Unfortunately, my experience has been consistently disappointing, and I can no longer recommend this company to businesses that depend on reliable payment processing. This is not based on a single incident. It is the result of repeated problems over a long period, including payment delays, poor communication, contradictory information, and a complete lack of accountability. One of the biggest issues is transparency. WeTravel's automated emails state that bank transfers generally take \*\*3–5 business days\*\*. However, when those days pass and you contact support, you may be told that the 3–5 business days only begin \*\*after an MT103 transfer document has been generated\*\*, effectively extending the waiting period well beyond what customers are initially led to expect. If this is the actual process, it should be disclosed from the beginning instead of providing misleading timelines. Customer support has also been extremely frustrating. Emails often go unanswered for days, even when the issue involves money that belongs to your business. Even in 2026, WeTravel still does not provide a customer support phone number. When thousands of dollars are involved, relying only on email is unacceptable. In my experience, agents have often provided inconsistent answers and seemed unable to resolve problems efficiently. One incident permanently damaged my trust in the company. A customer accidentally filed a chargeback because they did not recognize the transaction on their bank statement. Instead of first investigating the situation, WeTravel immediately threatened legal action unless I repaid the amount. I contacted my client directly, who confirmed it was an honest mistake and apologized. The issue was resolved because of my own efforts, yet WeTravel never acknowledged the unnecessary escalation, apologized, or compensated me for the disruption. They also continued holding two outgoing transfers during the process. I have never had a history of fraudulent transactions. The few chargebacks I have experienced were either genuine customer mistakes or situations where I was the victim of customer fraud. In one case, the customer later admitted they were wrong and paid the money back. Despite this record, WeTravel has repeatedly held my funds for extended periods without providing a clear explanation. At the time of writing this review, approximately \*\*$500\*\* of my money has been withheld for more than a month. The client completed the retreat long ago, the services were delivered, and the money belongs to my business. I have repeatedly asked for an explanation and have not received one. Small businesses depend on predictable cash flow to pay employees, suppliers, taxes, rent, and operating expenses. Delaying legitimate payments without clear communication places the financial burden entirely on the merchant. After nearly two years using this platform, I have lost confidence in WeTravel. The recurring delays, poor communication, inconsistent customer service, and repeated issues involving withheld funds have seriously affected my business. I have submitted complaints to the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission because I believe these concerns deserve attention. My request is simple: release the funds that belong to my business, or provide a clear and timely explanation for why they are being withheld. If your business depends on receiving payments quickly and having access to responsive customer support, I encourage you to carefully evaluate the risks before choosing WeTravel.
