Kommentare: Ein Tool für die Event-Planung und Durchführung, das es in dieser Breite UND Tiefe kaum ein zweites Mal gibt.

Vorteile:

Wer Cvents Event-Software für mehrere Veranstaltungen oder komplexe Veranstaltungen nutzt, profitiert vom mega großen Leistungsumfang unterschiedlichster Module. Von der Registrierung, über die Event-Website bis zur Online-Event-Plattform, dem Check-In, dem Reporting und vielem mehr. So kommen alle Daten aus einem Topf und können effizient innerhalb des Cvent-Systems genutzt und an andere IT-Systeme, wie CRM & Co., übergeben werden. Aber auch die Daten von Ausstellern oder Referenten lassen sich wesentlich effizienter managen. Kein Update an 100 Stellen, sondern eine zentrale Eingabe und Änderungen in Echtzeit an anderen Stellen. Z.B. im Registrierungsformular und zeitgleich auf der Event-Website.

Nachteile:

Weil die Lösung so umfangreich ist, kann die Einarbeitung herausfordernd sein. Wer nur ein Einzelevent hat, sollte sich professionelle Unterstützung holen oder mit einer längeren Einarbeitungszeit rechnen.

An Event Management Must!

Vorteile:

The software is feature-rich from the planning stages of an event through to the execution. WYSIWYG site development, conditional logic in emails and easy-to-develop registration process make planning easy. OnArrival and Attendee Hub make the constituent experience seamless and positive.

Nachteile:

The libraries available to store your event documents and graphics need an update for ease-of-use.

Cvent Event Management is the best event management software!

Kommentare: Our experience with Cvent is among the best relationships I've ever had with a vendor. The customer service is exceptional. They anticipate our needs and have solutions read for us. We speak to our account manager quarterly and our customer support every other month.

Vorteile:

We use Cvent Event Management to manage our events and membership database. We use Cvent for event set-up, registration, speaker management, sponsor and exhibitor interaction, attendee engagement, and feedback afterward. Cvent has streamlined our processes, allowing a small staff to concentrate on other activities related to our conferences and providing a better experience for our attendees.

Nachteile:

The learning curve was steep. Once we were familiar with it, we could quickly set up events. The products that are still being updated, like Abstract Management, are not as user-friendly as the updated products.

Cvent Event Education Services

Vorteile:

Great software program for educational services learning how to manage events and the proper documents needed (i.e., RFP).

Nachteile:

There are no instructions or examples on how to accurately and properly fill out certain documents and forms, such as a request for proposal form.

Cvent Event Management offers a comprehensive solution that streamlines the entire event planning process. The platform seamlessly integrates essential features including event setup, speaker coordination, and attendee registration management. Event organizers can easily handle sponsor and exhibitor interactions, coordinate sessions, and foster participant engagement through interactive tools. A standout feature is the platform's user-friendly website builder and mobile app creation tools, which enhance the event experience while requiring minimal technical expertise.

Nachteile:

Cvent, while powerful, comes with a significant cost investment, making it most cost-effective for our larger-scale events. The platform's training resources are somewhat restrictive – comprehensive learning opportunities are primarily available through the annual Cvent CONNECT conference or in the Community webinars. This limitation can impact new users' ability to fully utilize the platform's capabilities.

Kommentare: Once I read and understand the program, its easy with tutorials and articles in the help section to figure out what I want to do step by step. If those do not work there is an excellent customer service to assist.

Vorteile:

The ease of use, the valuable data that it compiles, and the ease for the attendees.

Nachteile:

I dont think there isnt anything I do not like about the Event Management.

Evolving Event Management Platform

Kommentare: Cvent keeps updating and adding features as we, the users, request them. It's filled with so many features that can be turned off and on as desired.

Vorteile:

It's easy to set up professional looking registration websites. Our attendees can register in 5 minutes, including requesting hotel rooms and flights.

Nachteile:

Some of the registration type setups take a little time to set up - requires some pre-planning on the event manager's part.

Easy to Use; professional

The Cvent Event Management Platform is so easy to use! The team at Cvent sets you up for success, training you and your team to build your own registration systems and event emails. This allows you to have full, customizable control of the product and create a seamless and branded experience for your users.

Nachteile:

The cost is a bit higher than some other platforms, particularly if you only have limited use for the system.

Cvent Event Management - System Administrator POV

Kommentare: Cvent is a necessity for our business to conduct events. We have a mature Strategic Meetings Management process in place and have customized our instance of Cvent to meet our needs for notifications, approvals and checklists for planner documents so we can close out budgets.

Vorteile:

As an administrator focused on Cvent reporting, the access to most elements of meetings is made easy with the report templates in the system. In most cases, you can mix and match different data points within a report rather than run multiple reports and append data. Any time data manipulation is involved the integrity of the data can be compromised. The ability to set some parameters prior to running the report, incorporating filters, and easily move columns makes the reporting aspect user friendly. The ability to publish reports to Access Portal also allows on-demand reporting by non Cvent-licensed users without having to ask someone else to run the report.

Nachteile:

Some data is not accessible from the client interface of Cvent reports, such as Peak Nights as entered in the meeting request form. I also wish more data was available within the report templates in the Admin Reporting module, such as Meeting ID in the Meetings Management Notification Delivery Report. Overall it's a great product and we have a fantastic support team available to help as needed.

You Get What You Pay For

Kommentare: There are many options available to help you learn, including how-to guides, online trainings/certifications, user groups, and customer service. The ability to save events as templates so you do not need to reinvent the wheel (and so you can keep sites consistent) is invaluable.

Vorteile:

The system is very robust and offers just about any capability you may want. Similar products often have limitations to what they offer so they come with a lower price tag. If you need a robust system with the capability to customize reports and data, the higher price tag is worth the cost and will save you time and stress as a result. Customer service is easy to get in touch with and work with any issue you may have. They're also quite receptive to feedback regarding functionality.

Nachteile:

It can feel a bit daunting at first because there are so many items to learn. Some items have limits to their functionality which can get frustrating, but it's no different that similar platforms I've used over the years.

Overall a great platform with several integrated solutions

Vorteile:

I like that the management portion of the platform integrates with all of their solutions and tools across the platform.

Nachteile:

Currently, my least favorite part of the event management portion is the reporting feature. It is hard to create the reports we need with the limited flexibility. Our internal team has a hard time understanding reports.

Vorteile:

Cvent Event Management works with you from the start to the end of your event, allowing you to have a good working picture of even the largest-scale events. The ease of use of Cvent features makes it a stress-free tool, which I know I can rely upon through my work.

Nachteile:

Some of the features have become a little outdated, however Cvent is constantly working to update features, and they really listen to their customers about what is important to them.

Postive & user Friendly

Kommentare: I have been using Cvent since my past 2 organisations for different products.One good thing is it's user friendly, once you start exploring its simple but there should be some FAQ kind of Video simulations which might help the user incase they are stuck with a feature within a feature

Powerful Event Management with Marketing

Kommentare: Overall, it has been a good experience with Cvent Event Management. I appreciate the support team that helped us setup the software and also answered to our queries afterwards. I think support is extremely important when using software. I love that we can run email marketing campaigns right from the software which saves a lot of time as I don't have to export all contact information and characteristics to other email marking software.

Vorteile:

The customer support of Cvent is top notch. Once, I couldn't figure out how to do a simple thing and I reached out to support and they seemed to be happy to help me. Regarding feature, I like the attendee management feature and the ability to export event reports. This makes it easier to plan further event.

Nachteile:

There can be significant learning curve. I personally roamed around the software for week before I could use it as I wanted to. I wish the developers focused on user experience because I believe there is definitely rooms for improvement. However, once we learn - its a powerful piece of amazing software.

A great solution for all your event management needs

I like that Cvent Event Management has an amazing customer support service and that they provide all the tools I need for efficiently and securely managing my company's events.

Nachteile:

I think there could be improvements in terms of website and registration design and customizability.

Solid Product But Deceptive Sales Tactics

Vorteile:

Cvent offers a robust event management platform, complemented by an efficient abstract management system. The suite is enriched with extensive training resources, facilitating seamless deployment of event websites and meeting applications.

Nachteile:

We recently encountered a significant issue with Cvent. Despite upgrading our services, we were inaccurately charged for onsite equipment and additional items we no longer utilize. Efforts to resolve this through the sales representative have been ongoing for months, with little progress. Upon reviewing past communications, it's evident that the charges contradict the terms discussed during our upgrade. The response from the current sales representative, attributing the error to a predecessor and offering a credit conditional on a three-year renewal, is disappointing and unprofessional. This approach has unfortunately tarnished our long-standing relationship with Cvent.

Cvent Event Management from new user

Vorteile:

It is user-friendly. Cvent offers trainings on the platform, as well as a support phone number and email.

Nachteile:

It can seem overwhelming for a new user. It is so robust and has so many avenues to take. Initial training is needed for a new user, instead of just being self-taught by reading and watching videos alone.

One-Stop-Shop for Events

Vorteile:

The platform is easy to use for the smallest or largest of events. You can capture all of the information needed to have a successful event.

Nachteile:

It can be difficult to understand the language being used often researching features to better understand the set-up. The language isn't as intuitive as I would like.

Kommentare: Tried Cvent for an event around 400-500 people in a venue along with other software, results were great.

Vorteile:

Provides real-time view from registration to attending an event, can be managed agendas and sessions with single click, allows multiple users, even during the event and at the end it can generate reports and gives analytics.

Nachteile:

Still lots of features can be added into the product.
