Launching and Running a Medical Aesthetics Practice with Aesthetics Pro

Kommentare: I am extremely pleased with this remarkably comprehensive software - since it helps manage the medical, financial and marketing aspects of the practice. I purchased this software before launching a startup, and Aesthetics Pro has facilitated smooth operation in almost all facets of the practice. The EMR forms and templates have easily edited text and graphics. The side-by-side photo gallery, which can marked, is also simple to use; the staff spends comparatively little time creating comprehensive medical records. Clients can access discharge instructions from the client portal, or we can email them easily if left behind. We will take advantage of online booking and in-application messaging as we grow. But what really separates Aesthetics Pro from other EHRs is the seamless integration of marketing efforts and lead tracking. The increased efficiency (reduced staff time on redundant data entry) using a program that merges marketing software with EHR software. The lead list database in Aesthetics Pro has been crucial to our growth and success – converting a lead to client takes one click. Besides being able to send email blasts within the EMR, we can monitor the effectiveness of of all of our marketing campaigns – from print to digital to meet-and-greets. We’re also now able to track our referring clients, so we know those who like recommending us to others. Aesthetics Pro’s inventory tracking is also invaluable. Highest praise for this well-crafted, robust software.

Vorteile:

Tracks, manages and markets to new leads- including email blasts & touchpoints Excellent EMR Inventory tracking Tracks efficacy of our marketing efforts to determine ROI Metric reports are simple to generate Tracks patient referrals and marketing effort effectiveness via rewards tracking Dashboard tracks patient balances and services remaining in packages easily Easy to create pop up notes for informal communication re: patient Option to fully integrate the website and the practice management software Frequently adds new features to augment quality of patient care and marketing Scheduling by staff member, room and device helps avoid scheduling errors

Nachteile:

The patient's allergies list/profile does not appear in the patient's dashboard, and does not pop up in any way while writing the patients' medical notes. Same for emergency medical contact. The training information comes only video format, so its difficult to look up the answer to specific 'how to' questions after the videos have been viewed. Fortunately, the support staff is extremely prompt responding to both basic and complex queries via an in-application communication system - so these questions are quickly answered. The way the consent and discharge forms are currently structured, we can alter existing forms, but cannot create or add new ones.

Kommentare: Overall, I am pretty happy with the program for what you get and the cost.

Vorteile:

It is user friendly. They are very prompted about answering questions.

Nachteile:

You can't pick and choose what days off you want to have. Your schedule can't be changed very easily as to when you are open, but they do make it where clients can request appts which is nice. You can't edit/delete documents once they are created.

It is well thought out to support a busy Aesthetic medical practice. The videos for customizing the system are super helpful to get the most out of the comprehensive features. Customer support is responsive and informative to provide solutions that I couldn't navigate on my own.

Nachteile:

The connection to credit card processing Clover device hasn't worked as reliably as I would like so I have to use the terminal directly or Virtual Terminal on Gravity Payments. I have had a few times when AP system went down all together with a full patient schedule and had to make do until the system came back up. Unable to get individual patient records in a simple download if and when I retire.

Kommentare: One of the great things about AP is the customer support. There are a plethora of videos available that help with issues you may have, and if you need more help you put in a support ticket and receive a response in no more than a couple of hours. Compare this to other platforms I have used where customer support would literally take weeks to get back to you and usually with a canned response that didn't answer your question.

Vorteile:

*Easy to set up and very user friendly *Easy to use in day to day operations for inventory, billing, photography, charting, tracking profits, etc. *The cost is UNBEATABLE

Nachteile:

We have one location, I have no experience with how AP works across multiple locations, but I believe it can be set up for that as well.

Chart is nice, but uploading pictures is inconvenient and you can not save comparison photos. Scheduling booking online is friendly

Glitchy, not worth it

Kommentare: Bad experience. I am on a look out and scheduled some demos with competitors. My main issue is constant glitches: eblasts not being sent when scheduled or come out crooked, by the time the clients receive monthly eblast promo it is end of month, and why so long?- because their support is not resolving issues but only dragging time to seemingly look they are trying to help. Other issues I encountered: records dont save, appointment reminders fail, no gift card option, vital functions for medspa managing are absent making it a barely charting program. The worst is also their support, but really- lack of it. You need to write them a question you have in a ticket, by the time someone gets back to you can pass 2 days, just to read a sentence from them to clarify my question, than waiting again- nightmare. That is why it takes months to get answers to resolve a certain issue. Their support team i fins is quite incompetent and answers with premade learned generic sentences. I am not happy with them. It is the worst program I have used as a medspa owner. Charting- not bad, easy, medspa managing - non existent. You would still need to get Twillio, or 3rd party for gift cards such as Giftfly. Before Aurora there were no glitches, after Aurora- glitch on glitch. Their web developers need to be fired!

Vorteile:

Charting is relatively easy, I can customize charting templates. Thats it.

Nachteile:

Constant glitches ever since new version Aurora came out. I dont care for any new features if it is unusable due to glitches. The marketing is nonexistent, the eblasts are sent with a bunch of signs and symbols instead of attached photos, no 2 way messaging. Its pretty bad.

I had not decision making ability. It was in place when purchased business. Would love to find something that integrates with scheduling and google

Nachteile:

No manual. Have watched every video but their are things I can figure out. No integration with google. Inability to change confirmation email when appointment changed. Have to be very specific when searching. Hard to up load photos to treatment record

Vorteile:

Aesthetic Pro is very easy to use for both providers and patients. I highly appreciate their support team as they're always prompt in their responses. My account manager, [sensitive content hidden], is very responsive, caring and always willing to help. She always goes above and beyond when resolving issues in our access and billing. I highly recommend AestheticPro product!

Nachteile:

None. I like Aesthetic Pro product and I do not have any reservations or any regrets in using it.

Kommentare: Terrible overall - way too many bugs. Support is available but slow. They lock you into a contract because they know their system is terrible.

Vorteile:

Quick setup. Form creation is pretty straight forward.

Nachteile:

Very buggy and limiting. They lock you into a 1 year contract - hidden in the lengthy contract they provide. Whenever you contact support, you have a lot of back and forth. Some things take months to resolve. Notifications are not customizable for separate services.

Vorteile:

Ease of Use, great customer support, lots of features for Med-Spa, not too costly,

Nachteile:

Like all software platforms ...could use some other features...With 20 years of Med-Spa experience we did lots of research before purchasing this program. We found it to be the best one for our needs.

Review After Two Years of Use

Kommentare: On a scale of 1 to 10, the overall experience has been a 3.

Vorteile:

It has served it's purpose for us as a brand new spa, however, as we grow we will need to move to a different EMR system that offers more features & functions.

Nachteile:

Reporting functions do not exist - retention, pre-booking, etc Online booking function rarely works correctly There is no customer service number to call When charging for memberships there is no notification if a payment hasn't gone through There is no confirmation text unless a patient schedules online The character limit for SMS text is too low Consent forms don't always save properly Charting information doesn't always save properly There are a lot of issues with the online consent forms, and patients have difficulty accessing them

The great parts of Aesthetics Pro are the ease of use and portability.

Nachteile:

The downside of AestheticsPro is that its more expensive than other EMRs that include integration with knsurance companies.

Best Business Investment!

The features makes it easy to run my business seamlessly

Nachteile:

The fact that it doesn’t not Integrate with any E-commerce platform and doesn’t not Integrate with other Credit card machines outside of the two vendors that Aesthetic Pro provides.
