Fantastic Hub for All Project Information

Kommentare: My overall experience with Procore has been great. I have used it as a subcontractor needing to bill on AIA documentation to a GC, but I have mostly used it from the general contractor's perspective. The depth of information and customization is great.

Vorteile:

Procore is a fantastic ERP system that can connect project management and accounting, as well, as external subcontractors, vendors, and owners. All information regarding a project can be found in one place, with permission setting available to prevent users from accessing things they should not.

Nachteile:

You are not able to drill down into budget line items to see what the breakdown of cost is. This may just be how our system is configured though since we do not enter expenses directly into Procore, but rather sync them from Sage Intacct.

Powerful platform that is uesful for contractors and owners alike.

Procore is an extensive construction management platform that combines most of the workflows from groundbreaking to punch list

Nachteile:

From a liability standpoint, all of the data and documents that reside within Procore must also be duplicated on local networks to ensure redundant access.

Terrible experience with the entire PROCORE system

Kommentare: Our experience with PROCORE started out great! They promised the world . My office staff spent dozens of hours training and working through how we planned to use the format. We were told the that PROCORE integrated seamlessly with XERO accounting and that they had already designed an integration program to facilitate the accounting piece of the platform. Well $15,000 later in PROCORE fees, my team through trial and error determined that the integration they had designed didn't actually work. They insisted it did but soon realized our team was correct. They promised they would have a fix within 2 weeks. It took over 6 weeks for them to "FIX" the integration issue. Not sure if they did because the only communication they maintained with us was invoicing us for a service that didn't work as promised. After dozens of emails to all contacts we had at PROCORE we received not ONE response except for invoices not being paid. So we walked- $15, 000 out of pocket and what I would estimate at least that in wages paid to employees for training on the PROCORE platform , Identifying a flaw in there system and receiving no support from PROCORE after they said the XERO integration was fixed. PROCORE failed with my company. They have very little direct support available. NO accountability and no contact person assigned to our account. Maybe it works well for some but if we ran our construction company like PROCORE runs their business we would be out of business faster then you can shake a stick. I HAVE NOTHING POSITIVE TO SAY ABOUT PROCORE-their employees or customer support.

The idea of PROCORE looked like a great fit for our company

Nachteile:

Customer service was terrible. They have no dedicated pint person for account holders Integrations did not work as promised

Professional at its Core

Kommentare: Quite satisfied using Procore to upload Drawings and distribute it to the Team for viewing.

Vorteile:

The process of uploading Drawings is quite simple compare to other products.

Nachteile:

Sometimes Procore does not read the drawings properly therefore the automatic information that it inputs is incorrect. Additionally Timesheets through Procore is not feasible.

I love Procore

Kommentare: great there's not much more to say ! We love it.

Vorteile:

The tracking of projects and the ease of use.

Nachteile:

Its slow alot of times when you try to open it up on desktop.

Software Integration Problems - Sold software that wouldn't work, won't refund, won't communicate.

Kommentare: Terrible customer service, terrible management. Falsely advertises services their team can't integrate only after you have already purchased the software. The QB connector causes issues with ERP integration, cost codes, and even bidding tool requiring double the time to bid projects to break out material and labor which pulls together from all the databases. Also bidding software marks up sales tax, so all the estimators are not getting exact pricing breakout as they advertise. This could easily effect any bid that is equipment heavy.

Vorteile:

Initially it seemed very easy to integrate and use the software from bidding to QB integration.

Nachteile:

Sales team upsold us with QB Connector, but failed to deliver the same functionality as shown. Sales team showed capability of QB (Online only) connector integration, using many cost codes, and the product database with labor / material. Never disclosed QB Desktop connector doesn't have the same functionality until 1.5 months after purchase when implementing software. Implementation service team finally discloses can't use the various cost codes, but also requires user to separate all material and labor for all database items, causing double the time to bid projects. Procore management refuses to respond, sitting now for 3-weeks without any communication for resolution. Software is unable to be used, and can't integrate any ERP for budgets, bids, and completely useless. Beware of this for small business owners, Procore management will strong arm you, even when their Terms and Conditions state refund is applicable when they misrepresented their product capability, therefore costing you an additional $2k for software you can't use. They will hold out and cost you money each week, after being notified through BBB of compliant and refusing to acknowledge their own integration issues.

Pro core for construction workers

Vorteile:

Having access to multiple jobs on mobile phone or tablet while offsite

Nachteile:

I can’t access drawings unless have been invited to job

Procore is a solid construction platform

Kommentare: The overall experience has been easy and fluid to use.

Vorteile:

The fact that all of the pertinent project information, submittals, plans and specifications are all in one place for all the trades to review.

Nachteile:

The fact that files can't be viewed directly but rather have to be downloaded to fully view.

Great Project Tool

Kommentare: Procore is a great tool for Construction professionals. The feature set is very tailored to construction related tasks

Great set of features tailored to construction projects

Nachteile:

Runs a bit slow in my experience. Wish there was a better option to review BIM models.

Procore Review

Kommentare: I used it in the past often, to manage and bill GCs

Vorteile:

Its user friendly and all of the important documents are in one place

Nachteile:

That more GCs don't use it. It is an easy product but only as functional within the network who uses it.

Consolidated and Simplified Financial System

Vorteile:

All project financial related items are in the one place - forecasting, subcontracts, POs, progress claiming, variations, etc., which makes it extremely easy to track all project financial elements. It is especially convenient when Procore is used for project control too (i.e., RFIs, document control, etc.), making it even more streamlined.

Nachteile:

It can be annoying that you can't amend variations after they are approved. You also can't amend PO/SC SOV line items after an invoice has been uploaded, which makes the invoice process quite time consuming.

Procore stand above the rest

Kommentare: Amazing and what a time saver. Contracts, change orders, invoicing, submittals - makes everything at your finger tips

Vorteile:

Procore allows everyone in the organization from the office to the field to the architects to collaborate on a project

Nachteile:

Sometimes it takes a bit for everyone to see the documents in the folders

Would Rather Not Have Been the Guniea Pig

Kommentare: We were previously integrated using Ryvit (now DataXchange) however, when we moved our projects under a different company in Vista and tried to resync/integrate, the process failed. We spent roughly 4 months trying to make our projects whole again. The likelihood of someone else running into the same issue is slim but my point is- make sure you look into all limitations and have contingency plans in place for if the integration is unsuccessful. It is only after having this disrupt our entire company that we learned some of these very critical nuances that can cause integration to fail. They have since added additional tools following the lessons learned with our company, but it was not pleasant being the guniea pig for troubleshooting.

Vorteile:

We have a new Customer Success Manager who is far more engaged than previously. Fairly comprehensive

Nachteile:

The integration process was a nightmare given the right individuals were not engaged in the conversation. Users do not know what they don't know- we need our software partners to help us understand limitations. Not FedRamp certifiedNot the best platform for projects with numerous areas

Great for Large and Frequent Projects

Kommentare: I believe that it is a great platform if you do a lot of construction projects that involve multiple trades. If you mostly do 1-2 trade smaller projects, it may not be worth it.

Vorteile:

Procore gives you an easy to use platform to share construction progress, plan sets, deadlines, and communicate updates

Nachteile:

The platform can be clunky to use - for instance, downloading plan sets is not as intuitive as it should be and things such as going back to various pages are not intuitive.

Excellent Project/Document Management Software

Vorteile:

Procore is heavily customisable, and comes with modules that can be added and removed to use (and pay) for only the modules you wish to use. Drawing and Specification modules are excellent, and correspondence quickly being improved. Punch Lists, Document managent, tendering all done well.

Nachteile:

Slightly different and takes a few weeks to get comfortable with if familar with other similar products.

Procore: Highly Recommend

the availability of information for all involved in each project is near perfect.

sometimes the sign in process and locating specific information can be difficult to find.

Procore Experience

Vorteile:

FUNCTIONALLYTY. It is amazing how many functions Procore has. Personally, I have used it for invoicing and estimating, which were pretty easy and super detail-oriented. Additionally, it has amazing project management tools for the construction industry. You can use it to save, use, share all the required documents, like drawings, addendums, estimates,etc

Nachteile:

Price. It is expensive. For small companies like ours, it is a significant expense.

Procore is a great all in one for contractors

Vorteile:

Manage multiple projects with multiple team members easily. Able to update in real time across projects.

Nachteile:

Didn't use the mobile version so there may be some opportunity there.

Procore Could Use Work

Vorteile:

Able to add and track mutiple projects and cosding

Nachteile:

Not worth what you pay for the program.

Kommentare: Important project activities tracking system and the aability to manage tasks and workflow the product is reliable.

Great news to project manager which helps manage multiple projects and also collaborate across all Engineers from different project and helpful documentation solution. Planning and the budgeting functionalities with the platform is amazing and reporting is very smooth.

Nachteile:

Powerful tools and easy learning and manipulation of all the software features and nothing to dislike on this platform.

ProCore Review

Vorteile:

Ease of tracking due dates in the system for RFI and submittals

Nachteile:

Once an item is marked complete, or 'ball-in-court' is put into someone else's name you cannot go back and add material.

Everyone stays on the same page!

Vorteile:

The ease of collaboration between Contractors and Subcontractors.

Nachteile:

QuickBooks integration not an easy process.

Great industry standard tool for Architects

Kommentare: Still learning all the features but very good program.

Vorteile:

Relatively easy to navigate the UI and stay organized. Plenty of tools to use or ignore - there are a lot. Love the photo upload functionality to make site visit documentation more comprehensive.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the tools can be overwhelming and difficult to understand where different parties' responsibilities lie.

An OK construction project management tool

Vorteile:

Clear main modules, easy to use and navigate

Nachteile:

email notifications are not targeted to right group.

Not the most user friendly for PR

Vorteile:

Easy to set up employees for payroll entering

Nachteile:

No very good reports or managing payroll
