Great Cloud Files Editor, But with Few Collaboration Capabilities

Kommentare: My overall experience with Lumin pdf has been great only that I hope they add more collaboration capabilities to make collaborating on file editing effortless, especially for teams. It possesses advanced pdf editing capabilities, so I would still choose it for cloud files editing and documents signing.

Vorteile:

Excellent cloud-based support for file conversion, editing, sending and signing. It's seamlessly integrates with some of my software stack like Google workspace with significantly improve how I edit my files from cloud storage. It enables me to add comments to files which makes it easy for others reading the files.

Nachteile:

If you're looking for a more collaborative Pdf editor, lumin pdf may not be the best choice as it lacks most of collaboration features such as team editing.

Nice features, but is it worth it?

Kommentare: Overall the app had nice features, but the free trial is limited and I don't know that the premium was worth it for the time being.

Vorteile:

Nachteile:

Simple to use, but very limited options

Kommentare: Lumin PDF is too limiting to be used efficiently. There are other apps that offer better options that are free or at least aren't so limiting in the free version. The layout & ease of using it is good, but it doesn't make up for the lack of capabilities in the free version.

Vorteile:

Lumin PDF offers a Google Chrome add-on & integrates with Google Drive. It is easy to navigate & use. The layout is simple. It is a good tool to fill & digitally sign documents.

Nachteile:

The free version is extremely limited. There are constant pop-ups to upgrade. It allows you to annotate a pdf, but in the free version you are unable to edit the pdf. Plus, with the free account, you can only have 3 documents to edit/share.

Lumin PDF - PDF powerhouse

Vorteile:

Lumin is an easy-to-use app for your PDF files. It offers many useful features and the fact that is integrated in Google Driver brings many advantages. It has a nice user interface and is very intuitive to work with.

Nachteile:

I admit, it is not perfect, but there is nothing worth mentioning here.

Lumin PDF

Vorteile:

I like Lumia PDF because is cloud base and I can be accesed my files on any device. Creating and editing PDF is easy due its user friendly and intuitive interface. Integrating with Google Drive offers more security and availability for my files.

Nachteile:

I did not encounter any problems since I started to use it.

Good Option if you are looking for something low cost

It's not as user-friendly as Adobe or other competitors

Lumin, best PDF app!

Kommentare: Overall experience is second to none. The best PDF viewer/editor by this time.

Vorteile:

You can easily view your PDFs, fill it up, and share it to your co-workers

Nachteile:

Some limitations on the features when you're not subscribe but compared to others, subscription costs lower.

There are too many issues when opening up a google doc on the software

Vorteile:

The cleanliness of e-signature and detailed stroke

Nachteile:

Getting lost of saved files must be have a separated safe drive

So far so good.

Vorteile:

Easy install. So far I'm comparing it to Nitro PDF.

Nachteile:

The install time wasn't bad at all, I can't say I've run into anything so far in trying this out.

Lumin helps in office productivity due to ease of use

Vorteile:

Work is no longer confined to an office. One may know be mobile, which helps in productivity. I also appreciate using Lumin for free.

Nachteile:

I have not fully appreciated the other tools of Lumin. Wish there is a tutorial.

Missing features we need

Vorteile:

I did a free trial of Lumin PDF to see if it would be a good tool for collaborative PDF editing of a magazine in which multiple users review simultaneously. Pros are that it was similar to Adobe Acrobat and fairly easy to navigate, just some differences that would take getting used to. If the PDF you upload has existing edits from Adobe, they will show up in the "notes" area.

Nachteile:

Unfortunately, this won't work for our team because you cannot replace text or upload files as an attachment to the PDF (i.e. a new photo for the designer to implement in the layout). While you can share the PDF with anyone, they have to sign in to do any editing or commenting.

Kommentare: It's a great app although there's a lot to improve but it's good.

I like how fast it allows me to read PDF file

I don't like other features because I don't know the function of it.

Valuable PDF software

Kommentare: I am enchanted by using Lumin PDF. It is a great PDF software.

Vorteile:

Lumin PDF processes and views almost all types of PDF formats. It also converts most office documents to PDF.

Nachteile:

Did not find any flaws while using this extremely useful and efficient PDF viewer software as well as converter.

Simple PDF sofware

Kommentare: Overall, I like how simple it was to operate. It's simple to modify and excellent for document signing.

Vorteile:

Because Lumin is part of the Google Drive platform, using it is quite simple. It is simple to use every day to sign and amend papers and offers a wide range of capabilities. Lumin is far superior to document printing and scanning. I heartily endorse it.

Nachteile:

At first, Google Drive's file saving or reuploading feature could seem a bit confusing. The Lumin PDF is also a bit challenging to utilize. Even though it has an excellent solution, occasionally Lumin loses its connection to Google Drive without warning, and I have to enter it again.

After years of searcing ,finally found the perfect PDF editor - Lumin

Kommentare: Have been using Lumin for over 2 years almost on a daily basis without any issues.

Vorteile:

Extremely easy to use, intuitive design and does exactly what you want it to do, edit PDFs! Also very handy for signatures.

Nachteile:

Nothing really, after years of trying to find a product that worked well without distortion, watermarks or hefty price tags, this product is perfect!

Decent software but somewhat expensive

Vorteile:

The signature feature was what drew me to the software and it worked excellent. Thankfully I only needed to sign 1 document. I did not have to use the editing options much, but for my limited needs, it worked very well. The integration with Google Drive makes uploading your files very easy.

Nachteile:

The limited signatures for the free version is, well, a limitation. But so long as you don't need to sign a lot of documents per month, it's not an issue. It's a little confusing when editing a document how to get back to the "home" screen where your documents are, but once your figure that out (trial and error), it's a quick recall.

Great Product

Vorteile:

I love the cloud collaboration between our team members in the same pdf. Also, the app is really good and it provides an easy access to all my files and status reviews. Also, integrations with other apps are great.

Nachteile:

Paying for it, although I think is an affordable and worth the investment,

A supportive system in building out our company org chart

Kommentare: I never needed to call customer support. Everything always worked as needed.

Vorteile:

Lumin was helpful in creating a manual company org chart that grew as our company did.

Nachteile:

When editing a huge chart, it was challenging at times to move cells around central in the chart to make room for new employees.

Free trial saved me a lot of extra work and stress

Kommentare: Very easy to use. Trying to change some documents to pdf fillable usage for a few new clients due to needing information before seeing them due to COVID-19 situation.

Vorteile:

I was glad that they offered a free trial because I was in need of having a pdf option for some very important documents that needed to be done ASAP. I am glad that this was here and it was very easy to use during a very stressful time.

Nachteile:

The cost of the program once trial period was completed. I would have continued to use this product as needed for my new clients but I do not get enough new clients to use this on a daily basis in order to get my money's worth.

Great for PDFs in Gmail

Integration into google workspace has been a lifesaver in the transition to work from home.

Nachteile:

there are a couple features that I wish had a basic free option. being able to create certain vector shapes (like an arrow) would be helpful. Also being able to use a camera to capture your signature

Great Product

Vorteile:

The feature that I use the most is the saved signatures. My boss is a busy man and is traveling between different regions. I use this feature when I am doing evaluations for my employees to get their raises, and I'll email him to get his approval, but I've got his signature saved from a previous document that I can apply. So ky employees get their raises a lot faster than having to wait on my boss to be in town and physically sign them.

Nachteile:

I haven't used this product enough to have any dislikes about it.

Lumini PDF review

Kommentare: Overall a good option to preview the pdf and not downloding it

Vorteile:

It's ability to give online acces to pdf and thus no need to download and spam the memory

Nachteile:

Sometimes the large PDFs don't get previewed on emails directly

Simple and Efficient!

Vorteile:

I appreciate that the program is seamless as it opens whenever I open a document. It's also highly convenient to send back signed files in whatever messaging platforms.

Nachteile:

Maybe have a more user friendly mobile version of the app would be useful for my use case.
