Gute Ansätze - viel Potential nach oben.

Kommentare: Die Ansätze sind gut - es gehört aber für die hohen Kosten sehr viel verbessert.

Vorteile:

Es geht gut auf die Bedürftnisse von Architektur ein. Die Verbindung von 2D und 3D ist sehr praktisch.

Nachteile:

Das Hochladen des Softwareschlüssel ist mühsam (Bei Verwendung von Laptop und PC). Viele Klicks. Da mal anmelden. Mühsam. Und wenn der Softwareschlüssel heruntergeladen wird wird man tatsächlich gefragt, ob man fortfahren möchte, anstatt, dass das Programm einfach hochfährt. Das Wording ist sehr altertümlich. Das laden von dwg wird "Interoperabilität" genannt - klingt nach DDR. Generell gehört die Oberfläche einmal komplett gereinigt und erneuert. Siehe zB die intuitive Oberfläche von Rhino. Die Auswahl von Objekten ist mehr als mühsam. Siehe auch hier die Einfachheit bei Rhino, Autocad,...

Archicad für Architekturstudierende

Vorteile:

2D Zeichnungen erstellen, Grundrisse, Lagepläne, etc

Nachteile:

3D Modelle erstellen ist relativ schwierig und besonders runde Formen sind fast unmöglich. Alles ist auf einfaches Einfamilienhaus entwerfen ausgerichtet

ArchiCAD - was sonst…

Vorteile:

Die intuitive Bedienung und die geordnete Menüstruktur sprechen für einfaches und schnelles Arbeiten.

Nachteile:

Die automatische Massenermittlung ist noch nicht ausgereift; die vorgegebene Layerstruktur ist nicht jedermanns Sache.

The best program for modeling in architecture

Kommentare: For my experience its a program that can run smothly in an ordinary PC, also has an amazing backup, the times that I expirience this programg crashing I didnt lose anything. You can model really big proyects and it doesnt have any problem.
And last but not least, like every program that can be used for professionals as for students it's amazing that they have a student free version.

Vorteile:

I Love that in first place is a really intuitive software, the first time that you use this program you can see how easy is to find every tool. The other thing that is a really awsome feature in this program is the costumisation of every single thing, you dont have to download almost any object to compleate the 3d, even the simplification of objects is excelent, you can for example place a door with a lot of details or just a realy minimalistic door from the same object. The integration with other apps is amazing, from my experience this is a really important factor for a good 3d modeling software,

Nachteile:

What I like the least of this software after 7 years of using it is the making of the ramps, it's not as customizable as the stairs.

Love Archicad!

Kommentare: I've been using Archicad for over 6 years and plan to always use it because I like it so much. Never want to use Revit haha

Vorteile:

Can model both schematically and detailed. Like the aesthetics of the 3d window. Love graphic overrides. I'm a mac user so its nice to not have to spilt my operating system to accommodate a pc based software.

Nachteile:

Wish its object library were more residential focused.

Worst optimization ever experienced

Vorteile:

Its a bim program and thats about it i think.

Nachteile:

The only reason we use archicad is simply that it is slightly better than revit. The problem with the program is that instead of cleaning up the extreme amount of mess they simply add useless new features constantly... which piles ontop of a thousand other useless things, making it less and less intuitive with every release. The absolute biggest problem though is simply how insanely badly optimized the program is. It simply doesnt matter how strong a computer you have... you will sit and wait for that blue circle spinning round and round for ages....

Archicad is too pricey

Great software for small and big projects

Kommentare: It's a good BIM software for the price, and good setup for small projects including interior works.

Vorteile:

Easy to build the models and generate the presentation and construction drawings.

Nachteile:

Take a while to get used to the software from AutoCAD.

Powerful piece of software that could rival Revit if Graphisoft could shift their approach

Vorteile:

Sometimes I like that archicad is less rigid than Revit. It's easy to create what you want and to get it to look the way it should. Rendering is a breeze. Some of the tools are beyond intuitive. They function exactly the way they should.

Nachteile:

This is BIM light. You will be piecing together your model using slabs to represent everything under the sun. You will fudge things with solid element operations that will keep you up at night. Archicad will force you to be inaccurate unless you fight it to your last breath. You'll curse Archicad's lack of ortho snaps. The inability to create "blocks" is utterly ridiculous and maddening. There are 20 ways to access every objects setting and it will confuse you to no end for the first year. Instead of fixing problems and consolidating settings, Graphisoft has decided that their mantra is "addition." If something doesn't work right, just add features so that no one notices what they're missing. Instead of giving users what they need, modify the GUI and give them a bunch of useless crap to try to get them to buy the newest version. This is sloppy software development at its finest. It's sad because if they spent a few years cleaning up the beast that they've created, it could be a match for Revit. As is, it's a severely bloated Sketchup pretending to be a BIM package.

Great software for anydesign orientated architectural practice

Kommentare: We recently made the switch from another CAD software to ArchCad and our overall experience is very positive. Great support from the ArchiCad team too.

Vorteile:

Easy switch between 2d and 3d information. Good render function. Great for teamwork. Easy to get qauntities.

Nachteile:

Cost are high. There should be a plugin for price calculation of design based on location and complexity. No plugin yet for Enscape for Mac users

Vorteile:

this software is very good thanks to its rendering, and with it you don't have to draw the internal elements of a house yourself.

Nachteile:

I find that the dashboard of the new versions of this software can disturb those who are not used to the previous versions.

Kommentare: very good for cooperating. and can handle big projects. Not the best for sketching.

Vorteile:

good for cooperation between betwwen all groups in a projects.Easy to crash-check possible collisions. good for comunication with both entreprenours and costumers.

Nachteile:

not always easy to get help when file shuts down. We used to work and save directly to a server. this did not work well with big models.

best 3d design software

Vorteile:

I enjoy Archicad because it is easier to use than most other CAD programmes. it contains lot of functions including presentation drawings, working drawings, rendering, and etc. It can also sketch, design, and create a model simultaneously. You don't need any other programmes to create 2D drawings or colour presentations.  BIM cloud makes it incredibly easy to operate with outside of the workplace.

Nachteile:

in this software no more thing which is dislikable. largely long-standing usability issues that I hope Graphisoft would address.The software has become so dense with capabilities, not to mention freshly added operations, that it can be hard to find.

From archicad, I like less the cost of the software, But still apart from that buying archicad is not à waste of money

Archicad for design solutions

Kommentare: It took me 1 month to learn and was able to do my first and real time project. I can easily use any version right now. Just amazing software

3D modeling in ArchiCAD is amarture friendly and the various tools provide great 3D output making for a superior work. Very easy to learn

Kommentare: I like this software alot, I have used it since version 9 and I expect to keep using it.

Vorteile:

Its a pretty easy to use software for making 3D models of our buildinga, and extracting 2D views of sections of the model to make constructyion documents. The 3D views one can generate within the software is very handy, and is sufficient for 90% of what i'd like to achive with a single software package.

Nachteile:

Surface rendering and choices of how to render the model could be improved alot. The Model View Options and Graphic Over-ride tools could be alot easier to understand and employ.

Vorteile:

Nachteile:

Archicad pushes the envelope that modern hardware can handle. We wish the program and the cloud based services were speedier. We also had problems with excessive crashes in AC 21, 23, and 24.

Rendering this feature missing some feature that why many user they use another program like Atlantis or lumion and 3D max during rendering so must be improved

The best 3D and 2D modelling software

Vorteile:

Is was able to generate both 2d and 3d at the same time, and it saves time for both customer and the foreman, because the client can get the pictorial views at the same time the drawings produced for implementation

Nachteile:

Rendering will need a better performing computer

archicad helps you

Kommentare: in general it is a good program, I do not think it is the best and by far it is not the most used

Vorteile:

It is easy to use, it is pleasant with the user, it has a vast library to use, it gives you a landscape more attached to 3D reality

Nachteile:

It is not always compatible with the most used programs and not everyone has access to it, there is a similar program with the company that has the largest number of users dedicated to the 2D sector, therefore fewer users know how to handle it

Watch your house before building it from A to Z with the ArchiCAD program

Kommentare: I think it is good enough for my and my friends' work experiences that he achieved with us a lot of structures and buildings

Vorteile:

I think it is moderate in the direction of the negatives from my personal experience that it only blames the program for its poor 3D output, but the 18th version of the program has added a socket for cinema and it is expected that the 19th version will see this socket, so they want to get rid of this negativity, which I think is the most important Negative in the program for me

archicad for bim and 3d

Kommentare: used daily in our office, the workflow is set up very well, drawings can be published quickly and with little effort, so it definitely is worth the money.

Vorteile:

from design to detailing we use the software in every design stage with buildings and landscape designs. 3D models and solutions can be achieved quickly and in depth.

Nachteile:

over the years it has become very detailed and comprehensive, sometimes (stairs e.g.) it has become overbloated a bit. very expensive when used together with the yearly subscription and updates.

Vorteile:

As an Architect it is important to have a good tool with you & i guess ArchiCAD is the first choice. as a young and aspiring architect i always wanted give a meaning to my design, This software help me to get a more practical approach to my work from the beginning of my design, I can work in more details of my project while managing it's 3-D model effortlessly. More control over model while drawing in 2-D is a plus. The more you will use it more will connect with the software.

Nachteile:

not much but the document manager is bit more complicated, it could more user friendly it will make our more easier.

The only challenge is in designing for large neighborhoods,it lags especially when using a low performing computer
