Makes life easier

Vorteile:

Makes scheduling different show dates easy and keep track

Nachteile:

Nothing I can say that I have had a problem with this software.

Original pioneer in resource loaded scheduling.

Vorteile:

The price is the best part about this software, it does everything almost identically (pretty sure Fast Track did it first...) to Microsoft Project.

Nachteile:

I don't have to many complaints about this software but the learning curve was a little steep for someone brand new into this field of work. One course was all it took though.

Really useful when comparing resource availability, but crashes too much

Kommentare: I enjoyed working with FastTrack and the schedules it created did impress clients. It is flexible - it's such a shame it kept crashing. We lost trust in the software to show you actual data that we could monitor efficiently unfortunately.

Vorteile:

Once a template was created, it was so quick to generate new schedules. Using a consolidated format, we could easily see who was free and who was double booked up. It was easy to update and play about with moving tasks etc. Exporting gantts and calendar schedules was easy too.

Nachteile:

The history the schedules created when dependencies were involved, cause the software to crash a lot. Especially when in the consolidated schedule view, which ultimately made us choose to use a new piece of software to schedule our team.

Good alternative to Microsoft Project

Kommentare: I've tried FastTrack Schedule because MS Project is not supported on Macs. This is a good alternative software to create Gantt charts.
