The platform's biggest strength is its ability to consolidate B2B e-commerce, customer self-service portals and digital order management into one coherent solution. For agencies like ours, this makes it a reliable foundation for building scalable, ERP-integrated commerce architectures for mid-market and enterprise clients.

> **Nachteile**: The platform performs best when internal processes on the client side are already well defined. Companies that haven't yet structured their B2B workflows will need to invest in process design before getting the most out of avanta. That's not a shortcoming of the software itself, but it's worth setting the right expectations upfront.

Our SAP S/4HANA system remains the single source of truth, while avanta handles exactly those processes that SAP alone could not map efficiently, especially shipping cost calculation, customer-specific pricing and the clear presentation of our product range. The close, hands-on support from the avanta team made the implementation feel well guided from start to finish.

> **Nachteile**: The initial setup of product data and attribute maintenance was time-consuming, mainly because our master data structure was complex and we did not have a central PIM system in place. That was more of an internal challenge than a limitation of avanta, but a built-in PIM module would make onboarding even smoother.
