Getting better but still needs reporting

Vorteile:
The automation and defaults have gotten a lot better. The sync function to QB & Sage Intacct works pretty well and decreases duplicative effort. The security around users and banking is well-designed. The note functionality is great for communicating with my staff and maintaining history. Customer support is generally good.
Nachteile:
The reporting is definitely lacking. Running filtered reports is limited and cumbersome. I end up running huge reports when I only need one vendor's history. The sync function works well when it works, but the sync errors can be really complicated. Sometimes, support doesn't get what you're trying to accomplish - it doesn't seem like they all have experience using the product.

Kommentare: Having implemented BILL for over 20 clients, I truly believe it the software's ability to help company's manage their finances in the best of ways. Now with their continued integration of the Spend & Expense platform, it is becoming a one-stop-shop for your business financial needs.
Vorteile:
BILL makes invoicing and payment processing so simple. I am able to quickly move through the entire life-cycle of my billing in record time. The workflows and automations help make business more efficient and I get to spend more time focusing on the future of the company's I help.
Nachteile:
While BILL has been great there are some updates I believe would make things more relevant and easier. Specifically when a check is automatically voided after 90 days, the void is made using the original payment date instead of the void date. This could cause issues in reporting when integrating with QBO.

Kommentare: I am extremely disappointed with Bill.com’s service. The process of verifying my account has been unnecessarily complex, frustrating, and riddled with delays. Despite submitting multiple identification documents (including my driver’s license, utility bill, and bank statement), they insisted on a selfie holding my ID—something I’ve never encountered even when opening bank accounts. This experience was reminiscent of dealing with a crypto scam company rather than a legitimate financial service provider. The delays in receiving my payment, the constant requests for more documentation, and the lack of transparency in their verification process left me with serious concerns about their credibility. Even after all my submissions, I was told that further delays would occur, taking several more business days. I’ve worked with major financial institutions, and they handle similar processes in a fraction of the time. Bill.com’s overly complex verification requirements and poor communication have severely impacted my trust in their service. Once I receive my payment, I will be canceling my account and ensuring my data is securely removed from their systems. I would not recommend Bill.com to anyone who values efficient, straightforward, and transparent financial service.

The verification process was overly complex, with constant requests for documentation and significant delays, making it extremely difficult to receive payments efficiently.

Very simple to use
Kommentare: Overall I appreciate the ease of use and all the features on BILL Accounts Payable & Receivable; it is very simple to use and very practical.
Vorteile:
I like the timeliness of the invoices and it comes right to my app on my phone.
Nachteile:
I thought it would provide an itemized breakdown of earnings but it does not automatically appear under the invoices. It is not very detailed.

Kommentare: I would not be at my current role without BILL because I would not be able to manage the entire AP, AR, and accounting functions without it. It's a must-have!
Vorteile:
BILL allows me as a controller to cut down on headaches and time spent with paper documents and old processes. BILL is an automation tool for the future that allows an AP clerk to 10x their productivity.
Nachteile:
BILL is fairly expensive, but it is not an all-in-one solution to you must use it as an integrated solution although it often tops the price of the solutions its integrated into.
