Finally, one recurring technical question is the presence of leftover files on my computer after conversion, more specifically files such as pdf\_40.jpg and pdf\_40.webp. I understand that image assets may be generated during conversion for rendering and optimization, but the role these files play (and why they persist on disk) is unclear to me.
