It took me a second to understand the workflow, but once I did, it became a snap to understand how everything worked together, and for anything else there's documentation available. The editor for images and the rich text editor are top notch. Folge makes it so easy to add steps, capture screenshots, zoom in, place cursors/arrows/numbering/highlighting...anything I’ve wanted to do, it’s had built in already\! And the best part is the export options. I can create PDFs, export quick HTML pages and markup I can throw into static docs sites, and it even has a direct Confluence integration that lets me add KB articles and ticket documentation in moments...so now my company is actually growing its internal processes knowledge base instead of just fixing tickets and having to figure things out again and again. It gives you the ability to customize your guides to a high degree: custom options for each step, customizable content sections that markup and code, the content editor even includes an AI-writer to generate content on the fly, and even more that I haven’t even managed to find yet. > > **Nachteile**: Compared with other software, it’s hard to think of a single thing... I guess I could say the thing Folge lacks most is: video. Folge doesn’t do video or audio recordings. Seriously, I can have Folge for all my needs for a great price, or I can pay nearly as much every month for a video clip at the top of my guides.
