Most other products I was looking at only offer trials. We started out with this and over time then we switched to more users. It is well designed and easy to use but at the same time, it has a lot of features. First, when I started to use it, I was not sure about the fact that matterial uses markdown to store the written content. But as soon as I wrote some documents a really started to appreciate the simple but powerful markdown formatting, because I can directly format while I am typing without having to use the format toolbar and it gives me full control. Last but not least, it forces you to focus on content and not fancy formatting. Also, bringing the content on our web site is much easier getting clear and simple document content without all the Html stuff that other systems spit out. We are using the easy matterial APIs to do that and our developers loved it. > > **Nachteile**: The mobile app is missing but the web app works well on my iPhone so it is ok.
