tracker then it does update automatically

Easy to implement and use!

Kommentare: All in all, a good experience. We have locations in Europe and Canada and finally having a company-wide system for everyone has made things so much easier!

Vorteile:

The implementation of Vacation Tracker was super easy. It is very versatile and various leave types can be customized at a fairly granular level. For the most part, simply using the Help Desk articles answered most questions I had - but the Support Team are amazing at responding and following up on any questions. Implementing Vacation Tracker was easy, at the app is very intuitive for new users. As we have integrated with Teams, sending and approving leave requests couldn't be easier!

Nachteile:

It is not a "dislike" per se, but because Vacation Tracker makes it possible to customize leave types and policies, it can be a bit confusing. I should probably have taken advantage of the intro meeting that was offered.

Great program for tracking PTO

Kommentare: Even though I am relatively new user/admin, so far the experience has been a positive one and I believe it fits our organization's needs nicely!

Vorteile:

I love that it integrates directly with Microsoft Teams and Outlook so that employees can see everything in one application.

Nachteile:

It is a bit confusing to navigate as there are multiple ways in Teams to request leave, see your profile, cancel leaves, etc.

Vorteile:

I like the ease of implementation and it's the first tracker I have used that it's too robust for a small operation. We have some folks who are not tech savvy and they have been able to navigate the app with minimal instruction. It's intuitive and has a good user experience

Nachteile:

That I can't turn off email notifications to managers. They would like to just login to check things out and not have their inboxes flooded.

Easy Setup and Usage

Kommentare: Overall product is great for our use of tracking PTO. Easy to setup and use. I was pleasantly surprised with the live webinars to show functionality and updates. When needed, support has been quick and helpful.

Vorteile:

System is intuitive to not only setup but also for employee's to use. Also visually simple and not complex. The easiest Outlook calendar integration that we tested!

Nachteile:

Some additional customizations could be nice, such as having a variety of set PTO banks that I could assign to eligible employees and having comment section to note why additional days may be added.

Vorteile:

Easy to set up and operate (even for the technologically challenged). The ability to categorise defferent locations with their own holidays and time zones. Importing holidays for the different locations. Diferent ways of outlooks (Calendar, summaries, individuals)

Nachteile:

Would have liked it if I could set up the user before inviting them so they will not fall on the default location but the location I prepare for them in advance. Could have a cheaper starter for small companies (which we are).

Vorteile:

I like the ease of use for both the administrator and the user. I enjoy how easily you can customize to your company's particular needs.

Nachteile:

Haven't found one yet. But I'll report back if that changes.

Simple and well integrated

Kommentare: I've been very happy with it and the wider team has had no issues adapting it. It offers great visibility and accountability for leave taken. They are always updating it and the support has been very responsive.

Vorteile:

Vacation Tracker has excellent integration with Slack and Google Calendar, with most leave requests and approvals done through Slack. The support team is extremely responsive and has been able to quickly solve any questions or issues we had with the app. The app itself is very easy to navigate and mostly self-explanatory. The leave policies, locations and approval flow are quite customisable and extremely user friendly. The leave accrual functionality has been a fantastic addition, and allowances can be adjusted by individual.

Nachteile:

Could us more flexibility in leave policies, for example ability to submit requests retroactively

FOK Review

Kommentare: My overall experience with Vacation Tracker is that so far this product is great.
It's easy to use. No one had a problem to start using this. product.
Custom Service is also helpful when I have a problem, I email them, and they email me back.

Vorteile:

Having updates readily available for who’s taking time off, and when, helps the employee be more efficient. Everyone can easily monitor their time off activity through individual profiles without having to ask for their remaining time off which is great. Everyone will be informed about upcoming absences and holidays. Approve or decline leave requests is a great feature. Love that it goes straight to the approves email and then you get notified when your request is approved or denied. Added your leave to the company calendar is great as well. We use a company calendar to see who is in off or off.

Nachteile:

Have no issue with vacation tracker so far.

Honest Truth!

Vorteile:

Tracker is extremely user friendly and constantly updates new features. Support is extremely amazing and responsive.

Nachteile:

When we first started with VT, certain features were not available

Vacation Tracker - Amazing Leave Tracking Tool

Vorteile:

Ease of use and interface. Easy to set and make amends to the settings. The real-time visibility streamlines communication and resource allocation.

Nachteile:

User profile and editing of leave balances of each user. Department settings will have you include the names of managers since the entire department leave gets approved by a manager.

Vorteile:

Vacation Tracker makes my life as a manager so much easier. I don't need to worry about tracking everyone in different places, knowing what tier they are a part of, etc.

Nachteile:

There is nothing I dislike. I just wish I could add a few features.

Best implementation of this year for our company!

Kommentare: We LOVE Vacation Tracker. We went from a single person tracking PTO on a spreadsheet to a completely transparent, user friendly portal. My employees were constantly asking how many days they had left and we were using paper request and payroll forms. Changes were a huge hassle. Now, they can send a chat message to request days off, see how many days they have left and can make adjustments easily. Any request are sent to managers in a chat and they can approve/deny instantly and payroll can easily access weekly reports to stay up to date. It seems like a simple thing, PTO tracking, but when it's done well like this, the experience for the entire company is so much better!

Vorteile:

Completely paperless, easy to set up and get implemented. Employees love having visibility to their PTO and easily requesting PTO. Customer support is AMAZING!

Nachteile:

We have a graduated yearly accrual (the longer you are here, the more days you earn) and it isn't quite set up for that yet so we update annually on anniversary dates. I wish the calendar integrated into the Teams calendar.

Vacation Tracker works for us

Kommentare: It was easy to roll out

Vorteile:

This software allows staff to submit their requests and be responsible for monitoring their vacation days; we do not need to send out monthly summaries of vacation balances.

Nachteile:

Wish we could do a reset when a work schedule changes on our own instead of requesting a ticket. We set us with our email and wish we set it up with Teams.

Vacation Tracker is decent, but could be much better.

Vorteile:

I like that it's way more convenient than using spreadsheets to keep track of people's days off.

Nachteile:

Creating teams/departments is a bit complicated. Also, it lacks flexibility - it doesn't matter when an employee has started, the app doesn't calculate the actual vacation days. E.g. if someone starts in September, they shouldn't have the same amount of paid days off as employees who've started in January.

We've been using VacationTracker for a couple of months now and we're really happy with it!

Nachteile:

Honestly, tracking vacations, sick leaves and remote days for 200 people became a pretty bothersome process at one point, and all of the other HR tools looked super unorganized and had features we saw no use for. But once we integrated VacationTracker, the whole hassle of requesting and approving days off became a streamlined process that ran on autopilot. That is such a relief!

Easiest Vacation Tracker I've ever used!

Vorteile:

Vacation Tracker was incredible easy to implement and it does its job very well. The interface is simple, but effective. And the platform allows for just the right amount of customization. It's integrations with Slack make sharing information super simple.

Nachteile:

I wish there were some deeper customization options around setting company holidays. Creating team and approver hierarchies can also be a bit confusing if your company isn't very clearly vertical.

Exactly what we were looking for

Vorteile:

This is the exact product we were looking for. We went from spreadsheets and manually entering PTO on a shared calendar to Vacation Tracker. Easy to set up, integrated with Google Calendar, and cost effective. Our staff can now see their PTO balance by logging in vs. requesting a balance from management.

Nachteile:

Hard to find. We researched several solutions before stumbling across your product on a google search.

Nachteile:

Not having the feature to block out dates and not being able to flex time in small chunks like 1 hour at a time

Accrual only on advanced plan. As a seed stage startup, we cannot spend on a more advanced plan right now. So I have to separately figure out how to track accrual and that's a pain
