Very happy with Paycom

Kommentare: payroll has been much easier to do over the past 7 years

Vorteile:

live personal support during set up and always a phone call or e-mail away for answers to new concerns or issues with our payroll

Nachteile:

not always being told about changes/updates

Easy to use system for small businesses

Vorteile:

Paycom was very user friendly because it was not a very robust system.

Nachteile:

Paycom has very limited reporting capabilities. The system was too antiquated for the size of my company which was growing.

Paycom - A well-rounded HRIS system

Kommentare: Overall happy with the system. There are always improvements we wish were available, and Paycom is willing to submit these suggestions as future improvements - but the system works for our needs with an employee count that falls within the 200-500 range.

Vorteile:

The functionality just makes sense. We are able to use all of the benefits of the system together to have some automations within our HRIS system.

Nachteile:

The lack of integration with other systems. We really want our other vendors/retirement services/etc. to have 360 integrations.

PayCom Review

Kommentare: Used several other payment platforms before, but Paycom is certainly the easiest and most efficient.

Vorteile:

Ease of use - very transparent about payments, documentation. EXTREMELY straight forward process and great interface

Nachteile:

No issues thus far with paycom. Easy to access online as well as mobile version of application

Not just a payroll system

Kommentare: Overall, paycom offers everything we need to make payroll easy for our employees. From onboarding to payroll and everything in between paycom checks the boxes.

Vorteile:

Paycom is really easy to use for both me as a manager and for my employees. I like that there is an in depth desk top version and a quick on the go app version.

Nachteile:

I wish the cost for additional integrations was more budget friendly.

Payroll review

Kommentare: Overall, I have had a pleasant and good experience

Vorteile:

The ease of the reporting and the use of Paycom for Payroll.

Nachteile:

I wish we got the State tax reports and I wish we could configure the PTO better. Also, I wish it was a better way to pay OT to salary employees when the law went into effect in July.

Paycom is a virtual HR Team member!

I LOVE Paycom

Kommentare: I LOVE Paycom. I've been with Paycom since 2016 and have converted two different companies/employers. I always tell people that no software is perfect, but Paycom is as close as it gets for me. It's a great, all-inclusive platform that is easy to use and highly customizable!

Vorteile:

It's an all-in-one system that is user friendly!

Nachteile:

Some customer experience has been lost as the company has grown. It makes absolutely makes sense from a streamlining, efficiency and liability standpoint, but the personal touch/assistance also decreases with these changes.

Much Improved

Kommentare: Our experience has greatly improved over the course of the last year to 18 months and that has kept us as a Paycom client.

Vorteile:

The dedicated support team and account representative have been extremely helpful and try to assist us with any issues and advise us on what is best for our company and employees.

Nachteile:

The lack of flexibility for our company's special circumstances and one-off needs.

PayCom Experience

Kommentare: Overall, we have been with PayCom almost 6 years. The majority of our contact people have been very good. They tend to promote their people quickly so transitioning to a new rep can be a challenge.

Vorteile:

They did an excellent job onboarding us. The initial training and involvement for our first year was great. They really made us feel welcome.

Nachteile:

It has taken awhile to address our attendance point challenges.

Paycom is the better alternative

Kommentare: Overall I have really enjoyed the ease of use and streamlined experience.

Vorteile:

Paycom has all the same benefits that the big names like ADP have for a better price.

Nachteile:

PTO accruals and usage is somewhat confusing.

Payroll is easy with Paycom!

Kommentare: Our agency has been with Paycom since 2018 and customer service is fantastic.
From transitioning from another payroll provider to ongoing support for day to day issues, I have received prompt and friendly service.

Vorteile:

Straight forward and easy to explain to employees

Nachteile:

Some updates have changed the way some reports are generated that are not as user friendly.

The things we like the most about Paycom are the platform is easy to use, HR abilities for reviews and furthering education, and having a specific rep to go to when needed.

Nachteile:

At this time there are no cons or dislikes about Paycom.

Big Fan for nearly 10 years

Kommentare: When we started, Paycom was solely used for Payroll. As [sensitive content hidden], I implemented the ATS and it changed the way our business operations worked in the hiring sphere.

Vorteile:

Timekeeping that aligns with California Meal Premium regulations.

Nachteile:

Candidate tracking and scheduling interviews with hiring managers and candidates is wonky. Paycom messages to employees would be soooo much better received if rather than coming from a "paycom" address, it could be tailored to come from a custom address from our company.

STAY AWAY!! Lies, lies, lies: Potentially powerful product lacks support to resolve issues or run as promised

Kommentare: I have never experienced a worse, more unsatisfying service experience in my personal or professional life than I have with Paycom. If it was easier to switch away from Paycom, we would have been with a competitor once I realized that Paycom's business is selling lies. Paycom operates with no integrity. A review of our account would show thousands of written and verbal communications regarding an array of issues that spans nearly everything Paycom is supposed to do for us, but it's staff is either too busy or too unfamiliar with the Paycom software to fix most of the issues. Lack of movement on these issues has been communicated to varying levels of management on multiple arms of Paycom's hierarchy. Our issues started during implementation with a backend setup person who encouraged our company to break laws because he did not know how to properly calibrate settings to match legal guidelines. It seems like nothing he did was correct. Here we are 2 years later with many of the issues still unsettled and we as customers still voicing our concerns whenever we have time to follow up on the trail of unresponded to communications. Despite all this, Paycom has never offered credits for any of these issues nor solutions for many that are still outstanding. I am repulsed every time I see an ad for Paycom knowing that they are spending money to scam new, unsuspecting customers into signing on rather than using those funds to properly train staff. If Paycom's poor organizational design and policies weren't bad enough, they also seem to be hampered by inadequate infrastructure. Both winters that we have been with Paycom, they have not been able to to operate with full functionality because the staff (which they claimed was local) is unable to get to work due to the seasonal freezes and bad weather that has been increasingly frequent in Texas. During these times, it seems as if much of the staff works from home since they cannot make it to the office. In our case, our assigned representative did not have the ability to work from home and became unreachable during the crucial end of the year period when we needed assistance with tasks such as correcting W2s, setting up special funding arrangements to accommodate the holidays, and updating the many new minimum wages in all of our different jurisdictions. I feel for those who are personally impacted in these situations, but payroll is the type of function that you have to be able to depend on all of the time. This company is such a joke.

Vorteile:

Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) Potential to be accommodating of most anything you need it to do in the payroll arena

Nachteile:

Horrible customer service - Paycom is so customizable that representatives are unfamiliar with how their own software works or how changing one setting will impact other settings They sell it like your assigned representative will assist you with things, but in reality, it is hard to get a hold of your actual rep and when you do get a hold of someone, they usually just try to make you do everything yourself. It seems like they do this so that they can later say that the customer made the change and is responsible for any of the ramifications even if you did what you were told to do.

Customer Service is Great with Paycom!

Kommentare: 13 years with Paycom. Had some billing problems but product has always been stable.

Smoothest implementation ever

Kommentare: Overall we are very happy with the product. It was easy to get set up and I find myself looking to use more and more of the fields and options because the reporting is really great! It has been a pretty quick learning curve because the interface is pretty user friendly.

Vorteile:

The implementation process was quick and fairly straight forward. Our sales person remained on our account as support throughout the implementation process and that was comforting. We had a timeline and we were able to adhere to it and processed our first payroll on time. When we had questions, we received answers quickly by reps that we recognized. The general ledger reporting is also easy to update and customize.

Nachteile:

We had a couple issues with benefits implementation. It was a little difficult to understand what we were setting up and how it would all flow through. May recommend asking for a benefits specific demo. We also have had to file a few jurisdictions that have cost some extra fees that I didn't think about up front it may be nice to do a review before implementation of what may be needed.

Vorteile:

It allows the human resources area to have control of the entire database of all employees on the same platform, allowing for better performance and better information capacity to generate payroll and better management of active personnel. Its configuration execution was long but its entire configuration was perfect, which did not allow errors to be generated regarding payroll or personnel due to having tools that manage the processes of each employee very well.

Nachteile:

Every update it has had takes a long time to reconfigure but I don't understand why it is because of the tools and information that is handled, the entire execution process has always been perfect without failures

PayCom Software

Kommentare: Very good time keeping and self-service employee software online and via App. All features are right at your fingertips. Direct communication with HR or Payroll departments if needed.

Vorteile:

All of its empolyee self-serve features online and via the app.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the time off request, remaining balance and other features can be confusing.

My Experience with Paycom

Kommentare: Great, even if there's an issue its easy to contact Paycom and work through the issue and final a solution. I personally think its user friendly as well.

Vorteile:

I like that when I have an issue I can call my Paycom representative for questions. It helpful especially when I am running Payroll and in a time crunch.

Nachteile:

I only had a couple times where updates have been a downgrade for features I regularly used. Like not being able to download supporting doc from reimbursement as a batch instead now it one by one.

Great platform

Kommentare: Overall, I like Paycom and would recommend it to others to use.

Vorteile:

Paycom's functionality is great compared to other payroll systems I have used. I like that it is all in one spot. I also enjoy that you can customize the documents employees / supervisor's sign.

Nachteile:

I have experienced working with a customer service rep that knew less than I did about the system. While Paycom does have "team" for your account, it isn't always helpful. It would be nice if Paycom worked better with other accounts, such as benefit providers.
