You can customize each port to provide a specific function ex. network uplink, storage appliance, etc. > > **Nachteile**: The Fabric interconnect is very picky about what sfp's you can use i have only been able to get cisco branded sfp's to work. none of the cisco compatible sfp's that i have come across have worked.
