While the tool does come with very useful "canned" reports, and can be easily further customized with additional reports, having the ability to support on-the-fly, ad hoc, data interrogation would help tremendously. > > One of the chief benefits of real-time access to data is the ability to make better decisions faster. Further, one simply cannot do effective risk-based monitoring (RBM) in the absence of timely data. For improvements, I think that a "new user" training or introduction to Target's software would be beneficial because not all colleagues in clinical research have used this type of software in the past.
