Es erfordert Zeit und Mühe, um sich mit den verschiedenen Funktionen vertraut zu machen und sie effektiv nutzen zu können. Kommentare: Im großen und ganzen ein sehr gutes Tool für agiles Projektmanagement. Außerdem gefällt mir die Kompabilität mit Confluence.

Vorteile:

Wir nutzen Jira in unseren Scrum Teams für sämtliche Projekte. Sowohl der Projektfortschritt als auch die Planung funktioneren mit Jira sehr gut. Tickets können in Story und Tasks aufgeteilt werden und jedes kann ein eigenes Zeitkontingent bekommen. Ebenso lassen sich manuelle Tests hier sehr gut dokumentieren mit dem Plugin XRay.

Man kann damit wirklich komplexe Vorgänge planen und verfolgen sowie verschiedene Tasks untereinander verknüpfen. Finde es sehr intuitiv in der Anwendung. Steigert definitiv die Produktivität und verbessert die Zusammenarbeit in unserem Team.

Nachteile:

Manchmal kommt es zu Problemen wieder zurück in die Webanwendung zu kommen, wenn man verknüpfte Dokumente aufruft - kann aber auch Anwenderfehler von meiner Seite sein... Aber das passiert eher selten und ist auch keine große Sache.

Kommentare: Erfüllt die Aufgaben gut, ist in der Automotive-Branche üblich und für komplexere Projekte gut geeignet auch mit vielen Beteiligten.

Vorteile:

Es ist eine solide Software. Ist auch benutzerfreundlich. Die Sicherheit der Kommunikation ist auch gut vorhanden.

Nachteile:

Die Oberfläche sieht nicht so modern aus, aber es ist nicht so relevant. Bin nicht sicher, ob sich damit auch agile Projekte gut verwalten lassen.

It is user-friendly, has cleverly thought out custom filters, has the ability to send emails, has a discussion about findings, we work with the scrum work method. That's why it's appropriate. The reports are very detailed. Job tracking and assignment is quite simple.

Nachteile:

So far, I haven't come across a feature that I don't like. Me and my team are very satisfied.

It's the "standard", everybody knows it, everybody uses it. Every company I've worked for uses Jira, so there you go...

Nachteile:

Support is far from good and they miss some simple, key features, for no reason. One good example is the fact you cannot add a simple checklist to a task (unless you pay for an expensive add-on that over complicates a very simple thing).

Application is richer in features and the functionalities. It provides more flexibility when working on it we can manage several projects at once by allocating peoples to those projects. Application provides better details about the projects via charts. we can create custom filters and custom charts as we wish. Most of the people use jira for manage Agile methodology but we can use it for Kanban also.

Nachteile:

Application is complicated at the first sight but it gets familiar once start working.

Kommentare: Overall, the product is great to use. If your company invests in it then as a user, you should can count yourself lucky.
When you are responsible of running and purchasing the product and are dealing with organizational constraints, Atlassian Jira might not be so user friendly anymore. That's a petty, as it's in contrast with the user friendly image Atlassian Jira has with the many users.

Vorteile:

The ease of use is such a timesaver. Also the many integrations with other attlassian products is great, it really saves a lot of time and it's a great as documentation. Jira is the reference for software development team, and with good reason1

Nachteile:

It can be costly and there are nasty sides on the licensing. For example, you can't use plugins for a limited number of users, and only pay for that the number of users. Although in some cases I can understand, in some other cases it makes no sense and it's really a barrier. An other nasty side we experienced is the lost of investment when upgrading during a license term. We bought a license for 2 years, without any discount wrt the 1 year license deal. Within the year, we already needed to extend the number of licensed users so we had to upgrade the license. We then had no way to recover a part of the investment of the remaining time of the initial license ... never buy more than 1 year! One last BIG negative is the recent forced move to cloud. We have always ran Jira and Atlassian products on prem. A recent decision by Atlassian is forcing the user away from the current on prem solution. This is simply not what we want or can. I'm sure this will be an issues with several European organizations where the move to cloud wrt GDRP is not that easy or not a company priority.
