Vorteile:

Paylocity's user-friendly interface streamlines and automates HR and payroll processes for better management. Our platform provides streamlined processes and thorough reporting tools, guaranteeing effective administration and meeting regulatory benchmarks. Because of this, Paylocity is an essential tool for any company.

Nachteile:

Paylocity's mobile app is currently more limited in functionality than the desktop version. If the app were upgraded and expanded, the user experience would be more in line with that of the desktop version.

A must for people that need to access their work data

Vorteile:

I would say the thing I like most about Paylocity is the user interface. I have found it very easy to navigate where I need to go and the interface is very responsive.

Nachteile:

The only thing I do not like is not being able to check in or check out remotely.

Paylocity could be better.

Kommentare: My overall experience is for everything I like about Paylocity there is just as many things I don't like. For instance, why when I try to make a timecard correction do I get an error saying the change would affect the employees negative balance when all I'm doing is changing a clock out to a clock in or changing a clock to end lunch or changing 8 hours vacation to 4 hours vacation.

Vorteile:

There are many features. I like that I can see actual copies of employees checks. Very helpful with UE being able to select a specific period of time for earnings. Customer service is very good.

Nachteile:

Vacation balances differ between timecard area and employee and HR and payroll area. Trying to figure out keywords for pulling up a report is difficult. The reports I do pull up are often blank, not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Overall good, but room for improvement.

Kommentare: Overall, Paylocity is one of the better HRIS systems I've worked with. Payroll is simpler while still being secure and my employees also seem to engage well with the program.

Vorteile:

Paylocity has allowed us to customize a lot about our company site/setup. I spend most of my time in the Onboarding side of things and being able to customize the onboarding tasks is really helpful. When it comes to the Employee's side of Paylocity, it is relatively straightforward and user-friendly. The site is easy to navigate and when needed, the support team is very friendly and usually quick to respond.

Nachteile:

There is definitely room for improvement within Paylocity. It seems like a lot of functions, features, and even naming conventions are a bit more complicated than they need to be. In the onboarding side, setting up onboarding event packets, tasks, or templates is a TOTAL PAIN. The process is cumbersome and you can't delete certain things once they're created. The builder for customizing onboarding tasks 100% needs some help and could be a lot more user friendly if Paylocity were to copy a builder-setup like SurveyMonkey.

Paylocity is a monstrosity

Kommentare: I have had just a blah experience with paylocity I will never ever want to use it again especially if I ever run a business on my own I have to say it's very mediocre and the dashboard is just not up with the times your standards that I have in my book. There's also just a vague paycheck stub that you get with just the taxes and the breakdown in that fact but it doesn't allow you to go in and search for discrepancies and clocking in and clocking out

Vorteile:

I liked the means of being able to change my direct deposit information in real time

Nachteile:

I hate the fact that this program doesn't offer a detailed breakdown of clocking in and out.

Convenient!

Kommentare: I've used Paylocity with multiple companies. It's easy to access check stubs and tax documents as needed and they appear in the portal quickly after being submitted.

Vorteile:

It's easy and convenient to have all of my financial documents in one place. Any end user can accurately clock in and out, in addition to requesting time off and viewing documents.

Nachteile:

I have no dissatisfaction to report with Paylocity.

Easy to navigate

Kommentare: Overall, the software is convenient and easy to read. Information is displayed in an organized manner and there is minimal confusion. There are some issues with loading sometimes but it’s usually resolved quickly. It’s useful for payroll, especially for a company with a large number of employees.

Vorteile:

It’s pretty straightforward and easy to navigate. Everything is organized and simple to read which is helpful for those that are not particularly tech-savvy.

Nachteile:

There are some instances where it doesn’t load very quickly which can be frustrating.

Better than the others

Kommentare: Have been using Paylocity for over 10 years and I have never encountered any issues.

Vorteile:

Easy to work with. Very user friendly. Customer service is great, you will always get the help you need and quickly.

Nachteile:

The only thing I personally do not like is that every 6 months I have to change my password.

Very user friendly software and multifunctional to use for so much more than just time keeping and payroll services. It has a multitude of HR functions that not only engage employees but keeps everything in one place, making it easier and more convenient for both management and employees.

Nachteile:

No direct contact info for assigned account managers.

Simplicity at its best

Kommentare: It’s been great their team is very helpful whenever there are any payroll or benefits concerns. They offer many integration options for benefits and everify to help streamline processes

Best pay roll company

Kommentare: My overall experience with Paylocity has been very pleasant and by far the best pay roll I've ever used.

Vorteile:

I love how you can track your hours, how you can communicate with other staff member and how you can see and request time off.

Nachteile:

So far I cannot say there are any cons its been the best pay role app I've ever used.

Paylocity is a must have!

It is so easy to use - Staff able to clock in and out on app without any issues or help

Nachteile:

sometimes there are too many reports with similar names that to get the right on you have to go through a lot but it is easy to run reports and if employee works in multiple departments must be vigilant to get in right department. Also the app does not have an employee sign in to correct department if they are in hallway - goes to wrong department

Great app for businesses all around

Good, have experienced better

Kommentare: In general, it is a pretty good payroll software but I have experienced better. The pricing structure seemed unclear and inconsistent. Hidden fees and unexpected charges cropped up periodically, which added to our overall cost without prior warning or explanation. This lack of transparency in pricing made it challenging to budget effectively and caused additional financial strain on our operations.

Vorteile:

I would say the ease of use by employees and the how straightforward the training is.

Nachteile:

The customer support was underwhelming. When we encountered issues or needed clarification, responses were slow and often didn't fully resolve our concerns. It felt like we were left to figure out complicated problems on our own, which is not ideal when dealing with sensitive payroll and employee data.

Satisfies The Employer and The Employee

Kommentare: Overall, The platform is easy to use and it covers everything between an organization and its employees from HR, payroll, benefits, and a lot more.

Vorteile:

I like seeing time accrued and used for vacation, personal, and sick time.

Nachteile:

I do not like logging in every time to clock in.

Kommentare: Overall I have had a really good experience using paylocity.

Vorteile:

What I like about paylocity is being able to clock in from my phone, having access to my work schedule, and just being able to have anything pertaining to my job all in one app.

Nachteile:

What I like least is it does take some time and exploration of the app to learn where everything is and to properly navigate the app.

Out with the old, in with Paylocity.

Kommentare: While working as a manager for a local non-profit, we transitioned from the old ways of clocking in, bulletin posts, and training courses, by merging all of those things and more into the paylocity app, and it was exactly what we needed.

Vorteile:

How intergrated everything was from clocking in, to company events, and the learning/ training courses.

Nachteile:

Nothing it wrapped up everything we needed into one app.

Kommentare: I loved using Paylocity at my old job and I also liked how there was a security question after logging in to make sure my information was safe and it was always easy to approve my time sheets and request sick time and pto and unpaid time off

Vorteile:

Very easy to use, and very accessible when needed

Nachteile:

Sometimes I would login and it pop up at the home page instead of the big login page, just personal preference though

Kommentare: Great app, very good for time and pay management. Offers lots of perks that would benefit any organization that needs to manage its' employees.

Vorteile:

Paylocity is so easy to use. Our company uses it to manage our punches, time off, and overtime. The app is the absolute best and makes for quick punches as needed during our shifts. I also like how easy it is to make changes to incorrect punches.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the app glitches, and it has to be refreshed in order to work. The website lags just a little bit as well.

Employee Self-Service Payroll

Vorteile:

What could be more convenient for employees to have a software that is "Self-Service Payroll". Monitor your own paycheck, download W2 and tax forms during tax season, look for your timesheet, request time-off. I like the peer management where they greet employees' birthday or years of service for the company. I also like that you can use it in Mobile App.

Nachteile:

I least like the always request of changing password. I know it's for security purposes.

Exactly What We Need

Vorteile:

I like the ability for users to take control of their HR needs. Paylocity is easy to use, so we are able to control our individual payrolls, time off, expenses, and more.

Nachteile:

Sometimes, things are buried and difficult to find.

Tracking w-2’s

Kommentare: Paylocity is easy to see how many hours you started with the company, easy to add all your checks and easy to see all your co workers names

Vorteile:

It’s super easy to track my W-2’s , and see how much a check would be if I missed certain hours

Nachteile:

Paylocity sometimes locks me out if you enter the password to many times
