Vorteile:

Canvas ist easy to use. Außerdem kann man aus sein Account jeder Zeit zugreifen. Also man benötigt nur ein Endgerät (Handy, Notebook).

Nachteile:

Ich habe keine Nachteile herausgefunden.

Vorteile:

Free usage facility of canvas is the best thing of this software. It helps million of students around the world to get free education and teachers to provide their thoughts. To get advance features there is paid version of canvas which is more impactful. It is easy to use for user basically students.

Nachteile:

Slow loading time and some features do not work properly which are disturbance of canvas.

I like that canvas is a very easy useful tool for online classes for students who are unable to make it to lecture/class also a great tool for individuals who need easily access material

Although canvas is a easy usable software tool, it takes a few months of getting used to

Canvas was not a good fit for us. Training seemed to be lacking

Kommentare: The sales person was very nice and told us all the great things we'd be able to do with Canvas. I'm sure other districts can and are. It was simply not a good fit for us. We're not a large school, about 1900 students. Near the end of our time with Canvas, it was nothing more than the teachers' Canvas pages with a link to their Google Classroom. It was an expensive bookmark.

Vorteile:

The look of the program was good. The support attempted to help but seemed to lack the understanding that we needed to start from the beginning. We had ONE teacher in the district familiar with Canvas from a previous school.

Nachteile:

While customer support helped as much as possible, they didn't seem to understand that we had never used Canvas. The trainer they sent out started as if we already had years of knowledge of using the program. We didn't. The transfer of data from our SIS was a nightmare.

Canvas is a teacher during asynchronous times of teaching & learning

Kommentare: It includes a powerful system for creating and grading assignments. Setting deadlines, including rubrics, and providing thorough instructions. The SpeedGrader tool streamlines the grading process by allowing professors to quickly annotate entries and provide feedback. Canvas also supports a range of evaluation modes, including quizzes, surveys, and peer reviews. I feel more in control during briefing session with students, I depend a lot on Canvas during teaching. Helps a lot in brining parity in big education teams.

Vorteile:

I can easily organise course content, upload files, embed multimedia, and create modules for structured learning. The drag-and-drop functionality makes it convenient to rearrange elements within the course, ensuring a seamless learning journey for students. The best thing I find in this is that Canvas provides various communication tools, including announcements, discussions, and messaging. These features facilitate interaction between me and my students, fostering engagement and participation. Even during asynchronous times, my students are still connected to their classrooms.

Nachteile:

Interface could be more seamless for a beginner. But now that I have used it so many times, it is not longer any problem.
